RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
Proving to be a mountain of a man, Priscilla had little trouble 'traversing' Relic. Walking along his arm and stepping across his broad shoulders proved to be a minor exercise in agility. She kicked directly in back of his helmet, pressing his head forward with her right foot. The she started pushing his head to the right.

In response the giant knight began trudging forward, Keeping his upper body still as he moved. After her second order he took a few steps towards the right. Stopping in front of a rack male clothes. Taking a knee, he extended his arm and ramped it down slightly. The white wolf strolled off his back, using the chain mail wings to steady herself.

"This will have to do for 'Duke'. The man has the favor of the heavens, had I not found these delightful out fits, I may have had to have you 'dress' the poor creature for performing such an unfitting task." If Nail was at all superstitious, He'd feel a chill up his spine, or a sneeze on coming.

"Take those back to my domain." Priscilla hung 3 pink shopping bags filled with clothes around Drake's neck. The expression on his helmet was even more grief filled then usual. "Yes, Milady." was all he croaked out.

Priscilla rode Drake out of the store, hopping out of his gauntlet when she was safely past the broken glass. She had also placed the Arcanenomicon with Relic, figuring nothing short of a nations army could, or would even dare to try and take it from him. With her own shopping bag in tow she was now heading in the direction of the alley way.

RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
It seemed as though the wolf was perplexed by its choice in numbers, moving it closer and further from its face as if further examining it. It couldn't help but feel somewhat confused itself, especially when he smiled and said, in a very slow and deliberate manner, that he wanted a phone keypad. It didn't know anything about phones more than "Devices used to transmit and receive live audio messages." Keypad, however, it did know. So those are the numbers he wan-wait, now instead he wants a map?

It had limited data on the exact details of the city so far, but it did have a topographical and city map in it's predefined memory. It quickly combined the two into a tilted, isometric overview of the town, centered over their current position, then littered it with little icons for each of the buildings it could remember the names of. The low battery continued to make it sluggish as it worked, the whole process unfolded on the screen. Its reticent voice again responded, "I haven't fully explored this area, many buildings may be unlabelled. Is this what you want?"

Nail frowned when the device mentioned it needed to explore the area to get a full detailed map. Why would it need to do that? And how would it do that in the first place?

"Don't you just download maps wirelessly? Why would you need to explore?"

In any case, he decided to examine the map before him. Maybe he could see if a lot of the buildings had the same name attached and deduce the city from that. It didn't take long before one word kept cropping up.

Soleanna PD...Soleanna City Hall...Soleanna Public Library... So, this place is Soleanna?

Again, the hybrid frowned. He sure didn't know of any place by that name. At least it was a start though. Now he needed to figure out where the city was relative to the rest of the world. Before he could ponder it more, that wolf he'd met upon first falling into this alleyway came around the corner with a shopping bag in tow.

"That was fast," Nail said, as he stuck the "phone" in his pocket. "Don't suppose you have anything you could use to cut these off, would you?"

He held up the handcuffs around his arms.

Priscilla raised a brow when she saw the cuffs.

"An escaped prisoner still in his manacles? Seems I've gotten involved with a naughty boy~"

She tossed him the pink shopping bag. With her hands free, she leaned forward. Running them up her very well toned legs, resting under her dress, she pulled the hidden short sword on Nail in a flash.

"I suppose the lady's spare sword would have t do?..." she flipped the sword in her hand so it was longer pointing at Nail, but being offered to him.

Nail looked like a deer in the headlights when Priscilla seemed to have figured him out.

As she tossed down the shopping bag, he started to slowly back away. This lady had proven to be quite unpredictable, and he really had no idea what to expect right now, especially as she reached towards her leg.. As the sword came whooshing out of its sheath, Nail stumbled backwards, taking a hard fall to the pavement below.

But then she presented the hilt to him instead of the business end. The hybrid blinked a few times, making sure he was seeing this right. Was she really doing this? Why?

Meekly, he took the sword where he sat, stuck the blade between his feet so that it stuck outwards at an angle, and started raking the chains along the blade. He really hoped this wouldn't end up being part of his "payment" later.

"You sure you want me to do this to your nice sword?"

RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
He was completely right. Priscilla's frugalness teetered on the verge of being a miser. All the clothes, her time in the alley and even 'loaning' the sword to him. she was counting it all.
Though right now the was he was using the sword was far more grating on her nerves then the handcuffs.

"By the divine!" she snatched the sword up the sides of its blade. Quickly tossing it up again so she could grab the hilt. With the blade firmly in her hands a subtle smile formed on her lips. It was very clear Priscilla was no stranger to wielding the weapon, unlike Nail.

"Now be a good pet and hold those pathetic chains out." she really had pity on how thin the chains where on the cuffs. She was used to the wrought iron shackles of old.

"Lady Priscilla only deals in even exchange, waste a night of mine and have 10,000 of yours sacrificed in compensation." the pure bred wolf was totally implying her time was 10,000 times more valuable, at least.

RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
Nail looked a little confused, not to mention a little peeved as Priscilla suddenly took the sword back. He honestly didn't know how she expected him to cut himself loose in any other way, considering he was doing this while his hands were bound.

She then ordered him to hold his chains out. That earned her another set of raised eyebrows.

Oh boy, I've seen this movie before. Hope her aim is as good as Rose Dawson's.

Taking a deep gulp, he closed the dumpster's plastic lid and laid his chains across it, spreading his hands apart as far as possible so she could easily whack the binding off. Since he didn't want to see the blade come down, the hybrid looked away and closed his eyes, waiting for the inevitable thwack.

RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
Priscilla took the sword in both of her hands, tightening her grip on the hilt. Raising the sword over her head she came down full force. It wasn't so much as a 'thunk' as it was a 'think'. The blade stopped at the chain, biting into but not breaking it. Priscilla knew she wouldn't hit Nail's hands, but hitting that small slit again would take a bit of luck and more effort.

The wolf let out a groan of annoyance letting Nail know with out opening his eyes she had not succeeded... yet.
"Well the spare is only for punishing flesh. Just a few moments, pet. You will be unhindered." putting her fingers to her mouth she let out a whistle.

"What have we here?"

Shadow stood on the rooftop overlooking the alley, his dark fur barely visible in the dim light, arms crossed with his signature grim frown. He didn't know what he was doing here: the last thing he remembered was an invasion, another one of Robotnik's schemes. He remembered the robots coming off a ship, and then a lot of nothing, before finally running across the rooftops that night. That didn't bother him though. He liked the running, it was calming and helped him get a sense of this new city he was in. He didn't know where he was, beyond that the city was called Soleanna. It certainly hadn't been here before the flash, but he'd wandered in just the same, just before Robotnik had launched his attack and his mind had gone blank. That didn't bother him either. Something told him that neither of these things mattered right now, they weren't anything important at the moment. That same something told him that he had to be there for a reason. The past was of little consequence and the place was of even less, only the reason was important. And right then the reason seemed to be the scene in front of him: a rather voluptuous wolf attempting to cut the chains on what seemed to be an escaped convict.

"You aren't trying to free this convict, are you?" It sounded more like a threat than a question.

Controlling the Chaos for fifty years.

RE: ...Oh...this isn't good...
The hybrid opened his eyes and looked back, only to sigh in disappointment. Just a tiny nick in the chains. She'd have to hit it with the sword again. Then much to Nail's confusement, Priscilla started whistling.

Nail looked quizzically at Priscilla as she seemed to whistle for something, or someone. He opened his mouth and was about to ask a question, when another voice floated through the alleyway. A stone-cold, steely voice that made his fur stand up on end for a second.

The hybrid turned his gaze upwards. He could almost be forgiven for thinking he was about to get taken out by the Caped Crusader, standing up on the rooftops like that. But it didn't look like bat ears. The silhouette looked more like quills...and Nail thought he recognized that pattern.

"Oh ####...Shadow!"

Nail remembered meeting him before. Before he'd arriven into this timeline, he'd participated in another battle against Sarath and his forces in Capitol City, his former home town. At the time, he'd had a Chaos Emerald. Canma and him had taken it from F4 when they'd decided to abandon F4. And he'd just happened to run into Shadow. Nail certainly couldn't use the emerald, so he decided to hand it over to Shadow. He hadn't known the outcome of that fight though. But maybe Shadow would remember him...

"Shadow! Don't you remember me? The fight in Capitol City, several years ago? I gave you a Chaos Emerald so you could fight Sarath and his invading army! I know what it looks like..."
he waved to his clothes. "...but I'm not a bad guy, okay?"
