RE: The Road to Pittsdam
“No, I-” she watched as Tutley jumped of the side of the building, completely ignoring her. “-didn’t….” As soon as she spoke, she went over towards the ladder to follow Tutley.

Cornelius gave an uninterested glare towards Syhrus. His arm was bleeding a little from the bite, as the biter released as soon as he found his through being squashed. Otherwise, there was no pain what-so-ever for him. Just a sting of annoyance.

“Yeah.” He began with a sarcastic tone. “You can carry his unconscious body once I get through with him.”

The weasel began to laugh out with his voice sounding hoarse. “It don’t matter if you caught us. We’ll be out soon anyways.” He wheezed out, chuckling as he gasped a wheezy breath in.

Nel looked down at him with a brow raised. He was surprised that the weasel could still talk, let alone breath. But he was much more interested in what the weasel meant by his remark. “What do you mean by you all would be out soon?” He replied, “Got an escape plan?”

“Yeah- the rest of the gang in tanks.” The weasel replied with a smile on his face. “Let’s see how you fight those off, ass-”

He would soon be cut off by Nel throwing him to the ground, and hard. When the weasel and the ground connected, his lights where out.

“Time to get down there and ask some questions…” Nel would say aloud as he passed Syhrus and started down the fire escape.

Syhrus looked mildly dumbfounded. "Punks like this can get TANKS in this world?! Must be a dang impressive black market here. No wonder the dimension's in the state it's in," he said appraisingly.

He walked over to the unconscious weasel, slung the pitiful thing over his shoulder, and followed the others down the fire escape.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Twilight continued flying, his wings taking a mighty flap every few seconds. Although this tired him quickly, he beleived he was setting a new top speed for himself. He couldn't risk anything. With how keen his Night form's sense of smell was, it was unbeleivable. It would also purposly track down Pittsdam just to toy with the wolfbat.

They hybrid was now looking for a place to confine himself... or at least attempt to. He slowed his speed as he cam across some sort of abandoned city. He decended and hovered just barely above the ground. This place was a ghost town. Vegitation had began to grow in the cracked and worn streets. Toppled buildings cpould be seen as well. The sight of an old bank cuaght his attention and an excelent idea formed into his mind. He flew inside the missing door. It was dark and dusty, way too much for his sensitive nose to handle. but he chose to suffer through it. With his night vision activated, he searched the one thing that would allow him to execute his plan.

In no time flat, he had found it in the back of the bank. A heavy duty vualt. It was sure to buy some time. Thankfully, the thing was only a bit rrusty and it was mostly around the edges. His feet planted on the ground as he stepped inside and shut the thing. The rust actually assissted him coinsidering how difficult it was to close. On the inside was a simple handle that could be used to open the vualt. He looked for a blunt object and quickly came across a fire extinguisher which he proceeded to smash on the handle. This cuased it bend out of shape in many directions. Even with the strength that Nightmare posesessed, it would take some time to escapoe here.

"Your efforts are futile, you pitiful creature." The deep demonic voice tuanted.

Twilight ignored it and took a seet in a corner. He slumped down and wrapped his arms around his folded legs, firmly grasping his right wrist with his left hand. He rested his head on his knees, wheeping softly as he waited for night to arise

(And thus, I temporarily end Twilight's appearance. Whenever you guys choose to have night time come, a new face will surface *evil luagh*)

Tutley's rotors cut off a foot or two off the ground, letting him land somewhat gracefully. The rotors let out a faint hum as they retracted, having burnt out their energy stores for now. He strolled back into the inn; a little surprised. The place wasn't quite the mess he expected after that brawl, but there were a few things out of place here and there. He noticed a sheet of paper atop one of the counters, picking it up. It was Twilights note he left behind from before. "Odd...considering we rented inn rooms here, but at least he's all right.", he thought aloud. Pleased with his finding, he waited for the others to work their way down.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
It wouldn’t take too long before Cornelius was storming into the room; pushing himself pasted Topaz (which greatly annoyed her). With his fists clenched he looked around the room, perhaps hoping that the gangsters were still around. When they weren’t he looked over towards Tutely.

“We need to talk to those punks.” Nel said aloud as though it was a command. Now.”

Looking annoyed, Topaz came in after him, hearing what he said. “Why? What’s up with them?”

“Something that sniveling weasel said before I knocked him out. Sounds like they’ve got more friends,- and they have tanks.”

Topaz looked at him disbelievingly. “Tanks? How does anyone get tanks?!”

“I dunno. Army surplus store? What the hell did you think when I said we need to go and knock some answers out of them?!?!” he replied loudly, throwing his arms in the air and rolling his eyes at the same time. It wasn't exactly amused by her response. In fact he found it quite stupid. Seriously, why did she ask such a stupid question?

Syrhus calmly walked into the room and unceremoniously just tossed the weasel into a corner. He saw Nel being grumpy in the middle of the room. This piqued Syhrus's empathy just enough to aggravate him a bit, and he just didn't feel like dealing with that.

"Simmer down a bit, you," he mumbled kinda directionlessly as he worked his way around the angry Nel beside Tutley and tried some small talk.

"Soooo... tanks... you up for a challenge like that?"

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
"Wait... TANKS?!", he said as his eyes shot wide, realizing a major oversight on his part. He had intimidated that lizard into retreating...and now more likely than not they would soon be coming to exact vengance.

He turned to respond to Topaz's question rather quickly. "Considering how out of place things around here can be, I'm sure that it wouldn't be hard to imagine military tech winding up in any random spot for someone to use for themselves...", he said as he gazed upwards in thought.

His attention then turned towards their new companion. "I'm game for busting up some machinery myself.", he said as he turned to Syhrus. "It's either that or evacuate the city before they return and this place gets utterly leveled. We have to discover their hideout and hit them hard before they make their way here!", he said as he ground his left fist into his right. "Only thing is... is anyone else's combat abilities able to handle these things? I do have a secret weapon or two...", he said as he tilted his head towards his backpack. "I also assume being my equivalant to the F.B.I , you'll be coming too?", he asked Syhrus, scratching his head. Boy did he feel embarrassed, knowing that there was a guardian organization on an entirely different level than him.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Cornelius rolled his eyes at Tutely’s comments. “ Did I –just- say how we should go and find out!?!” he exclaimed agitatedly. “Let’s all stop talking, go down to the police station, beat some answers outta ‘um, and then go down to the nearest construction workplace.”

Topaz gave Nel a weird look, as she folded her arms. “What do we need that a constactor’s place?”

“Explosives; C-4, dynamite…anything that goes ‘boom’.”

“What, you think they’re just going to hand it out to us?!” Topaz replied, sounding a bit frustrated.

“ No.” Cornelius bagan, quite calmly. “ But they will when I politely ask them to fork it over.”

About the time he said ‘politely’, he made it clear what he meant by punching his left palm with his right hand. This warranted a dull, aggravated look on Topaz’s part.

“ You’re saying that we should steal it from them?”

“ It’s not stealing if they hand it over to us.”

"Oh, I have a few tricks up my sleeve, myself," Syhrus responded to the turtle trying to appear absolutely confident. 'I'm up for my first successful mission,' he thought as he smiled.

"As for you," he pointed at Cornelius, "I'm all for antagonizing those that deserve it, but I'll have no part in grand theft boomstick. If you proceed with that idea, you go alone. Anyone for the station, come with me."

And with that, he was out the door on his way to the police station.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Tutley shrugged at both ideas as he began walking out the inn. "How about we take the best of both plans? We go down to the station to get some answers and alert the authorities, then get to town hall and request some armaments to take care of this for them.", he reasoned as his chao gave suit and followed behind him. "But er...where's the station?", he asked looking around outside.
