...Oh...this isn't good...

RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
The Knight's first response was a rush of adrenaline, determination and satisfaction. The beast wasn't invincible, far from it: his armor had posed little hindrance to the might of Arondight. However, the thrill of a small victory turned to surprise and then rage as his sacred sword failed to return to his side at his tug. A look of shocked wrath overtook his face beneath his faceplate, only his bared, gritting fangs betraying his expression as he struggled and strained to free the sword from the fox's iron grasp. He watched, not afraid but horrified, as the massive iron gauntlet swung down at him, seeming almost to move in slow motion. The Knight valiantly held fast to his sword, refusing to relinquish it and fighting to the end to free it.

It was not enough. The gauntlet struck him square in the chest, violently knocking the wind out of him and sending him hurtling back, the sword still lodged in the side of the monster. He landed on his back, skidding a full foot before coming to a stop. In the silence as he lay there the approaching sirens were clearly audible, and an unidentified voice seemed to explain them at Pricilla's request. The Knight heard none of it. "I took you for a beast of some honor," he said, his voice rasping with the first words since the start of the fight as he stood, gritting his teeth at the throbbing pain in his chest. "I had no fight with you, your master was my target and you fought to defend her. So long as that was the extent of your motive I had no reason to despise you." He began to walk towards the fox, an electrical crackle filling the air as red lightning began to snap and surge around him intermittently, a passive side effect of the rage welling up within. "But now, you take my blade. How dare you, villain, take from me that which I hold most dear! If you wish to defend her than do what you must, but now you shall have to defend yourself! The Crimson Knight is come for you!" His words are a roar by the end of his speech. His slow and steady walk becomes a run, not a mad sprint as before but a reckless comparatively low-speed charge, his hand raising above his head and lowering to point at his vulpine foe almost before the ten spears of golden light had materialized around him. As they rocketed forward the Knight leaped high into the air, curling into a ball and hurling himself at Relic with great force, his armored spines making his homing attack more dangerous than ever.

"Gah!" Nail covered his eyes at the bright flash of light. Somehow, he wasn't sure how, that one little word had caused Relic to simply materialize out of nowhere, and apparently intercept Shadow's attack. That caused his lips to quiver for a second, as he simply leaned against the side of the alleyway. All of this was simply too much to take in. The hybrid thought he was going insane.

Great...she's a witch too. I should have figured that out long ago. For ####'s sake...I just...wanted...to sneak...out of the city...without a ruckus. But oh no...I had to end up in the one alleyway with this Ye Olde English devil of a woman...with her own huge knight...and now Shadow's here and I got no idea what's going on in his ####ing head...and now the cops are coming and they're going to arrest me and take me away if this demon doesn't kill them all first and get us into more trouble...and...and... OH JUST GET ME OUT OF HERE!

Nail felt like letting out a scream, but all that really came out was a little whimper. He felt so tuckered out he almost missed Priscilla's question, but thankfully that cell phone he'd picked up was helpful enough to coolly inform him about the law coming in. He felt drawn to the calm, rational electronic voice as a beacon of sanity in his current situation. Finally relaxing a bit, he shouted to Priscilla.

"I say we take the phone's advice, before this gets even uglier!"

Then he quietly asked the phone a question while the others were occupied.

"Could you give...us...an escape route? Please?"

RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
Relic pulled the sword out of his side. Letting out a low growl. A visible smile forming on his articulate face plate when Shadow proclaimed to be coming after the titanic fox. Death wasn't certainly a bad thing for the fallen paladin.

The energy spears slammed into Relic, then exploded violently. This would have come to a surprised to Shadow as his own attack behaved differently then he was used to. The explosion of energy sent the knight sliding backwards, leaving marks in the asphalt where his talons dug in. The blood pouring from his side was slowing down now, even after the major shock.

Shadow's body curled into a ball and flung himself at Relic. The knight not easily dazed still could retaliate. As if catching fly ball, Relic extended his left gauntlet, letting Shadow slam into it. Clamping his claw down, the crimson knight would soon find himself locked into his present shape.

Having made her way back to Nail the buxom lupine once again commanded Relic.

"Forget that cur, We have more pressing matters." Priscilla said, filing Shadow off as a pest to be dealt with later.

Worried that if these police got here she would lose the new clothes she had just gotten. "Escaping will not be an issue." the white wolf told Nail. Touching the stone hanging from her neck with her left paw. The deep purple jewel began to shimmer in response. With her right hand, sword still in her grip, she began to draw a small white circle in the air with the tip of the blade. "My services for escape aren't cheap~" she half taunted 'Duke', She did fully intend on squeezing every second of work out of the half wolf.

"Forget" rang through Relic's mind. Loosening his grip on Shadow, stopping a few moments from turning the hedgehog into crimson jelly. He in fact released him since he now had no order to hurt the hedgehog. Though he still held onto the sword.

RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
[I'm assuming Nail's character removes SOLIS from his pocket when he talks to it?]

The 'phone' was already ahead of Nail, forming several possible escape routes that would allow the group to slip past the law enforcement. It took note of being called a 'phone' again, then showed him on it's screen a mess of lines ranging from mid grey to bright white branching out from their current positions. Judging from what it knew about higher functioning nodes, it assumed that a brighter path would clearly indicate a more desirable option.

However, the apparent leader of the group said something that made it anticipate she had an another means of escape. Quietly, it informed it's handler "Worst case scenario: best routes of escape have been determined. However, I am curious what the female entity is planning."

[Yeah, I should have written that but forgot to throw it in.]

Nail let out a sigh of defeat and resignation as Priscilla mentioned her escape not being cheap. He could probably try to run on his own, but that would be too risky given his current getup. Even at this late hour, it would be quite probable he could be seen by a night owl citizen and reported to the cops. And this was totally unfamiliar territory to him. He would be at a severe disadvantage if they reacquired him.

Plus the witch had proven she could teleport. What else could she do? He needed to learn more about her powers and the knight's powers before he could come up with a way to escape them. Either that or work until he'd paid off the debt he'd accumulated so far. But he had a feeling the debt would increase at a much more severe rate than his pay.

As he watched the circle being formed before his eyes, he took one last look at the battle outside the alleyway, before returning his disappointed gaze back to Priscilla. "Okay, I'm ready."

RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
The Knight was surprised by the strength of his Spears: he hadn't seen them so powerful since he'd been in possession of multiple Chaos Emeralds. This caused him no pause, however, as he homed in on the massive fox. A plan that was, sadly, perhaps not the best thought out, as he found himself in the fox's equally massive grip, curled into a ball and incapable of forcing his way out. The pain was intense, but the Knight grit his teeth and bared it. No grip, no matter how tight, could hold him: all he needed was a moment of focus and he would be behind the fox, ready to blast him with another barrage of Spears at point-blank range. However, just as he managed to achieve focus through the pain, the instant before he would have warped, he found himself falling, released from the behemoth's grip.

Uncurling and landing on his feet, Shadow looked up at the demon knight in surprise, before noticing his rather shady lupine mistress performing some kind of spell in the alleyway beyond him. Judging by her earlier performance, it was probably teleportation. "Hey, stop, where are you going!" he shouted, simultaneously noticing the sound of sirens, now loud in his ears. "Get back here, we aren't done!" Cursing under his breath, Shadow did the only thing he could think of: knowing the fox knight would stop him if he tried to interfere with his mistress directly, Shadow warped with a flash to stand just next to Nail, the convict who's presence had gotten Shadow involved in all of this in the first place, leaping up to try to grab hold of him and tackle him into the fox, hoping that if she teleported she would take the convict, and with him Shadow. If she didn't teleport the tackle would interrupt her, and, assuming the convict was of some value to her, Shadow's grip on him might give her and her infernal bodyguard pause.

[Oh, shoot, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to skip over you Shadow. I thought I was after SOLIS for some reason. How about we have the order as Relic, SOLIS, Nail, Shadow then?]

RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
It took Relic little time to relocate the warping hedgehog. His first instinct was to watch over Priscilla, he couldn't care less what Shadow was up to if it didn't involve his master. See the black and crimson hedgehog attempt to tackle Duke towards the wolf.
With a flex of his chain mail wings, he used his darkness wing flaps to passively move Priscilla out of the way.

Uninterrupted lady Priscilla continued her spell. Manipulating the circle she moved it close to her. Beginning to fill the center in with a large occult design.

"You could inside the man for all I care, Cur, My magicks aren't so easily tricked." She did not order her bodyguard to smash Shadow again because she was entertaining the though of leaving him behind to the wailing sirens.
