RE: Egg Fleet Retreat
“OOOooo, I’m glad you like it~!” She replied whimsically, as she brought her clasped hands below her chin. “ It’s because of the umbrella being made up of a bunch of little nanites that are meant to change shape and form. I programmed them to do that.”

Still in shock, Snively twitched in place as he looked over at Rose. It seemed within a few seconds he broke down as he pointed his finger at her (all the while not moveing out of place). SHE’SABSOLUTELYCRAZY,ITELLYOU!!! Snively blurted out in a yell that both sounded scared and angry. SHESGOINGTOKILLYOU,ISWEAR!

Rose’s eyes stared beams at him; but instead of a darkened look it was more like an angry, childish pout. “ No I wasn’t, meanie~!” She exclaimed childishly. “I just-I just said that because I was MAD okay?!”

It was about the end of her second exclamation, she inhaled a short, sharp gasp. Rose also appeared to be tearing up. “ All-all I wanted to do was help Ivo out! And…and he yelled at me!!!” She let out a fairly big sob at the end of the sentence, making it obvious that she was clearly upset about the event. She let out another sharp gasp before she continued (with a few sniffles), tears running down her cheeks and all. He-HE wanted me to go away…an-an-and never come back! AndIdon’tknowwhatIdidwrong, and he wouldn’t tell me!

Snively had managed to move away from the axe, and watched as Rose began breaking down into tears. He glanced left and right awkwardly, not exactly knowing what to do. He wanted to add something in Robotnik’s defense, but for some reason he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Perhaps it was because Rose was being completely genuine, as he was sure that as hammy as it was it did fit with her crazy profile. She was genuinely upset that his Uncle had yelled at her to go away; heck, he was there. He’d seen first hand how she’d completely broke down then and there, yelling out ‘What did I do wrong?’ while his uncle didn’t answer back.

So for the first time he’d felt sympatric for her. Which at the same time made him sick to his stomach.

RE: Egg Fleet Retreat
The longer Robotnik was around this version of Rose, the more he thought he preferred the old Rose back. Sure, old Rose also wasn't completely right in the head, but not to the same degree as this one. This version of Rose seemed extremely moody, bipolar, and just plain unpredictable. Not to mention half the time he was wondering if she really felt the way she did or if she was just acting this way for some reason.

The more allies he met from other dimensions, the less he figured he would also want to meet alternate versions of himself. Honestly, if he trusted these people to help lead his empire, then what sort of man was he in other dimensions?

On the other hand, Snively seemed much more level-headed than Rose for sure. He would remember to get him alone at some point so that he could ask more about the way she behaved, so that he'd be better prepared to manage her.

To keep the conversation going, he decided to respond to the last thing she'd brought up.

"What did you do that got the alternate version of me so angry, anyway? I'd like to know. And I won't get mad myself, don't you worry."

RE: Egg Fleet Retreat
“Y-you won’t?” Rose replied, her voice sounded gargled from the sobbing. “ You won’t yell at me anymore?”

“Well his reaction –did- seem strange.” Snively began, sounding a little more dull than usual. “She –did- help fight off those pesky freedom fighters. Perhaps it has something to do with pursuing a man half her age.” He sounded somewhat disgusted near the end of his sentence; even giving off a little scowl as he looked up and away from both of them.

Rose seemed to stop crying, though she did sniffle once or twice, calming down some from her episode as she looked over at Snively. But she was giving him a puzzled look.

“Half? Half? She began, sounding bewildered. “ I’m only three years younger than him…”

RE: Egg Fleet Retreat
Unbeknownst to Robotnik, Snively or Rose, the freakish cyborg known as Rampage had boarded their ship some time ago trying to find the good doctor. (and scrapped a couple smart mouthed Swat-bots whose only sin was the computer glitch implanted by the Freedom Fighters decided to act up at that moment) He'd been a little more than surprised to learn Robotnik was in the medical bay. Sure, the spectacular way by which the factory ship went down did not exactly indicate success, but even so. The doc did not tend to come away from a fight physically injured himself.

What he found when he got there was even more surprising. Rose, or at least someone he could only assume was posing as Rose fawning over Robotnik like a scatter-brained anime school girl and Snively. In the dimension Rampage came from there was a Snively, but this one looked different than the one he remembered. Probably another spin-off from the merge. But even these unexpected surprises paled in comparison to the sight of Robotnik's injuries.

He couldn't resist the urge to 'egg' the eggman a little. But for now, he was more interested in this new Rose. She seemed even more bizarre and random than before; and possibly more dangerous if those nanites could transform from a benign umbrella into an axe. For the moment, he'd wait to hear whatever explanation she planned to give the doc, then step in.

RE: Egg Fleet Retreat
With a limp in his leg, Tatsuhiro next to the cyborg and decided to watch the scene from afar himself. He had been in the infirmary just a little while before getting out and walking around; feeling restless. He was just on his way back when he’d realize that the ship had started to move, and as he got closer smelt a strong scent of blood. He had wondered what was coming from it, and was surprised to see the Doctor in his state.

As his nose twitched upwards as he breathed in, he was looking somewhat strangely at Rose and the man in green. There was a particular large smell of the Doctor on the tall green man, but not from the women was acting very peculiar. He was a little on edge at the two new arrivers being so close to Robotnik, not to mention the axe in the middle of the room didn’t quite help his suspicious thoughts.

Quote:“Y-you won’t?” Rose replied, her voice sounded gargled from the sobbing. “ You won’t yell at me anymore?”

Robo kind of sunk back in his pillow, as Rose continued speaking in a rather loud volume for this small place. It really was quite exhausting, and not to mention rather confusing.

"I don't see why I would... The version before you I didn't yell at."

Quote:“Half? Half?” She began, sounding bewildered. “ I’m only three years younger than him…”

The doctor's mouth fell open at that remark, as he studied Rose up and down. Yes, she did look older than before, but he would have never thought she looked THAT old. He really did need more explanation.

"Rose, are you really that old? The old one before you looked a little bit younger than you, but she certainly wasn't nearly as old as me."

Off to the side, he couldn't help but notice two people standing in the doorway to the room. It looked to be Rampage and Tatsu. Where had they been during all this time? If Robo recalled Rampage wanted to fight that hedgehog upstairs in the factory ship, and Tatsu... He couldn't remember. He'd helped capture Gerald but then seemed to have vanished after that.

In any case, the doctor waved them in.

"Come on in. Don't be shy."

He really didn't want to be alone with only Rose and Snively. Even if the extra company was a strange demon dude and a cruel cyborg who probably had his own agenda, at least he knew with relative predictability what they might do next. Not so with Rose. It would be good to have help around if she did something...unexpected.

RE: Egg Fleet Retreat
“I suppose I’ll take that as a complement,” Rose replied, somewhat cheerfully. While she was appearing happy, it wasn’t nearly as energetic as before. She went straight for her pursue and started to rummage through it. She was looking for another syringe. “ Don’t you think it’d be a little strange that I’d manage to get a Ph.D in medical practices and nanite technology that manages to self heal all around my twenties?”

She has a point… muttered Snively, as brought his attention to the door. He wasn’t incredible fazed by the sight of the Badger. He looked somewhat like Kage Von Stryker; or even Drago Wolf. The Gargoyle however, was a tad different. Though his shock in seeing him was probably just a notch above the Badgers; he’d seen a lot of strange things. Even so, he looked a tad nervous as he took a few steps closer to where his uncle was.

Rose would eventually pull out one of the other Nanite Syringes and placed the needle on. She then walked over towards Robotnik’s side with the bad arm, and examined the syringe she was holding up. “ But look at me talking when there’s work to be done,” Rose started she looked over at Robotnik. “Now I’m going to have to move that arm just a little, so you might feel some pain.”

She would end up moving his arm so to get at the main vain and inject a second dosage of nanites into his arm that would heal up any minor wounds left from the first batch; and start to clean up the bone injury (i.e., making sure fragments and such are in place).

[2 out of 5 Nanite Syringes.]

((OOC: Rose: ~Look at me still talking when there’s science to do; and when I look out there makes me GLaD I’m not you- I’ve experiments to run, there is research to be done on the people who are still alive~))

RE: Egg Fleet Retreat
Upon Robotnik's invitation, Rampage fully entered the room while keeping a close eye on Rose and his laser rifle casually perched on his shoulder just in case. "Well, well, well... The gang's all here. Psycho Princess, Butt-Ugly and even old Sniv-nose decided to finally show up. And then of course our ever triumphant leader." Rampage declared with a semi-sarcastic bow at the end.

Noticing the syringe in Rose's hand, Rampage couldn't resist goading Rose further on. Clasping his hands together at the side of his face, Rampage feigned an endearing smile as he spoke with a none too subtle hint of sarcasm. "Awww... ain't that sweet? The psycho wants to play doctor with you, Doc."

"Blargh!!! Gag me with a chocolate heart!!" Rampage almost immediately broke character to appear as if he were about to throw up.

Turning his attention back to Robotnik the cyborg badger smiled that eerily menacing one-sided smile of his. "So... I'm guessing the deer kicked your ass, didn't he? You seem to have pretty rotten luck fighting prey species don't you? Hedgehogs, rabbits, ground squirrels. Heck even butt-ugly back there looks like he's been through the ringer. Lucky for you, I saved the surveillance tapes from that scrape pile of slag back there. Once I get through studying this thing and all the moves those Freedom Fighters used, they won't know what hit 'em!"

RE: Egg Fleet Retreat
As Rampage walked into the room, Tatsu would wait a couple of seconds before following behind him and stayed there. When Rampage stopped, Tatsu went into a crouch and continued to examine the room. He could sense some nervousness from the Doctor and a little fear from Snively. But much like Ramapge, it seemed like Rose wasn’t paying attention at all. The fact that she wasn’t fazed was a sure sign to him that she wasn’t exactly right.

While he’d normally just sit there and pay attention to his surroundings, he couldn’t help but put his own input to what Rampage said.

“ If they were really prey they wouldn’t be able to fight back. They’d just get away or die. Plus, they taste exactly like human.”

[OOC: Going off purely by the logic that mobians are much like humans, so in a way they’re muscle structure is probably closer to human than they’re particular animal. Also, no, he hasn’t eaten anybody. Just bitten into people is all. So, yeah he’d know.]

RE: Egg Fleet Retreat
Robotnik looked on in surprise as Rose mentioned all the things she had accomplished. He had to know one thing.

"So...how do you maintain your appearance like that? Do your nanites do that too?"

It was then that Rampage entered the room and started spluttering out his usual insulting drivel. However, Robotnik's eyes lit up at the mention that Rampage seemed to know Snively.

"Wait...so you're from a dimension where you worked with Snively as well?"

His eyes turned back and forth between the cyborg and the thin man. He couldn't picture them working together at all. In fact, Snively looked rather meek right now seeing the badger here. Maybe they did have a history after all. Robotnik wrote most of the rest of the insults off since he was used to it, but the last bit about being beaten by a deer of all things was a low blow in his eyes.

"I don't see YOU doing any better at stopping them yourself!"
the doctor shouted, suddenly lunging towards him as he practically spat out the words. "What were you doing upstairs all that time while I was fighting him down on the factory floor? Shining your gears? You need to learn better to not let personal business get in the way of your duties. That would have been a lot more help than grabbing the video tapes!"

Tatsu then made a side comment about the anthros he'd been fighting tasting like...human. Rampage forgotten, Robotnik immediately turned his head towards Tatsu, his eyes wide and fearful. A clear undercurrent of disgust could be noticed as well.

"They...they taste like human? Really? How...how do you know?"

And to think he'd been half thinking of having deer meat before. If anthros tasted like human would that make him a...cannibal? The doctor was evil, yes, but he had standards. He certainly couldn't imagine doing that to any of his enemies.

[Yeah, I saw what you said Rose, but of course Robotnik wouldn't know that XD]
