RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
The headache was still there, but it was approaching levels where he could think straight. "Your not bad yourself!", he retorted as he held his hands out in front of him, hammer holstered. He could use a moment to think; and he had just the solution.
[Burning Passion, Fire Shield!] Charge Count: 5---> 3 A pair of downward swirling vortex of flames would surround the turtle as he took on a footballers stance, placing his right hand on the ground, ready to intercept the echidna. At the very least he considered the shield itself to look intimidating, knowing the flames in it's standard state wouldn't flat out burn or incinerate on contact. Charge count to 4 at end of round. Shield Stock: lFl (active) lWAl Everyone's favorite hyperactive turtle from the future! Current Shield Set: Blast, Fire, Water, Lightning, Light |

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
The flames surfacing from the turtle cuased little hesitance. Terrador was rather interested about how all this worked. The only thing he knew is that it came from that backpack. With the flames, he had to take a different approach. He dropped his weapon yet again and induced the same roll as before, his Rock Armor formed around him for protection from the fire. He continued his charge as he finished the roll, taking off full speed.
With Tutley's stance, this would mimic that of two football players. Terrador simply attemtped to ram into him and hopefully overpower him. |

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Tutley would grin widely as Terrador armored up and continued his charge. He would accept the challenge, the flames from the shield amplifing and moving to the front as he breaks from his pose.
[Shield Ability: Homing Charge] He would try to stay as low as possible as he came to meet Terrador head-on. A loud crack would be heard as the shield came in contact with the rock armor, Tutley's arms wrapped around the suit of armor. He grunted loudly, shuffling his feet forwards as fast as he can to try and push back the armor or perhaps even break through it! With the shield the way it was now, things might be getting a little... hot for the echinda on the inside of that suit. Actions: 1) Break from defensive stance to charge Terrador with Flame charge. 2) Collide into rock armor, clashing the moves tougether. RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Terrador crashed into him wondering if he would regret challenging the ability of the sheild. The rocks at his feet merged with the ground, rooting him to that spot. The Rock Armor protected him for the most part, but as chunks broke off, this defense began to subside.
Sweat trickled his forehead and his vision began to feel a bit hazy as he glared deeply into the turtle's eyes. Not being able to take anymore of this heat, the Geomancer let out a scream as he placed his rock covered hands on the sheild and pushed back with a majority of the strength in his formidable arms. He hands were placed rather low, around where the turtle's mid-section would be if the sheild wasn't between them. It appeared as if he was attempting to hoist him over his head! |

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Tutley's eyes would lock with Terrador's in a glare as he tries his best to blast off the echidnas armor with his shield. The flames would spread behind the armor as he continued to push, chunks flinging off the armored suit over time. It would seem that he had the upper hand even though he wasn't moving the suit; as being close to the shield in general was taking its toll on the armored geomancer. The blaze behind the armor would begin to dull out though as the geomancer let out a sprited shout, using his formidable strength to grip the barrier itself! Unfortunatly for the turtle, herculean feats of strength wern't a part of his playbook without the hammer and couldn't maintain standing in place for long. He would skid back somewhat, finding himself in danger of being lifted up; but a moment of sheer brillance turned this into a potential advantage!
Tutley would place his boots on the chest section of Terrador's armor, cutting them on full blaze as he pushes back on the suit! He wanted to startle him out his grip, or perhaps even blow off a chunk of the suit off and hit directly. This little manuver would cost him though, the sound of his boots powering down for a momentary recharge meant he wouldn't be performing any major acrobatic feats the way he was now. He gritted his beak as he continued to push, knowing he might have to resort to THAT. Shield Stock: lFl (Active) lWFl Recharge 2/4, jet boots inoperable for next 2 rounds. RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Terrador's armor was nearly broken off soon after his attempt to hoist the turtle up. His once russet fur began to burn. Various parts of his body lost fur, mainly his arms, had exposed pink skin with charred fur around it. Tutley's jet boots didn't help him any and that cuased the remainder of his chest armor to break off. The echidna had the turtle high enough, and with another mighty yell, he hoisted him over his head and gave him a mighty throw. The turtle would be luanched in an arch like someone was throwing a giant ball. With as much force he applied, Tutley would find himself fllying rather far.
Doing so almost cuased him to stumble over, his body sizzling from the heat. He arched forward slightly and rested his hands on his knees. Hopefully, that would give him some time to catch his breath. That took alot of energy out of him and he needed time to recuperate. |

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Tutley's eyes would be bugged out as he was hoisted overhead, and in turn hurled above the treetops, a loud "WHOAAA!", echoing throughout the battlefield. He would find himself on his "back" as he went careening through the landscape, soaring up much like a volleyball that was served WAY too hard.
Pulling a few stray leaves off from his face, he would watch as the clearing he was formally in get further and further away, still moving away from the ground. As he watched the scenery fly by, he found himself rather impressed with the feat of strength his opponent had pulled off, even with those burns on his arms. Looking down to the ground, thoughts would fly through his head as to how to land safely on the ground. Of all the possible types of damage a shield can reject for him, fall damage was not one of them. He would give his backpack two quick taps as he begins to head back towards the ground now, a pair of rotor blades springing from the top of his backpack. They would begin to spin rapidly, slowing his fall which was not very graceful, Tutley stumbling back as his feet hit the ground. He had braced his fall a little late, sending him stumbling backwards into a nearby rock. He hit his head rather hard on it, causing the shield to kick in. He didn't feel pain in that brief instant, but he had a rather grim and annoyed look on his face as he was suddenly lurched to the side by the shield rejecting the damage, his arms and legs outstretched as he hits the ground. The flames sputtered out, the turtle getting to his feet to dust himself off. He was a little ticked that he had just been chucked like a certain other shell bearer in one of the games he had played before, clenching his right fist as he holds it in front of himself. Oh... he was going to have a word with that echindna when he saw him again. The backpack let out the chant as he focused... [Empowering Shadow, Dark Shield!] 3 ---> 0 A transparent, dark emcompasing aura surrounded the turtle, the unstable energy of the shield jutting out in various directions. He would stretch for a moment as the shield's energy empowered him slightly, gripping his hammer as he sets off in Terrador's general direction. He would take no more than three steps though before a yellow energy surrounding his backpack materialized, and then thusly popped with a loud tinging sound. He just realized his momentary lapse in judgement caused his remaining reserve of barrier energy to zero out. He facepalmed as the a circular slot appeared in the rear of the backpack, a light cutting on as it began to visably pull energy into the backpack. He would continue on his way, all the while his backpack letting out an annoying beeping sound as it recharged. Shield Stock: lDl lWAl Status: Dark Shield: +10% atk, Rapid Recharge: Basic shields cannot be formed until shield stock is at 3. Recharge 1/5, Malfunction: jet boots down one more turn. RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Terrador watched the trutle fly almost out of viosion. Surely he didn't wish to fling him that hard. although, he couldv'e lost contol of his own power for a breif second considering how agonizing those flames were.
From his position, he suddenly felt a huge surge of energy from the direction of Tutely. He let out a slight nervous chuckle as he hoped that wasn;t him. It than seemed to vanish from nowhere. Than the beeping filled his ears from the distance. Soon the turtle popped into veiw not looking too happy. He would wait for him to clear the gap. He needed as much time as he could get. Thankfully his breathing returned to its normal steady pace and he placed all attention away from the burning pain in his body. |

RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
The terrapin was only growing more annoyed the further he walked, so he had a full head of steam by the time he had returned from where he was hurled from. The fact that the current shield he was using slightly tampered with his emotions didn't help either. He had a somewhat sadistic grin on his face, lightly tapping his right hand with his hammerhead as he walked casually towards the echidna. It would appear that he meant buisness this time. "So you think I'm a basketball, do you?!", he would ask as he began to break into a run. This would prove to be a rather amusing sight though, as his run was less than half the speed than he was moving at before.
Tutley would point at the echindna with a growl of sorts, shield energy starting to crackle as a single arrow of energy was flung from the shield, causing the shield to shrink slightly in overall size. The arrow wouldn't go through on impact, but it had the potential to cause problems... much bigger ones. [Shield Ability: Spellbreak] Everyone's favorite hyperactive turtle from the future! RE: Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador
Terrador watched the angry turtle approach him.
"Only the finest of one." he said with a smug grin in a mocking tone. He wasn't antagonized at the least and was rather excited to see what new abilities he would bring out on this rage. Boy did he get what he wanted as an arrow of energy was shot straight at him. Thinking quick on his feet, he pointed a palm over to his nearby staff. With a small surge of Geokinetic energy, the thing was brought to him. Quickly grasoing it in both hands, he held it out vertically just in time to aborb the bolt of energy. "Is that all you got?" he teased with a smirk, pointing at the turtle with the tip of his staff. |
