RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
The echidna had sucessfully irked the turtle into a full on rage. A vein was visable atop his forehead immediatly after that comment, the shield's aura crackling a bit in respose as his jet boots whirred to life as he jumped. It appeared that he intended to clash weapons with his opponent, the turtle dropping short though as he slammed his hammer down on the ground near the geomancer, forming a crater on the ground where he struck. A small cloud of dust would be hurled up into the air from the impact, the strike a feint of sorts. Soon after impact the shield shrank once more as it fires another bolt of energy towards his opponent from the lower right corner.

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Terrador snickered at the sight of the angered turtle. He always enjoyed bringing an opponente's anger up. Using rage in a battle would most likely cuase mistakes. As Tutley leaped into the air with his boots, the Geomancer figured this was one of them. Under normal conditions, that hammer would destroy his staff, but with Terrador's formidable strength, he was ready to overpower him and capitilize the situation.
Things ultimately went against his favor. He held his staff out ready to deflect the blow. He soon found himself off balance and his vision hindered. "What the hell?" he questioned. Not even a second after those words and an arrow of energy struck him. He cringed his body up, expecting a decent amount of pain pain, but soon found almost none. "Was that your attempt at an attack?" he asked glancing over at Tutley as the smoke cleared. He glared at him confused and slightly disappointed.Surely he thought his foe was stronger. Perhaps there was more to that beam of energy then thought. |

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Tutley had a victorious grin as the bolt of energy hit the echidna, dark energy crackling around his foe for a moment before disapating. Confident from the fact it hit home, and that outsmarted his foe leveled his head a bit. He would stretch his unarmed hand out to the echidna, pointing with a smirk.
"Pop Quiz: What happens when you infuse a nature mage with dark magic when their unable to make use of it?", he would ask as a hammer materialized in his hand. It was about half the size of his usual hammer, the hammerhead blue with the image of various bubbles adorning it. He would sling the hammer left, then right before flinging it at his opponent, aiming just a bit to the left. [Shield Strike- Dragon Splash] The hammer would "pop", so to speak on content on contact with Terrador or a surface, releasing a torrent of chilling water; said water that had a chance of inducing a mage's worst nightmare, the flu. RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Terrador glared at the turtle as he spoke. Feeling the effects shortly afterwards, he glanced at the markings on his palms, he noticed they began to fade. Altough it wasn't completely drained, his kinetic power already used more than enough of his energy. A smirk of confidense fixed on the Geomancer's muzzle as he knew he could hold his own with hand-to-hand combat.
This soon disipated as the new hammer formed from Tutley's hand. He knew he could not just simply deflect that thing and he had to evade it. Without any hesitation, he leapt backwards. Landing on his hands, he pushed up to propel himself even further back. He preformed to of these flips before coming to a stop. He was at a fairly large distance, but the hammer managed to almost reach him and popped right on the ground in front of him. He felt the chill from where he stood and it made his entire body shiver. "You're just full of surprises, huh turtle?" he called out to Tutley. Terrador's options were limited at this point. Weilding his staff required Geokinetic energy and any of that was outta the question. He truely had to rely on his fists. |

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Tutley snapped his fingers in dissapointment as the hammer missed just barely. Perhaps he had given the nature of the attack away by not throwing it directly at him. He wasn't too fazed though- he was still working out the kinks of using his toolbox of talants anyway, and screwups and miscalculations were bound to happen. He still felt he had the edge at the moment anyway. "Oh, I'm just getting started!", he would shout back as his backpack's beeping quieted somewhat, a yellow buildup of yellow energy visable around the pack before it was drawn in. His reserve of charges was beginning to rebuild, each stored charge helping to gather the next one.
He hoisted his hammer up higher, clutching it tight as he charges forwards to close the gap between them. "Nimble, arn'tcha?!", he would yell out as he aimed a horizontal swing at the echidna, moving in closer since he felt he'd have fewer surprises to deal with at the moment. RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
"The fun has only began." he told the turlte as he drew near. Without his staff or Geokinetic attacks, Tutley would find Terrador much more acrobatic than he presumed. Terrador crouched slightly, facing his side to his foe and took a mighty leap as the turtle swung his hammer. He induced a sort of sideways flip. He felt his dreadlock-like quills struck by the blow, indicating a second less and he would've been screwed. Tutley would perhaps feel the dreadlocks on the top of his head as the Geomancer barely leaped over him.
Landing perfectly on the ground, his left foot in front of his right, Terrador quickly regained balance, then without even turning around, took a step back with his left foot and sent a swift and mighty left elbow aiming for the nape of his neck. Since he wasn't looking, the probability of hitting his desired spot was hindered. |

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Tutley's eyes widened as the echidna managed a front flip over him in slow motion from the turtle's perception as he leaned into the swing. He was caught throughly off guard, thoughs of how to prevent being struck from behind flying through his head. But he couldn't think of anything! "He's too fast for me to react!", his mind screamed. He was going to lose that shield if he took a direct hit. he didn't want that, as it would leave him with far fewer options. So gritting his beak firmly, he would try to turn round, shouting "STOCKPILE!" as loud as he could. The shield would quickly receed and settle round the turtle's right arm, the terrapin's right cheek meeting the echidna's elbow sending him to the ground a good foot or two away. He had purposly taken the blow to savage his remaining shield. He landed on his front, his shell... fractured? Tutley was more than a bit shaken, but still concious. The turtle would grunt out angrily as he gripped the dirt ground, the cracks in the shell spreading, it taking on a bright green glow as it shattered, the energy channeled into the turtle.
[Shell Smash- Caution ] (Charges +2 ---> 3) Suddenly, the sharp pain in his cheek would dull a little, energy flooding into his body. The influx of energy was similar to a car being jumpstarted, a flood of power coming out of nowhere, coarsing throughout his body bringing a giddy look of joy to his face. He rarely had a reason to use his shell in this manner, but he had to admit; he LOVED the tidal surge of energy he got from it when he was pressed to use it! With a noticible spike in the turtle's magical presence, and no longer being weighed down by his heavy shell it was pretty clear what the technique just did. The turtle was aiming to take Terrador down in the next few moves, or go down in a blaze of glory trying! Shield Stock: lDl Rapid Recharge 1/4 Status Update: Tutley has essentially swapped his defense stat with his speed and power stats! While very powerful in this state, a well aimed blow will do a ton of damage, potentially one shotting him. Everyone's favorite hyperactive turtle from the future! RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Tutley's word's confused the echidna as his elbow struck his cheek. That also brought confusion as he was mostly expecting to smash the shell. He faced his opponent and watched him power up. It didn't worry him at the least. This would prove to be more of a challange and he was ready for it. He even felt his Geokinetic energies slowly restoring to their fullest.
"Now I assume things get serious. It's about time." he said with a cocky grin. Even if the turtle did manage to overpower him, there was one trick still left of the Geomancer's sleeve. He assumed his fighting stance and glared deeply at him. His expression shifted rapidly to complete seriousness. |

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Tutley jumped to his feet in response to Terrador's question without using his boots, turning round as he holds his hammer in both hands. He was sweating bullets as he prepared to charge, knowing a single mistep could spell the end of this match, for either side. He would charge in, letting out a loud shout as he jumped. He flipped forwards in the air twice, intending to bring his hammer down in front of the echidna. From there, he would follow it up with a shoulder charge if he managed to quake the ground from the impact with his hammer sucessfully.

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
With his Geokinesis disabled for the time being, Terrador relied mainly defense. Every move the turtle made, the Geomancer watched and looked for any weaknesses. Tutley leaped high into the air and the echidna prepared himself. He saw his foe had cut it short and swung the hammer on the ground.
Feeling the effects of the quake, Terrador quickly crouched to avoid losing balance. As Tutley moved in with a shoulder smash, Terrador laid on his back and attempted a sweeping kick, hoping to knock him over. |
