Sunset Showdown! Tutley vs Terrador

The turtle had seen Terrador flip out of his armor at the last second, but couldn't act on it... or could he? As he came down on the armor, the upper half would be blown off since it had become hollow in the middle, a few rocks hopefully flying in Terrador's direction. He would thrust his right hand in front of him in a pose as his other hand inserts a program chip into the backpack.

An odd sound would be heard as the shield was deployed, a pulsing golden sphere of energy surrounding the turtle. "Not bad. Let's see how you handle this!" He would break into a run, approaching the echidna . Holstering his hammer he would jump once again, tucking into his shell.

The shield would directly pull Tutley in towards Terrador's general position like a magnet, shifting a little to the left or right. It wasn't precise, but the shield did offer a higher chance of slamming home.

Upon hitting the ground, Terrador rolled backwards onto his feet. As a couple rocks approached him, a quick barrage of fists reduced them to sand. His attention was brought onto Tutley. The sound definatly alerted him and he braced himself for anything. The shell came flying towards him and he sent a quick stomp to the ground. Within seconds, a wall of rock was positioned in front of him, hopefully deflecting the shell smash.

[/u]The rock wall did indeed reflect the blow, the turtle's shell hurled back in midair. Tutley emerged from his shell and landed on the ground, looking at the small crater he had formed at the point of impact. "Geez... this shields even denser than I thought?, he would comment to himself. From what he could tell from the echinda actions, he was one of those defensive types that used earth and soil to repel attacks. He would have to find a way to momentarily neutralize those defensive capabilities if he was to get a solid blow in. Then it hit him.

"Of corse!", he would say as he smacked his right fist onto his outstretched left, an idea bulb lighting up in his head. The turtle would outstretch both his arms, the backpack reciting another chant; one that might strike fear in his opponents heart.

The shield would form around his left arm, taking on the shape of a transparent bubble. He opted to try and save it for later, when he sees an opening in his foe's defenses. He would look to the wall, pondering his next move. After all, he couldn't see exactly what the echidna was up to behind it. He would slowly circle around, his hammer raised in a defensive stance as ready for the unexpected as he thought he could be.

Terrador listened carefully behind the wall. The sound of the crashing and the turtle's backpack chanting brought a feeling of uneasiness. He than felt the vibrations in the earth from Tutley's footsteps. Instead of confronting him head on, he hurled the wall at his rival. The echidna assumed he had some sort of shelid on him and the wall was just supposed to just distract him. For the split second he saw Tutley, he cuaght sight of the bubble around his arm. This would definately hinder his Geokinesis.

With that hammer of his, Terrador couldn't get too close. He searched the area for his staff, which was lying behind Tutley where he dropped it last. An idea formed in his mind. He would wait for the turtle to recuperate from the wall and make his approach

The turtle was still trying to creep around the wall with his guard raised, so when it suddenly came his way he was ready. Manipulating the foot controls to his boots, he would leap high into the air, over the wall. As he looked down though, he would notice his foe was no longer behind it!

Landing on the ground he'd hastily look around, closing his eyes as he slams his hands tougether.

[Shield Mix- Waterfall Shield: Rank 4 support shield.]

Shield Ability: Water Charge: Tutley charges a weapon, or body area with the element of water, changing its attack nature and boosting the damage potential by 10%.

Shield Strike- Dragon Splash: The shield takes on the form of a throwing hammer in Tutley's other hand, the hammerhead an aqua blue with the image of bubbles decorating it. The hammer is thrown, creating a 3X3 foot splash of chilling water on contact with a surface. Can be dodged by running away from the hammer. May inflict the flu status. Magically induced flu rapidly progresses at the rate of one day per turn, causing a steady loss of hp over time, and a 20% decrease in magical efficency.

The shield took on the form of a torrent of water running down Tutley's left arm, stored away for the right moment. He would raise his hammer up as he looked about for the wily echinda...

Actions: 1) Jump over rock wall. 2) Form mix shield.

[Terrador Bellator]

Terrador had seen him power up his water based attack and took a spot behind a tree. That would not go so well with him. His strongest rock attacks would reduce to useless mud. He exchanged glances between the turtle and the rock staff behind him. He then stepped out in plain veiw, facing his open palms at his staff. To Tutley, this may appear as a earth-based attack, however, the staff attained a green glow and floated into the air. It drifted towards the turlte as Terrador controled it remotely. He only had time to attempt a downward strike aiming for the top of his head.

Tutley was still unable to spot where his opponent had hidden, gritting his beak. He soon turned round completly, finally making eye contact with Terrador as he comes out into the open. "Aha!", he exclaimed, taking on a stance facing the echidna. He would grip his hammer tight as the echinda prepared some form of spell, keeping eye contact with him. This would prove to be a bad error in judgement, as the staff Terrador was manipulating out the corner of his line of sight was promptly launched in his direction instead of the ground in front of him. "What th-", the turtle would attempt to shout out, cut off as the staff clubbed him atop the head, sending him stumbling backwards.

Tutley saw stars circleing above his head as he began stumbling about with a massive headache. He was out of comission for the moment, working on trying to remember what just hit him.

Actions: 1) Identify Terrador's location. 2) Lost due to becoming dizzied.

Terrador smiled smugly with satisfaction.

"Now's my chance." he told himself. He dashed at the turtle full speed and took a mighty leap high into the air, attepting a flying cresent kick towards the only area he could, straight to the turtle's face

Tutley's vision would slowly return to normal, a bit late though as it revealed the two Terradors he was looking at was actually one in the air, and rapidly approaching his face. With a loud shriek, he would perform the primary instinctual response his species had and that was hide! His head would duck inside his shell, effeciantly hiding his head and cap. Being in this position standing up did make him unable to perform a decent counter-attack, and he dare not try a spin while recovering from the earlier blow. He would jump backwards, sticking his head back out. His hammer was only in his right hand now, the turtle focused more on getting his bearings straight than going on the offensive.

Confusment enveloped the echidna as he kicked nothing but air. He landed on his feet as the turtle jumped backwards and watched him carefully. He walked towards the turtle, his staff orbiting around him.

"You're pretty good. I must admit, I underestimated you." he pointed out. He placed both hands firmly on his weapon as he dashed at his opponent.
