RE: The Road to Pittsdam
(Umm, another skip? If you protest I can always change this post. I just figured we’d skip ordering and what not, and whenever the waiter comes by You can just describe what you guy’s character’s got. Kk?)

Topaz sat near the widows as soft light came through. The room looked much like the last one, but painted with a cream color and a fairly large room. She rested her elbows on the table and held her hands together as she looked over toward Tutley.

“I didn’t say this before, but I’m with G.U.N. special forces too.” She started off, “I guess you could say I was…confused. After all, I hadn’t dealt with many of Sonic’s kind before.”

She may have sounded a tad bit awkward. Cornelius, was sitting at the far end of the tape facing the wall fell slightest. Much like before, he seemed to be deep in thought. But it wasn’t going to last very long.

“And I know for a fact that G.U.N. got completely obliterated over thirty five years ago. So how anyone can still be from them doesn’t make much sense to me.”

( I have no objections Big Grin )

Twilight sat across from 'Nelius and listened to their conversation. His hands were folded with his arms resting on the table. He was definately familier with G.U.N. It was that military orginization that came to attack his "other self" to defend their city. So many soliders died at his hands and he felt terrible about that. His ears breifly lowered just at the very thought of it.

"G.U.N exsisted in my timeline and they were a strong orginization." He pointed out

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Tutley was working on his laptop, entering data for a simulation based on the stories he had heard. His fingers were a blur on the keyboard, the chao hovering above as it covered it's mouth, hmning to itself. "Well.. if your story, and Topaz's tales are true...", he would say as he glanced up at Nel', "Both of you most likely come from alternate timelines, or parellel dimensions. After seeing that working traffic light on the way here, I don't doubt the possibility of this at all. "

As he continued to type, he would ponder the best way to explain his own story. Seeing as how the earlier satalite search revealed no G.U.N. satalites left in orbit, he could spill the beans. "To boot, I'm what you'd call... an alien.", he would say looking half to Topaz, half at his screen. "Know of that planet that hovers over Never lake during some parts of the year? I'm from there- the future to be exact. Me and a few others were sent to my Earth to help it from threats that would wreck its future, since our fates are tied. For example... if Robotnik, or Eggman as he's referred to here were to fully conqur the Earth, he could have used the emeralds here, come back to our planet and destroy the past after stealing my planets relics; the seven time stones. He nearly suceeded once by sending a robot copy of my hero to the past to kill off every animal before they could evolve into anthro species or form civilization and then build a empire over its ruins. Luckily the real hedgehog made his way up there and stopped him.", he would say matter-of-factly. "In thanks we try to watch over the Earth and prevent anything... like this from happening. On that note me and my cohorts work with G.U.N. under the guise of spec. ops. Might explain why you haven't heard of me.. if your from my timeline that is. We even helped stopped an alien invasion of my timeline's Earth with Sonic, and a few of his friends help."

His laptop screen displayed a progress meter in the form of a cartoon Sonic running towards a goalpost, many... many lines of code rapidly scrolling down the screen below. he was working on hacking into a orbital satalite he had found with a low level of security. When the bar filled a few minutes later, the hog' would do a bit of a breakdance, before the satalite system interface popped up. He would raise a brow as he glanced at its name. He had never heard of the city of Soluna before, yet it was the area with the largest number of accessable satalites. "I'm in. I'll start a scan, but it'll take a couple minutes.", he'd say folding his arms, resting his chin on them. "The fact you two are from different timelines meant the shattering of that time stone I was persuing on Little Planet when the event happend wasn't coincidenal. Things may have wound up more messed up than I first though. There's one last transmission from my headquarters I'd like to share with you all before the com lines went dead and I was sent who knows where; its footage of the actual thing that caused this."

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Topaz looked at him a little confused. But she’d figured he was talking more about Sonic’s planet than her own. Which, was now gone from what she understand. Things seemed very surreal, like it was making her head whirl. But she’d have to go on it by now.

“Well, it’s a better explanation than any.” She replied, before she looked over towards Nel. “But I still don’t understand something.”

Cornelius wasn’t going to voice anything he was thinking of; it just seemed like a waste of time. But it did seem like the turtle was right; and it would explain how everything seemed so much better than what he was used too. But his attention was turned as soon as Topaz was looking directly at him.

He paused, his expression lighting a little at her curious look. “What?”

“-How come you sound like Dr. Robotnik? Not to mention I could go as far as saying you look somewhat similar.”

It was like a dark cloud was hovering over his head. As soon as she mentioned the name it was like lighting storm was starting. Considering how he felt about it, this was the only right response to it. He was clearly not very happy.

“What does it matter?” He snapped.

Twilight listened to the turtle's story. The whole talk of different dimesnions made his head hurt. Topaz's question to 'Nelius was a lot more simpler and was something he'd been wandering since he figured out the similarities in physical traits and ecspecially the voice. He was gonna add to the question, but his responce prevented such a thing. He prefered to sit back and have his questions answered.[/color]

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Tutley found his story soon side-tracked to a more intresting topic. He had to admit, his suspicious were nagging him more and more with each passing sentence Nel' spoke. He first assumed he was simply an expert impersonator, but now he was taking offense at being dubbed similar to the chubby red terror. He would look to Nel', his eye raised raised. His curiousity had gotton the better of him now, and couldn't hold it in any longer. "Are... you perhaps related to or are a Robotnik from another dimension?", he would ask following his line of logic, pointing to somewhat cranky human. "You sound just like the guy, and if you arn't impersonating him, maybe you ARE him. I mean, there has to be SOME reality in which the guy isn't mentally insane, evil, or fat. I'd believe just about anythings possible after my trek through the forest, being hurled into a fragmented corner of space and meeting a guy that thinks a laptop from the future is a fossil!"

Tutley may have said a bit too much, the chao covering his mouth with both hands as he looked to the him a bit surprised. "But I digress.", he would say as he raised his hands. "Your entitled to the benefit of the doubt to not be a conqurer with the potential sanity of a goldfish. Just... fill us in on why your so... similar to the guy we all love to hate?"

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Nel gave out an incredibly sour laugh. “-PffHA, I think the goldfish would slap you silly for that insult to its intelligence.”

“So? What is it then?” Topaz asked a little impatiently.

He paused, looking at her somewhat dully. If he was going to give something, he wanted something in return. “Give me the keys to the cuffs and I’ll say.”

The look on her face was probably just as aggravated and dull as his. Hesitantly, she reached into her pockets and grabbed the keys. She lightly threw them over to him in which he catched.

“Thanks.” He replied as he immediately began to take the cuffs off. Though before he could say anything else a meek looking white mouse came up to the table with a large plate. She looked a little weird at Nel as he was taking the cuffs off, but seemed to ignore it.

“ Here you go.”

She’d set everyone’s order in front of them before going off.

‘Finally.’ Nelius thought to himself as he looked at the steak sandwich and the Westvleteren bottle in front of him. Topaz also looked a little revealed with her chicken sandwich and fries. Since the lady left, Nel finally would answer the question.

“ I’m his son.” he replied with a very bitter tone as he picked up his sandwich. “I suppose illegitimate considered the bastard never got married…” He ended the sentence with a fairly large bite.

Twilight looked down at his food with glee. A well done steak and a bowl of assorted fruit lay in front of him. He usually preffered his meat medium rare, but recent occurances prevented such a thing. He glanced over at Nel as he made his conffesion.

"That would explain alot of things." he pointed out, completely oblivious to how bad that sounded. Instead of thinking about that, he placed a knife in his right hand and a fork in the other than began on his food.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Whereas the others had started with merely one plate, the waitress had set down three for the turtle. Mostly breakfast foods, and a lot of it was saturated in chocolate. Chocolate pancakes... chocolate covered sasague, plenty of meat and the occosional fruit and vegtable. He would rub his hands tougether after he pulls off his gloves, eager to dig in. Grabbing a fork, he would look to Nel'. "Note I said "sanity".", he would point in his direction with the fork. "The guys a genius to be able to build the things he does, but the fact that the eggman I knew had a thing for trying to take over the world to turn it into a desolate, slave run amusement park makes me consider that hes kinda... out there."

He would proceed to cut up a stack of pancakes, the chao hovering down to sit in a high-chair he had requested. It held out its arms with a eager smile on his face, repeating it once again after a few seconds. On the third time, the turtle would hand him a round, blue fruit from his backpack, the chao proceeding to ravenge it greedily, peel and all. "Have to say....", the turtle would go on after swallowing a mouthfull of the light, fluffy treat. "Thats a rough hand delt to you being the guy's son. I'm guessing your not one to follow in his footsteps though; you seem somewhat more... sane than he can be at times."

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
“I’ve always lived in his over-bloated shadow.” He replied bitterly, as he looked at his sandwich intensely. “ And Mother was always trying to make me to be him. Hell, she was doing exactly what –he- told her to do. If he wanted to have another him around, he should have made a freaking clone of himself. The bastard.”

Nel took another bite out of his sandwich somewhat viciously before taking a swig of the Westvleteren.

The look on Topaz’s face was a little weird, even when she bit into her own sandwich. To be honest, she was having a hard time comprehending that Robotnik could have children. Or the fact that he could have clones running around everywhere. It was just something she didn’t really want to think about.

“Umm, yeah.” Topaz replied awkwardly.
