Spyke Hitomi
Name: Spyke Hitomi
Age: 26 Sex: male Species: half albino wolf Alignment: neutral Appearance: Standing at a decent height, and nimble weight, Spyke boasts a semi-toned body. His most noticeable features are on his face: perhaps the first thing anyone notices is his albino eyes, which filter light, giving them a sort of red glow. His face is covered by three large scars, forming a bit of an "S" on his face. His hair is gelled so it falls down in three scythe-shaped tufts that dangle over his face. His clothes are simple: a black vest he wears open-chest, and a pair of black jeans. On his right arm is a faded tattoo connecting him to a street gang he was once a part of. Because of his dark body tone and clothing, Spyke can easily hide in the shadows, when hiding the only visible part of him are his eyes, when open. Family: Father: Joseph Hitomi Mother: Ariel Motina-Hitomi (deceased) Sister: Lyn Hitomi Wife: Carrie Strafer-Hitomi Brother (in law): Augustine "Nail" Strafer Son: Henry Hitomi Transport: Spyke uses a flat black motorcycle when not on a mission. It has a large engine, being sort of a "chopper"-like model. Bio: Spyke, through his whole life, had been the loner-type. He didn't have a happy childhood, what-so-ever. The only positive memories he has are with his sister, Lyn. He used to spend all his free time playing with her. When he managed to get away from his father, he would be out by the lake with his sister. She was the only happiness in his life. Spyke's major issue in his life at the time was his father's training. Hell-bent on continuing his legacy as a legendary thief, Joseph, the legendary White Blur, trained his son night and day to become a thief himself. Now being at the ripe young age of 13, the young wolf was sent through hell and back to become the best he could be, or at least as good as his father would allow him to be. His mother was always the peacemaker in the house. He would keep Joseph from over abusing his children, keep Spyke from starting a fight with his father, and keep Lyn from running away crying. Even with the peace being kept, there was still a great deal of tension in the house. These problems seemed as if they were going to last for an eternity, building more intense forever. Sadly, two years later, Spyke's mother died of cancer. Now only 15 years of age, he was forced to live alone, unprotected, with his father. With Ariel, his mother, gone, Joseph only became more violent and more intense in his training. This continued in a snowball effect until he was straight out abusing his children. Now not only was he concentrating on Spyke in his training, but Lyn as well. Spyke was obviously very protective of his sister, refusing she take part in any type of training. This simply fueled the flame between the father and son. It eventually got to the point where Lyn could not take it anymore. A year after Ariel had died, Lyn ran away from home. Spyke has never seen her since. It was actually almost a good thing that Lyn had left. With her gone, Spyke had no reason to stay around. He began to lash out at his father, refusing the training and even trying to kill Joseph. Joseph was fed up with his son's disrespect. He decided it was time to teach him a lesson to show who was in charge. During training the next day, Spyke began to lash out once more. This time, Joseph was prepared. He drew his sword and kicked his 16 year old son to the ground. Standing on his chest to keep him pinned, he raised his sword into the air and uttered words that are still burned deep into Spyke's subconscious. "blood for blood and pain for pain" With that, he brought down three large slashes onto his son's face, burning Spyke's now trademark scar into his face. Joseph had no intention to kill his son, still wishing to carry on his bloodline and his legacy. He kicked his son hard in the stomach to knock him out, bandaged his wounds, and put him to bed. Spyke awoke the next day. He stared into the mirror in horror to see his face ruined. He couldn't believe what his father had done to him. Before the scarring, Spyke had always taken his face in high regard. He was proud of the way he looked. But now, all that was gone. He was about to get out of bed, when he felt something fall off his lap. It was a large-brimmed black hat. Inside the hat was a steel-made logo of his father's design, along with other such metallic weapons for him to use during his training. He decided to forget his training, lighting a fire, he threw the metal into the blaze. Melted down into magma, he forged his twin katana. He knew if he was going to protect himself from his father, he needed a weapon. These new swords, made from the weapons and crest given to him, were the perfect way to show his father that he now longer belonged to him. Dawning his new hat, Spyke ran away from the house he lived with for 16 years. The place where his mother died, and the last place he saw his sister. He abandoned the only world he knew and hopped a train to Station Square, where he lived for the next 5 years. Eventually, Spyke moved to Radical City, and got into the wrong crowd. Though it had been 6 years since he had ran away, Spyke was still unsure what his purpose was, still used to being a trainee. It was then he had joined the Black Hearts-a street gang using thievery and kidnappings to get what they wished. Spyke wasn't particularly fond of working with them, but it was all he had. He had dawned the alias "Scar," and started his career as a Black Heart. Eventually, Spyke was given a mission to kidnap one girl, who apparently had connections to a great treasure. Spyke was unsure of their truth, but went along with it anyway. What he found was a very scared and easily captured wolf girl, living by herself in Capitol City. He was stern with her, but felt pity, she reminding her of his sister. When other gang members weren't around, Spyke was kind, even apologizing for what was happening. Eventually, Spyke learned that Carrie had ran away from her father and sister. According to her, she was tired of them always being around her. It wasn't long until Spyke met up with big brother, Nail Strafer, however. He had broken into the main base of operations and had killed many of their guards in a rage-fueled expedition to find his sister. Spyke and Nail eventually met up with each other, and a fight ensued, until Carrie had intervened. Nail and Spyke managed a bloody truce, Carrie bringing up to Spyke how much he hated being in the Black Hearts. With that, they escaped with Spyke's protection, helping them even move to a new, more protected complex in Capitol City. Time passed, and Spyke found that he cold really open up to Carrie. She reminded him a lot of his sister, Lyn. Carrie really seemed to have taken a liking to him too. The next year they were wed. His newfound brother, he soon learned, was a mercenary. Needing the money, and knowing he had the appropriate training, he became a mercenary as well, where he was given the codename BloodEyes, for his eerie red oculars. He now works with his brother-in-law on missions. He lives on to this day, in the same apartment complex with his brother and wife. His main missions in life are to locate his sister, and ultimately destroy his father. Slots (100 used): Stats (31) used): Strength: 8 Stamina: 9 Agility: 9 (+5) Speed: 10 Weapons: Twin Katana (24) Combat: Fighting Skill: Advanced (25): from all his training throughout his life from his father, Spyke has reached a high skill level in swordplay, but is far from mastering his style. Projectile Skill: Intermediate (15): Spyke's ability to throw his swords as weapons is decent. Skills: Intermediate Smithing (10-5=5): Spyke, having it being part of his forced training by Joseph, has the basic ability to forge and fix his swords. Combat Moves: Wall Jump: Spyke uses his reflexes to jump as high as he can to reach a point on a wall or tree, then jumps off the wall to gain more height. He can combo this with a flying slash or driving down his sword. Defects: Spyke can be set off balance on his way up the wall, and must deal with a slight recoil when he hits the ground at this height. Blur Dodge: Spyke uses his speed and jumping ability to jump from side to side when heading at his opponent head-on. This simply makes him harder to hit, but drains more stamina. Defects: Spyke's agility is awkwardly reduced at such high speeds, when running at this speed he can be dodged or jumped over. Projectile Moves: Blur Sword: Spyke begins his blur dodge attack, when reaching his maxiumum speed he releases his sword at two random times of the attack. Defects: Spyke loses swords until he can regain them, and can only follow up attack with straight fists, same defects as blur dodge. Blade Drive: Spyke, at the maximum height of his jump and when driving down his sword, should the enemy move, can throw his katanas to make his attack effective, this is more of an insurance policy than a basic attack. Defects: Spyke loses his swords until he can regain them. Same defects as Wall Jump Strengths: fast running speed reasonably agile when standing high melee ability can hide in shadows Weaknesses: not as strong as he is fast awkward agility at high speed low ranged ability albino eyes are sensitive to light |
