RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Twiligjt's ears had perked up and he had heard the turtle approaching shortly before Cornelius said something. He turned to face the oncoming stranger and braced himself for any possible danger. However, as the turtle landed a fair distance away from him, than asked that rather strange question, he knew he was no threat.

"I really hope so." He replied scratching the back of his head.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
"Great...it seems that you guys are just as confused as I am about whats going on here.", he said in a slightly annoyed tone as he brought his right hand up to his forehead. As he approached the group, he would take momentary stock of them. One guy a cross between a bat and something else, someone that appeared to be in a soldier's attire, and someone that just seemed.... off. "That's... a rather good robotnik impression!", he would say to Cornelius, raising his eyes up in intrigue.

"But... thats me going off topic. See, I've spent who knows how many weeks in a area of sealed off space, probably caused by the dimension tear. I've only just worked my way back to "here", wherever here is...", he would say, looking about and actually taking in the scenery for the first time in days. "I intend to find a town or place to set up camp to find and uplink to a orbital satalite. At the least I can get a better look at where I am, or better find information about whats been going on since I left.", he would say looking skywards for a moment. "You guys.... seem to have the same idea as me, right?", he would say looking at the wide, stretching road ahead. "Mind if I stick with you guys? I wouldn't mind sharing my discoveries with you, and also.. if this world resulted from THAT dimensional rift I had seen that day, there's no telling what shape the goverment forces around here are in. Roadside bandits and brigands may be common place now. There's protection in numbers...", he would say tilting his head towards his holstered hammer.

“I don’t see much of a problem with it.” Topaz replied. She didn’t completely understand everything Tutley was saying, but that was besides the point.

Cornelius sort of ignored the turtle at one point, after saying what a good Robotnik impression he’d done. Manly out of anger, perhaps with a hint of jealousy. He wasn’t going to deny that there wasn’t some burning hatred from his so-called ‘father’. Perhaps it was just a son thing. Either way, he only knew that he wasn’t getting any younger- and that he’d have to stop doing a headstand sooner or latter because of all the blood rushing to his head.

“Yeah, okay, that’s fine- can we keep moving instead of blathering our mouths? We can talk later.”

[Alright, once it gets back to me we’ll skip to town. Is that alright with you guys

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Twilight watched the turtle speak his rather long speech. The wolfbat got the jist of what he said and he was glad to have more people tag along. He seemed pretty intellegant and seemed to be a good addition to the team.

"Always glad to have more people tag along." He said with a smile. "What was your name now stranger?" He asked.

(Yeah, sure. I don't see why not.)

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
"Names Tutley.", he'd say to the wolfbat. "Member of G.U.N. special forces.", he'd proudly say, pressing his right thumb up against his chest. It was a half-truth, time agents did work with G.U.N. in times of emergency, with earth dispatched agents given the status of special ops members. He would take a moment to contemplate what he just said, "Though I suppose that title may have no purpose if there is no G.U.N here.", he'd say with a nervous laugh, scratching the back of his head. It was a nagging thought in his head. For all he knew, they could have wound up in such a state of disarray after the event that the chain of command simply... collasped, or worse, they wound up on a planet where G.U.N simply never existed. For now, he'd push the matter out of his head till they got to town. "Names, people?", he'd ask as he set down the road alongside the others.

[Don't see a reason not to skip, skip away!]

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Topaz looked at the turtle weirdly. He was with the Guardian United Nations? Certainly not where –she- came from. But she wasn’t going to bring that up yet. “I’m with G.U.N. too. Just call me Topaz.” She pointed over toward Twilight with her thumb, as the group moved forward. “His name is Twilight and this-” She paused as she pointed to Cornelius, with a hint of aggravation in her voice “-Is Cornelius.”

He was doing exactly what he said he was. Walking on his hands and backwards. And quite frankly, she was having a hard time believe this guy.

“Just call me ‘Nel. It’s a lot less pretentious.” Corneluis replied, with an indication that his feat wasn’t as simple as it looked.

“I’m sure we can all get to know one another as soon as we hit town.”

----------------------------

Pittsdam as the sign indicated looked a lot like the inner circle of a little English village. There didn’t seem to be many cars around, as most people were seen walking on the sidewalks and rode their bicycles on the road. It seemed to be bustling despite recent events.

As soon as they got into town, Nelius got back to his feet and squatted as he felt all the blood rushing back down; which was a nice slap in the face for him considering he hasn’t been able to do –anything- the past week. Topaz walked past him, looking around at the place.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Twilight raised an eyebrow at Topaz. He preffered to introduce himself, but considering she seemed like a strong leader type, it wasn't a bother to him. He simply gave Tutley a smile as he was adressed. The last thing she before said brought a bit if uneasiness to him him. He didn't want to get to know these people too well. Just in case he needed to suddenly disappear he didn't wanna be missed. For now, he'd keep that part of him in the dark.

As the group reached town, Twilight began wondering if he would regret coming to this place. He didn't wish to bring harm to anyone else. He needed to leave at the first sign of sunset and dispose of the the scent of this place.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Tutley did smile a little at Topaz's response. He had a feeling she had something to do with G.U.N. Least he knew he wasn't the only one who made it to this somewhat awkward land. "Right then, nice to meet you all."

After they had arrived in town, Tutley was somewhat surprised by the level of bustling activity. People walking about here and there; some people with shopping bags. It seems that the residents around here had grown accustomed to the bit of awkwardness here and there around the land, which included a random traffic light standing a few minutes away from town for no apparent reason. The chao was rather happy to see other people, both it and the turtle relieved that life seemed to be going on as usual after that flash of light that covered both worlds.

“Well, this isn’t nearly as bad as that other town we came across.” Topaz said aloud, surprised that the town was so bustling. She looked over to Tutely with a questionable look. “What do you think we should do? Find a hotel so you can try to get a satellite view?”

Nelius stood back up, all the while cracking his knuckles and neck.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
The sight of the many people brought worry to the wofbat. He set this aside knowing he didn't have much time before sunset. First thing he needed was some rest considering both his wings and legs ached pretty bad.

"I'm all for finding a place to crash for a while." He pointed out.
