Name: Dulcinea Asharah (Dulcy for short)

Species: Mute Swan

Appearance: Standing 4 feet tall at the shoulder, she is a bit short if you don't count her long slender neck which adds between about one and a half and two feet, depending on whether her neck is held in more of an 's' shape, or straight. Her wingspan is about seven and a half feet. At the end of each wing she has hands featuring 3 fingers and an opposable thumb, with the feathers that make up her wingtips extending from just behind her knuckles. She has periwinkle blue eyes, no hair, and pearl white feathers covering her body, with a dab of yellow feathers running from the top of her beak to the top of her head. As for her legs they are human-like in shape only more slender, and covered in smooth black scales, ending in black webbed feet. She wears a light blue dress with sapphire blue trim which comes down to her mid thighs, the dress has an opening in the back to allow her tail feathers to poke through and is made to not interfere with flight.


Personality: Dulcy is one of the sweetest and kindest people you will ever meet, if you�re nice to her, she�ll be your best friend, and even if you�re a little mean to her, she�ll forgive you. She loves nature and one of her favorite things to do is to soar among the thermals in the skies above the forests and meadows. However, don�t let her carefree spirit and sweet personality lull you into thinking she can�t defend herself, or that she won�t fight for what she believes in and what she thinks is right.

History: Dulcy lived in and around many of the forests all over North America, as her kind are known to travel somewhat frequently. Her mother is named Fina, her father Elsu, her brother Jalen and her sister Kawena. She, her family, and the rest of her flock lived a peaceful life for the most part minding their own business, that was until Robotnik started destroying many of their nesting sites to build factories and polluting many more to the point where they can no longer be used. Not to mention a few members of the flock were shot and killed by security robots when they strayed too close to a construction site one day. Well, it didn�t take long before everyone decided that they needed to fight back, otherwise before long there would be nowhere left to live and raise the children. So first most of the males in the flock started to fight against Robotnik�s advances, destroying, many construction sites before they could even get started, then vanishing into the thick forests to escape pursuit. Before long nearly every adult in the flock had joined the fight, and children were trained to defend themselves, and then how to fight, starting at the age of 6.
As for Dulcy, her dad was killed when she was 8 years old, and from that point on, she trained extra hard, soon surpassing all of the children her age in skill, she could hold her own in hand to hand combat with boys that were as much as 2 or even 3 years older than her, and her marksmanship with her dad�s crossbow was unmatched by anyone in the flock. She is determined to do whatever she can to help stop Robotnik from unleashing more pain and suffering onto the people of Earth.

Weapon:

Primary: Her father�s crossbow, it holds 5 bolts at a time and can be fired with one hand. Extra bolts are kept in a case, which is looped into her belt.

Secondary: As a backup, and for close quarters, she carries a 7� dagger. It has a stainless steel blade with a hand guard and the hilt is polished oak.

Moves:

Dive Bomb: She goes into a dive while holding her loaded and armed crossbow in one wingtip, and fires a few shots off at the target on the way down. (Is the only way she can fire from the air, and her accuracy isn�t as great as it is when on the ground.)

Aim: She takes a few moments to aim at her opponent and increase her chances of making a hit when she fires her crossbow. (Can leave her open to attack while she is aiming.)

Gust of Wind: Either while standing on the ground, or at low altitude, she flaps her wings rapidly to kick up dust and dirt and send it at her opponent. (Does not work in arenas that are kept clean, such as most indoor arenas.)

Zigzag Flight: She flies in an erratic zigzag pattern to try and avoid attack from above or below. (She can�t keep it up forever, as she will get tired after doing this maneuver for several minutes.)

Abilities: She is very skilled at flying; after all, it�s her favorite thing to do. She could easily fly circles around Tails or Cream, however, though her feathers are water-proof, if they get covered in oil or something of that sort, it will soak in and prevent her from taking off because of the extra weight and all. Also, she has exceptional eyesight and hearing, however her sense of smell is well, pretty pathetic.[U]
