Apollo Sulterii
Name: Apollo Sulterii
Age:34 Sex: Male Species: Vulpes Fortis (Strong Fox) Appearance: Apollo has orange fur. His eyes are emerald green. His tail is orange with a white top. He has a red muscle shirt, tan shorts, and white shoes, as well as a pair of fingerless black gloves. He has specialized tattoos on his arms and chest. He always has a melancholy look on his face unless he is fighting. Personality: Apollo generally tends to be shy and paranoid. Intelligence wise, he’s just a little higher than normal levels. He believes in equality. He likes to watch sun rises, traveling, and training. He hates when people put themselves on a pedestal over others, and he also hates people who are just plain stupid, but act smart. He likes to receive but would rather give. Finally, he is more of a follower than a leader. Family: Andrew Sulterii was the father he never knew. Him and and his mother Bethel died from an ambush of slave traders when he was 2 years old. From what he has learned of his parents, his father was a repair man and his mother was a stay at home mom. They where ambushed on their way to a party. Transport: He usually walks, since he's never in a hurry unless there’s a reason. Sometimes, he'll jump onto trains or hitch-hike. Weapons: He mostly uses his fists for fighting, but he can use most objects as bludgeoning devices. The monks he used to live with gave him a pocket knife (refer to biography). Biography: Apollo doesn’t know much about himself. He never knew his parents. When he was two years old, his parents were slain trying to escape a group of human bandits. All of his birth certificates were burned, making it as if he never existed. After this, the only reason he knows his real name was because of the slave traders the bandits had sold him to. Since he never knew the fate of his parents, he never held a grudge against human kind. In fact, he appreciated them because of the simple fact that they kept him alive and raised him. They fed him well, gave him good sleeping quarters, and educated him, which started his interest in books and learning. Soon after turning fourteen, he was sold to a rich family who owned a plantation. They took care of him depending on how much he worked, and after another five years, he was sold to another rich family. This new family he was with considered him less of a friend and more as property. Promptly after buying him, they gave him permanent tattoos on his shoulders and sent him into the fields to work. For seven years he did various chores, such as tending the livestock, harvesting crops, and serving the family. He occasionally read books when he had time but he had to sneak them from his owner. He often dreamed of traveling the world, seeing all the things he could only find in books and magazines. One evening he was returning from the fields and his masters let guard dogs out fairly early. He had to get by them some how. He decided to sprint to see if he could beat them to his shack, but his plan failed because he was exhausted from work. They caught him by the ankle causing him to fall. His right shoulder hit his dining table breaking the bench and dislocating his shoulder to the extent where it couldn't be fully repaired. It took 3 months to be fully functional. One day, whilst out in the fields, he decided he would try to escape. He snuck a robe out from his master’s laundry, distracted the guard dogs with his bits of his last meal, climbed over the cinder block wall, and ran until he came upon a train station, where he boarded a departing train and was on his way. Soon after departing, he was noticed by security and an officer was sent to catch him. He was chased to the back of the train and had to make a desperate move, throwing himself off the side and down an embankment, in the course of it all, spraining his leg pretty bad. Luckily for him, there happened to be a dojo nearby. After a seemingly long and painful trip, he reached the doors, and the resident monks took him in to help. They knew he was a slave by the tattoos, but they didn’t turn him in, for they believed everyone should be free. Instead, they hid him from his pursuers for a few days and forged fake papers to show that he was a free man, living there by his own will. After hearing his life’s story, they took him in and trained him in their style of martial arts and hiding him from the police in exchange for him helping them with various jobs around the monastery. Almost eight years later, the police gave up on their search, and Apollo could relax, knowing they weren’t going to bother him anymore. The monks gave him another tattoo, the mark of a released slave, on his chest. Soon they came to treat him like he was family, but he longed to see the world, so they gave him some a bag of supplies and a small sum of money and sent him on his way. Inside the bag was some food, a bottle of water, and a pocket knife. Skills: Due to several years of trying to stay hidden, he has gotten very good at moving very quietly, so much so that it'd have to be completely silent to hear him. He also has enhanced night vision and hearing as is common to foxes. Moves: Shock wave: Using his fist, he can punch the ground so hard that it sends a shock wave out in front of him, which can throw his opponents off balance. Has a 1 yard radius. Boulder Hurl: Using his strength, he throws a boulder thats size limit is just bigger than his head towards enemies that are within a 30 ft. radius. Strengths: Having been a slave his whole life, he's proficient at cooking, cleaning, heavy lifting, and using tools. He has also built up quite a bit of strength over the years, and has a quick mind. Weaknesses: He has below average speed and hasn't learned to swim yet.His right shoulder dislocates easily because of the incident at the plantation. |
