Pursuit in the Mystic Mansion! Tutley vs Relic

RE: Pursuit in the Mystic Mansion! Tutley vs Relic
".... WHAT THE HELL?!", was all that came from the turtles mouth, his eyes wide open. His head hurt momentarily as he put his left hand to his head, staring completyly dumfounded at the knight. His mind was trying futilily to compute how the knight in a heavy suit of armor was now walking on the CEILING without any assistance. At a loss for words, and unable to think for the moment he chose to just strike now.

Seeing as how the knight was slowly approaching him, he holstered his hammer and leapt from the light, coming straight for the knight! His momentum would be further increased as he channeled the shield's energy to the front, intent on seeing just how strong that armor was!

[Shield Ability: Homing Charge]

He would attempt to slam the knight hard enough to break his grip on the ceiling, and then find a way to safely make it to the ground below.

Actions: 1) Lost due to utter shock. 2) Homing charge at ceiling mounted Relic.

Shield stock same as previous round, stock recharge 3/4.

RE: Pursuit in the Mystic Mansion! Tutley vs Relic
Relic did nothing to stop the turtle from violently slamming into him. The homing attack impacted his chest piece, one of the strongest parts of his armor. Completely spread through out the surface, it did minor damage to the suit. It did how ever dislodge the knight from the ceiling.

Relic would have been surprised if he had remained on the ceiling. A mere moment after the impact Relic was already twisting his body mid air. His entire right arm began to spark and frenzy with the coal/crimson energy. Throwing his arm in a monstrous swing directly away from Tutley he let loose an immensely powerful breaker. He had put so much power into it, the crimson crescent barely moved from arc Relic had formed it.

Relic Drake had purposely aimed away from the mid air turtle. The recoil from the move damage his armor far more then Tutley's homing attack. Leaving a visible dented line up the right side of the knight. The recoil also sent the knight backwards, towards the turtle. The knight spun clock wise in the air, having blasted his right side. Extending his left gauntlet to capture the turtle in mid air.

The entire process took just over 5 seconds to complete.

RE: Pursuit in the Mystic Mansion! Tutley vs Relic
The sound of Tutley crashing into the suit's chestplate echoed throughout the room, the turtle bouncing off the plate, towards the ground below. A pair of white lights would glint from inside the shell as he twirled the front opening of the shell to face the knight, Tutley taking a look to see the results of his attack. Much to his surprise, the knight had used some sort of energy blast to push himself towards his position, much like how his own attack worked!

He raised a proverbial brow from inside his shell. "Is this guy learning from how I use my shields?", he pondered as the flames roared up once more, lurching fowards to crash into the knight again. He figured if he got caught, he could turn up the heat on the knight inside that tin suit. He would have to be careful if he bounced off the knight; the ground was coming up fast!

RE: Pursuit in the Mystic Mansion! Tutley vs Relic
Relic didn't have much of a choice for taking an action after he had missed his grab attempt. Nor could he dodge mid air, or even maneuver.
once again the sound of Tutley smashing into Relic's armor resonated through out the hall.

The knight was thrown slightly back letting out a minor grunt. His gigantic body crashed into the ground. The metal plates rattling about as his body slid to a stop. Almost instantly he was getting back on his feet. Though this time the turtle had done much more damage to his weakened armor. A piece from his right shoulder never leaving the ground as he rose.

RE: Pursuit in the Mystic Mansion! Tutley vs Relic
Tutley would skip along the ground twice as he spun about inside his shell, unable to come to a complete stop after landing on the ground. Without noticing it, he hit some manner of switch from behind, the room taking on a bright glow. When he could see again, he noticed that he was falling... UP?! With a yell as he pulled his limbs out from the shell, he landed uneasily atop the ceiling. "Just what's up with this place?", he would ask aloud, looking as he took note of a door on the ceiling. It was slammed shut for now, but maybe with enough time he could knock it open. This was around the point he would notice the ghosts. A pair of errie, flaming figures with pumpkin heads stood by the door, cackling as they pointed to the knight. Currently not as easily phazed due to the knight presently trying to hospitialize him or worse; he tried to figure out what they wanted. It seemed to him that that would only open the doors if he continued to fight the knight for their amusement.

RE: Pursuit in the Mystic Mansion! Tutley vs Relic
Suddenly the knight felt his sense of down and up switch. His body slowly lifted off the ground before gaining speed towards the ceiling. Extending his arms up, Relic 'landed' on his hands. Curving his body as he fell towards the turtle, the large knight completed the last half of a roll.
Once on his feet he continued what only could be described as a march towards Tutely. Removing the large shield off his back, he readied it in his right arm.

[Indeedy!]

Tutley would momentarily observe the marching knight, thinking of a suitable manner of attack. He simulated performing a homing charge in his head, only to end up getting deflected by that shield. With a somewhat perplexed look on his face as to how to approach the knight he charged in, hammer raised as he leaned over somewhat. He attempted a spin strike with his hammer, aiming at the shield intentionally to test its mettle, and the knight's grip.

RE: Pursuit in the Mystic Mansion! Tutley vs Relic
Relic took notice of the large hammer that was bearing down on him. Coming from the opposite way, Relic challenged Tutley's strike with his own. Both had a hefty weapon in their possession, the turtle had momentum in his favor while the larger knight had sheer brute strength.
With shield firmly in his grip, the two weapons impacted each other with a earth shattering crack. The knight sliding back and seemed to buckle at first, but once Tutley's momentum had been dispersed, the knight began moving forward once again. Thrusting his shield to the side, he brought his claws down to slash the turtle.

RE: Pursuit in the Mystic Mansion! Tutley vs Relic
Tutley grit his beak as his weapon collided with Relic's, getting a satisfing crack as their weapons clashed. He found himself slipping back a little as his momentum carried through, left open as he attemps to pull his weapon back to the ready.

(-Fire Shield)

"GAH!", he exclaimed as the claws hit home...technically. Tutley found himself hurled backwards a few feet as the shield fell from the slash, the flames giving out and sending him crashing into one of the nearby ceiling lights. Spawled out, he rubbed his head as he attempted to quickly get to his feet.

Drake hopped forward after seeing the turtle get sent backwards. The landed with a crash, having closed half the gap with the small leap. Raising his shield into the air, once again his body began resonating with the crimson energy.
