RE: Roval Arms
(OMG, I'm so sorry. I never got an email notification. I'm glad I checked the actual site. I thought sonething was up :\)
Terrador chuckled as he watched the man tumble down the extended staircase. Bruce was right; the man deserved that. The lights suddenly powered off which instantly alerted him. Lizzie's scream only added to that. He watched the stranger execute his deadly strike. He knew talking wasn't in this individual's adgenda and the echidna assumed a fighing stance as well. |

RE: Roval Arms
Am stepped back a moment in shock. Did this fool actually mean to attack him.
"Am are you there? Come in Am..*garbled static*...where are ya buddy?" a voice came in his ears. "I'm here, a little busy right now" Am replied not thinking how weird that might look. "Fella I really hope you don't mean to attack us." Am's hands erupted into blue flames as he began casually walking towards the man. "Because man, I'm gonna tell ya, It would be a shame to have to stomp you seven ways to Sunday" |

RE: Roval Arms
Giichi raised his eyebrows as Am's hands magically burst into flames. Not to mention he appeared to be talking into some sort of radio. That suddenly raised a whole lot of new questions for who Am was and what he was doing here.
Meanwhile, the man in the suit raised his eyes at Am's magical fire, but behind the sunglasses the others might not notice it. However, apart from that he appeared cool and relaxed at the surprise. The man briefly stopped to put his fingers into his mouth, and let out a loud whistle. Giichi didn't know what that meant, but he felt like it wasn't good. And two seconds later, his feeling would be validated. Around the lobby doors began opening, and more people in olive green suits and sunglasses began quietly filing into the lobby, striking their own fighting stances. In fact, two actually came in through the front door. They said nothing, as they started to surround Am, Bruce, Terrador, and Giichi. One opponent had suddenly become eight. When they were sufficiently in place, one of them, a lady with tied back blonde hair stepped forward and spoke in a quick, curt voice. "You will let us leave with this statue, or you will all die. Decide now." Initially, Giichi felt like just letting them go. It was only a statue. But it surely must be important if they were resorting to such extreme measures to hang onto it. Plus he had backup. Surely Terrador could help take all of them, and Am looked ready for action. Even though Giichi himself wasn't much for combat, he felt he could help too. So, steeling himself, he turned to face the nearest thug, slowly crouched down...and seemed to teleport (Speed Jump). One second he was in the middle of the room, and the next the cat was standing right next to the thug. And one more second later Giichi had raked his claws across the man's chest, causing him to scream out and fall backwards from the unexpected attack. The other green suited thugs didn't waste any time, as they rushed in to swarm the other three combatants. |

RE: Roval Arms
Terrador also watched Am's pyrokinetic display with wonder. He was however unaware of the radio speaking considering his mind was focused on the events unfolding. The sudden increase of enemies brought a feeling of uneasiness to the echidna. No matter; he was ready for anything. That statue seemed to be of value and they weren't gonna leave with it. As he stepped a foot in to attack, the sand cat seemed to vanish from beside him. The Geomancer had lost his location until hearing the scream. The barrage of enemies stormed in shortly after. Normally, Terrador fought defensively. However, being outnumbered brought a feeling of confidence and he too charged in. Two of the crooks crossed his path. A mighty stomp was brought down onto the stone floor with his left foot, creating a small hole. He then thrust an arm forward and sent the splitting ground towards the two. This would most likely knock them their feet. He looked around to see what he can do next.

RE: Roval Arms
Echo didn't waste an instant as he raised his hands to defend himself. He countered his nearest attacker aggressively by focusing his flame on their face and upper torso.
"Told ya, not the guy to be messing with don't ya think?" "Am, you there!? What's going on. I'm picking up magical signatures Am, are you using magic down there? AM!? Come in Am? Come on talk to me buddy. Am I can be down there in a hurry if you need assistance." "Sarah, I appreciate the enthusiasm but combat isn't your specialty." Am said as he engaged the enemy. "Are you sure I can be there in..." "Sarah, I got this!" |

RE: Roval Arms
Bruce started to draw the thug's pistol to fight back, but before he could get it out one of the suits kicked it right out of his hand and sent it clattering across the floor. Surprised and angry, he growled as he raised an arm to deliver a sucker punch, but he'd taken so long winding up that his attacker slammed him with a flurry of rapid punches, dazzling him between the pain and the speed. Before long he crashed into a pillar and slid down to the floor, unconscious.
--- While Giichi's attack had definitely caught his opponent by surprise, he now faced a bit of a problem. One of his claws was stuck in the guy's clothing, and he couldn't break free. Each time he jerked his claw to get it loose, the man gasped from the blades raking into his skin. Finally though, one of the other thugs simply grabbed the cat from behind, causing the man's clothing to rip, plus an excruciating scream. With the cat's small size and light weight, the second thug easily catapulted the feline backwards across the room when he finally came loose. But cats always landed on their feet, and Giichi backflipped in midair. His feet briefly touched a pillar, which he used to bounce back into a crouching stand on the floor, with his sais drawn. --- Meanwhile, as Terrador's two opponents rushed in, the first one tripped over the hole in the floor, sending him sprawling head first on the floor. You could almost hear the crunch of a tooth. But the second man learned from his comrade's mistake, and jumped. Bouncing rather painfully off of his partner, he launched a sideways kick aimed at the echidna's head as he came flying through the air. --- Lastly, the man facing off with Am had seen the flames before, so he reacted by tossing the Tikal statue to the female fighter who'd threatened the good guys. She ran off for the nearest stairwell, deeper into the building. However, tossing the statue didn't give the man enough time to duck completely to avoid the magical fire. It slightly singed his facial skin and the top part of his uniform though. The man did not scream though, as much as he wanted to. Instead, he responded with a sweeping foot kick once he'd made it to the floor. |
