RE: The Road to Pittsdam
The turtle on the other hand was more than eager to teach these punks a lesson. He knew that of all the people in the resturant; he stood out most as the guy with a hammer strapped to his pack. He knew sooner or later, one of them would take notice and cause trouble for him anyway. He would lean back, taking a sip of orange juice as he holds his other hand out under the table, his chao quietly sneaking into his hand.
[Sure, if you needs a hand I can step in. Though I might be just as, or even more corny. ]

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Topaz grabbed the gun from Cornelius as she looked straight at him. All the while carefully putting in the clips from her pockets.
“What’s the plan, then?” Cornelius took a drink, still plenty of the alcohol at the bottom, though the majority of it was gone. He set the bottle on the table lightly as a smirked creep on his face. It was the kind of smirk that said ‘Oh yeah, I’m awesome’; a look Topaz swore she’d seen on Robotnik’s face plenty of times. It was somewhat creepy to see. “I’ll be causing A distraction.” “Distraction? What do you mean by-” He wouldn’t answer, because the next thing he did was stand up out of his chair, grabbing the neck of the bottle with his right hand. He turned around, with his smirk off and a possible dopy smile on his face. But it wasn’t a straight forward walk, instead he seemed to stammer; his body hunched over like it was losing control or something. The bear, who over-towered Cornelius, saw him staggering over when he was about halfway to them. He must have thought he was drunk or something as he the others didn’t seem to mind; or weren’t paying any attention. The first thing Cornelius did was tap the bear on his shoulder, somewhat flimsily. Looking a little annoyed, he turned to face him. If the whole action was shown in slow motion, you could see the moment when the bear’s eyes acknowledged what was happening as they got huge. Because the bottle in Cornelius’s hand was only a few inches away from his face. Cornelius completely glassed the bear, his face getting severally cut on his left side and yelled in pain from the sting of the achohal. “The Hell!?” All the other members soon turned they’re attention towards him looking surprised. The Wesal in respone turned his gun away from the bartender (who took the chance to duck) and towards Nelius. But because he could shoot Topaz stood up and pulled the gun and shot two times. While she missed, the first one managed to surprise the Weseal and the second made him go for cover. The Rest of the members began to pull out they’re own weapons respectively. One of the human’s had a gun; but his fingers were fumbling everytime he tried to reach for it. Another one of the humans pulled out some brass knuckles. And the lizard pulled out a somewhat large knife. |

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
With all the events happening, the wolfbat could not just simply sit back and hope no harm would come his way. Sure he was a bit anticipated, but this didn't matter at the moment. Quickly getting out of his seat, he took a spot next to Nel.
Facing the group of thugs, Twilight let out a gust of wind with quick flap of his wings. This would most likely to knock the off balance where the others could perhaps capitilize this. |

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Tutley scrateched his forehead, looking off to the side from Nel's smirk. He had seen that grin somewhere before; and far too often. As the bear got blindsided with the bottle, Tutley would promptly get to his feet atop the chair, slinging his buddy at the human holding the gun. Last thing he needed was someone to get shot while he was enjoying a brawl, after all. The chao would nimbly flip through the air in a ball three times, before outstretching his right foot in a sprited yell as he's launched towards the human. Though chao are normally just cute and cuddly creatures, if trained to fight they can be rather fierce enemies. Nel's dad of all people probably knows better than anyone, having faced a certain troublesome rabbit's partner time to time.
Twilight's air gust only further propelled the chao fowards, hurling through the air like a bullet. Tutley would hop over his seat, running into the fray. He would briefly turn back to Topaz, shouting out. "Keep that weasel pinned down!" Everyone's favorite hyperactive turtle from the future! Current Shield Set: Blast, Fire, Water, Lightning, Light |

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
The bear (for the moment) was knocked down and dealing with being glassed.
The human hand finally managed to pull out the gun but not before getting a foot to the face by the chao ( I couldn’t resist). The lizard was having a hard time with the wind, but the other human (being much bigger and as a result heavier) was only a minor in convince as he bolted towards the wolfbat. He would soon be intercepted though as Nel ran out in front of Twilight. The other human was preparing to take an upper hit. But instead as soon as Nel got close he went down low and kicked the one leg that was still grounded while the man was running. Which caused the human (with a shocked expression) to land face first on the ground. Meanwhile, as the weasel took cover with a overturned table; he would occasional try to peep over. Until Topaz shot somewhere near him in which he made himself duck again. The Weasel cursed under his breath as he thought of what to do. (How am I doing so far guys? Somewhat of an easy fight so far; but hey, it’s my first time.) |

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Twilight was quick to brace himself for the man who dwarfed him in size. He wasn't even sure what he was gonna do and was happy to see that Nel stepped in. For the son of an overwight doctor, this guy was a pretty badass fighter.
"Thanks." he told Nel as he looked around to see what he can do. (You're doing alright, better than how I'd do LoL) |

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
[Boot to the head refrence, eh? Your doin' fine.]
The chao would dive down to deliver a spin kick to the human's face as he reeled from the blow to ensure that the gunman was down and out of the fight. As his owner told him time to time about being on duty... "It's always important to make sure you capture at least one person in a gang or group commiting a crime, to get information. You can never know how deep a simple crime can actually run at times.". He was a pretty clever chao, seeing as how he had already lived through one of his lifetimes. Tutley drew his hammer as he reached the skirmish zone, pointing it to the lizard with a smirk. "You wanna try taking me on with that butter knife? I suggest you run, and never return to this town again. Otherwise I can't be held responsible for what I might do to you with a REAL weapon.", he would say as he took on a battle stance, holding his hammer in front of his body with both hands. Part of his intimidating threat was not wanting to hospitialize the guy with his weapon, the other wanting to get him out the picture before that bear gathered his marbles... he had a bad feeling emenating from the ursine's direction. RE: The Road to Pittsdam
With wide eyes the lizard contemplated Tutely’s words. He looked over towards the side where he saw Twilight and Nelius before looking back at Tutley. He promptly dropped his weapon.
“Screw this!” Seeing as he was out-numbered and out-skilled, the thug ran away. His weasel friend who was still in cover noticed the lizard going for the door. “HEY!!! GET BACK HERE, COWARD!!!” He yelled out angrily. The lizard would stop as he got to the entrance, turning around to face the group. He pointed a finger at them as he shouted. “YOU AIN’T SEE THE LAST OF US!” Before running out of the place. “Scale-y bastard!!” The Weasel muttered under his breath as he hastily loaded his gun. “….Well, that was a disappointment.” Cornelius said dully as he stood up; hunching over as he placed his hands in his pockets. Just as he did the hulking figure of the bear stood up, directly behind Cornelius with a particular rage-filled hate in his eyes. Nel looked slowly to the side to acknowledge that he was still up. Topaz would have taken the opportunity to shoot if not for the weasel behind the table that quickly poked his head over the left side and attempted to shoot her. He missed, though he was close as his bullets broke the window. She immediately shot two fires back to get the weasel back into cover. “You got up?” Nel began off, sounding offended. “The nerve…” “I’M GONNA-” Before the bear could spew his vengeful words, Nel took no time to back-kick the bear to the cut; warranting another shocked expression on the bear’s face. He followed up by slipping his hands out of his pockets while the bear was caught off guard and brought a powerful punch straight at the middle of the bear’s chests. This blow took the bear down for the count as he feel over. “I swear, if you get back up, I’LL KILL YA!” Nel shouted at the unconious bear as he pointed a finger at him. Clearly, he was expecting the bear to stay down after being glassed in the face. |

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Twilight watched the turtle leave and knew he would bring more thugs and even though he knew the group could handle themselves, he wanted to be safe. As Nel tookthe bear down and Topaz kept the weasel down in cover, the wolfbat took off full speed with a mighty flap of his wings, creating another gust of wind as he exited the bar.
If he were to catch sight of the lizard, he would ram the low-life. With the speed he was going, it would bring a fair amount of damage, even for the hybrid. |

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Tutley smirked as the lizard turned tail and fled. It was what he wanted really. Judging from what the lizard was saying, there were more of them somewhere else. If no one came back, they would send others to investigate later anyway. This way he could track the lizard back to their hideout if the others okayed it and shut down the problem at the sorce. He figured they could handle a fight pretty well, and wouldn't mind helping out the villagers. Going in a group was a lot safer as well.
"Hey, wait a sec-", he would shout out as Twilight chased after the lizard. "CRAP!", he would shout out as he pulled a hose out the side of his backpack, energy charging up as it fires a surge of green energy in Twilight's direction as he sped out the inn. [Surefire Protection!, Classic Shield!] 9---> 8 He hoped it would catch up and deploy around the wolfbat, giving him a little protection as he charges off on his own. He didn't know if there were more of them outside waiting on the others after all. He would turn back as he heard a loud series of steps as the bear got to his feet. "NEL' BEHIND Y-", he would blurt out as he pointed behind him to try to warn him, but Cornelius wound up taking the ursine out before Tutley could even finish his sentance. The turtle had a slightly agape look on his face. "Where... did you learn how to move so fast?!", he would ask, utterly dumbfounded. The chao would rise up from the counter, giving an "OK" sign with a smile that the gun toting human from before had been subdued. That just left the weasel...
