RE: The Road to Pittsdam
(( On second thought, I think I'll continue posting here. I guess I was just suffering from writers block and I didn't wanna slow this thing down LoL. Nonetheless, Twilight will continue to be on his own.))

Twilight's wings finnaly gave out miles from the cit. He slowl decended, only using his wings to glide slowly to the ground. He arrived at a lake in the middle of a grassland. The sun still beat down hard on him, which satisfied the wolfbat. Any scent of Pittsdam was long gone. But how he would find his wa back? It didn't matter to the hybrid and he only focused on getting as far away from civilization as possible.

Feeling heavily parched, taking a drink of the lake water seemed like a good idea. As he approached the lake, he let out a breif scream and distanced himself. Looking in the reflection of the water, he saw he had shaggy black fur and glowing red eyes.

"Dammit!" he cursed, clentching his hands into tight fists. He really hoped he would find a way to end his wretched curse and live a peaceful life. Such a thing was a fairly tale at the moment, but Twilight was self-satisfied he was doing all he can. He regained control of his thoughts and kneeled down in front of the lake. He cupped his hands and drank from them, almost animal-like, Flying for that amount of time really drained him.

He took a couple deep breaths after the intense drinking he got to his feet and continued on in a seemingly random direction. Though his wings ached, his legs would do for now. This was his usal process of switching between walking and flying and it worked well every single time.

[Mild writers block >.> ]

When Tutley reached the top of the building, he would touch one foot, then the other to the ground as the rotor blades retracted. He set his chao aside, resting his head against a duct of some sorts. "Nice job Nel!", he said as he dusted himself off, approaching the pair. As part of a clear message for the weasel to keep still, he would draw his hammer, slamming it to the ground on the right side a foot or two away from the pair, shaking the ground. "I suggest you hold still.", he would say as he faced the weasel.

"As for you...", he would say facing the newcomer, "your with the town watch right? Arrest this man!", he would say as he waggled a finger at the subdued rodent.

“GIT OFFA’ ME!” The Weasel squirmed in vain as Nel continued to keep his old on him.

“Like I’d listen to you, ya little scumbag.” Nel replied sarcastically, sounding relatively calm.

“Hey guys!”

Being only a couple of steps behind, Topaz emerged from the ladder and on top of the roof, dusting herself off as she looked down at the sight.

“The Police of the town are here. They’re rounding up the guys in the bar right now…” She looked over towards Syhrus with a questionable look. She looked towards Tutley and pointed her finger towards him. “Who’s he?”

Syhrus reached the rooftop just in time to hear the turtle's accusation. He snickered for only a second, then started full on laughing. He just couldn't help but find it funny.

'Awesome. The situation's defused, rather peaceably, I might add; these are obviously the good guys; and I get a nice good laugh out of this. Today's turnin' up,' he thought as the laughter passed.

Then a woman joined them and asked who Syhrus was. Ohh, he was just waiting for this.

"I'm glad you asked!" He struck a proud pose. "I am an interdimensional being, specifically of an interdimensional organisation created to assist universes in danger of destruction."

He stood there for a sec, expecting shocked questions, surprise, or even looks that said "are you mad?" He especially liked the idea of proving himself to skeptics.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Twilight continued walking in his random direction. His mind was clouded with worry.

"Give yourself to the nightmare. I want to see your madness." That deep deomic voice spoke again.

The wolfbat tried his best to refrain himself from thinking about it. He felt a tingling feeling shrouding his right arm. Upon looking down, he saw a shaggy, jet black furred arm with dark razor sharp claws facing him. They attempted to slash the hybrid, but he firmly grasped the attacking hand by the wrist with his free hand.

"No! I will never surrender myself to the monstrocity that you are! I will send you back to hell if it's the last thing I do!" he exclaimed. A sinister laugh of mockery echoed through his mind as the claws overpowered him and lunged straight for his face.

Twilight screamed at the top of his lungs as he awoke from his nightmarish daydream. He was panting in a cold sweat, frantically checking his face for wounds. He looked over his whole body as well, thankful to see the normal sky blue color. He exhaled deeply before continuing

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
Tutley appeared to be a bit perplexed as Topaz asked who the other guy who had followed him up was. "I thought he was with the town guard.", he replied, scratching his cap. It wasnt long before the stranger let who he was be known.

Quote:"I'm glad you asked!" "I am an interdimensional being, specifically of an interdimensional organisation created to assist universes in danger of destruction."

Given what he had encountered since making contact with other people; he wasn't going to even bother asking questions. From what he had seen and heard, the improbable is quite probable around here. An instant headache came on as he facepalmed. "You mean to tell me that in the first day I've managed to find civilization... I've found..."

"The son of THAT guy from another future...", he said pointing to Nel, "a member of the same military orginazion I support, from another different dimension...", he went on pointing to Topaz, "and now a Time Agent equivalent on a intergalactic level?" He shook his head, trying to compute the natural odds of this happening. "Just how screwed up did this things become?", he muttered out loud as he pulled a pair of cuffs out from his backpack, a white glowing cord connecting the ends. He approached the weasel, swinging the cuffs round on a finger. "Not sure if manadrive inhibitor handcuffs exist around here.. but how about we cuff him and get back down to the hotel to talk things out. "Given the nature of things; I'm... not to skeptical of your claim. I saw TRAFFIC lights in a part of the Great Forest a few days ago."

As he attempted to clip on the cuffs, another thought surfaced. "Hey guys...where's Twilight?"

Topaz gave him a weird look before throwing her arms up. “Oh, of course. Why not?!” she replied. “I don’t care anymore, let’s just get this guy locked up!”

Nel finally stood up, with the still struggling weasel in a headlock. The guy was having hard time breathing, but he wasn’t giving up the fight. At one point the weasel bit into Nel’s forearm, hoping that he’d loosen his grip.

To his displeasure, it didn’t even make him flinch. In fact, it made his grip on the guy much tighter.

Syhrus slouched, somewhat disappointed in the lack of an overall reaction. 'Oh, well.'

He winced when the weasel bit Nel's arm.

"Say, yah need any help with that, or what?" he said, walking towards him.

Twilight had regained his thoughts, and power back in his wings. He was now high in the sky, flying full speed to god knows wheee.

RE: The Road to Pittsdam
By now, the turtle's partner had regained his bearangs, floating up to see everything was taken care of. He darted in front of the weasel, sticking his tounge out with a condecending "DAH!" before flying to Tutley's side. A light glow overtook him as he returned to his usual coloring, and then proceeded to shake out the do' he copied.

Tutley looked down at the fire escape, and then Topaz. "You happen to see Twilight come back in the inn?", he asked her with a puzzled look, attempting to bring the issue to the surface. "Sure hope he didn't go off to chase that guy down all by himself...", he said with a partly worried expression. Without bothering to actually hear her response as if he had asked himself, he would proceed to jump off the side of the building facing the alleyway, using his backpack's rotors to slow his fall to a creep, chao in tow perched on his right shoulder.
