RE: Roval Arms
I stop the control room door with the remote now that I know that Evan won't get away. I did find it to be strange that Evan would give up so easily, yet I did see him squirm when his mother did slap him. I just hope this is the end of this game. If not, then more power to him I guess. I don't know what I will do next, yet I do know that this is not the time to handcuff anyone.
"I'm sorry about the remote everyone." One thing I do know is that I won't be able to take this remote with me, yet I don't dare discard it just yet. As soon as Evan is clear of the control room door, I will close it one final time and lock it. Then perhaps Evan will learn his ways. I am a cop, if you break the law you better watch out. Don't mind my avatar, I don't draw that well. |

RE: Roval Arms
After the door halted the closing, Terrador decided to yank Evan out from the door. He stopped twisting his wrist and firmly rasped the portion of the dog's arm above the elbow. His grip was slightly more intense considering he knew Evan would try and escape at any time. With a couple rough tugs, the echidna attempted to pry him out. And the more Evan would resist, the harder Terrador would pull. By now hopefully the mutt would learn he had been fefeated and Terrador's patience for him was growing thin.

RE: Roval Arms
Am ran over and grabbed Evan to make triple sure the creep didn't get away.
"ya know, I'm starting to rethink my promise not to hurt you Evan" Am shook his head as he tried to pull Evan out of the sliding door's path and back into the room. "I might just have..arrg..to beat you after all..arrg" |

RE: Roval Arms
Evan just grumbled under his breath as both Am and Terrador yanked him back away from the door. Finally, mercifully, the door sealed itself with a loud clank at Tech's command from the remote. Evan stared at the door, and then let out a long sigh. With that door sealing itself, his hopes of getting the treasure for himself had completely died.
With Evan suitably restrained, Lizzie marched straight over. Her son immediately shut his eyes and grit his teeth, since he knew what was coming. "Don't you shut your eyes! You're going to be a man and watch this coming! Now open them up! Come on!" Reluctantly, Evan slowly opened his eyes just as his mother slapped him straight across the face again. Wincing from the pain, he growled under his breath at his mother. "Why do we have to keep going through this? Stop treating me like a little kid!" "I'll stop treating you like one when you stop acting like one! Honestly! You spend all your time hiding in that room in there with your toys, and you never go anywhere! No girlfriends, no other hobbies, no job! Why couldn't you have been more like your grandfather Adam?" "Yeah? Well you just sit around upstairs in that big poofy chair reading magazines all day." "At least I'm helping us to keep our home by renting out the rooms! Anyway..." Lizzie turned around to face Tech. "Would you be so kind as to take Evan downtown? Normally I wouldn't do this, but he really needs to be taught a lesson this time. I'm sure you've seen enough to know what charges to press against him." Evan looked dumbfounded as he glanced between the cop and his mother. He couldn't believe this was happening. "Mom! MOMMY!" he said in an irritatingly whining voice. "How could you do this? I'm your only son!" Sighing, Lizzie turned back again. "You still call me Mommy? And you want to be treated like a man! Hah! If you really want to be a man, you need to learn to own up to your own actions! Like I said Officer Tech, could you please take him to the holding cells? Maybe a night or two in there will straighten him out at last." --- Giichi watched amused from the sidelines, but then felt a slight vibration in his pocket. It was his cell phone. Frowning, the cat excused himself off to the side to take the call. "Hello...?" he started, confused. Giichi listened intently for a few seconds, then his eyes narrowed. "Whoa, whoa, slow down. You're saying someone's trying to take over our...branch?" Giichi cast a quick glance at Tech before returning to the call. He had nearly said 'Thieves' Guild', but then remembered a cop was present and changed the words at the last second. Realizing that this was a conversation better left private, the cat decided to head back upstairs where he'd be alone. After a few more gibberish lines from the other side, Giichi appeared to go rigid in terror, as his mouth hung open in surprise. "Oh, ####. Yeah, I know Beauty and the Beast. They're really bad news." A quick pause as the guy on the other side chattered on. "Yeah, yeah, I know Ajax isn't a great guy, but trust me. He's nothing compared to that dame and her monster. You don't want her lording over you. I'll try to get over there when I can. Thanks, bye." He hurried back downstairs and moved to speak to Terrador, who was still holding Evan. "Hey, buddy, you think you could come with me again? Sorry to do this to you but I've got a bit of an...emergency...to handle. I could use your help." Obviously Giichi appeared reluctant to discuss the nature of the emergency given who was present. |

RE: Roval Arms
I do as Lizzie says and handcuff Evan. I hold him tight and hand over the remote to Lizzie. "You need this more than I do. Could you guide me to the holding cell in this place? I'm new here."
As I wait for Lizzie to respond, I enhance my hearing and I hear Giichi Twinkleland. I hear the hesitation in Giichi's voice when he says "branch". When I hear the other stuff that comes before it, I can sense the fear in his voice. I don't consider anything that he says to worry me, yet I do wonder why he did have to stop himself in mid sentence just to say "branch". Well, I can't arrest him right here anyway - he hasn't done anything wrong. I have to worry about Evan. I stay close to Lizzie and don't do anything else. Every thing else I hear is footsteps going up one floor and then coming back down. After that, I hear the breath-like sound of whispers, yet I don't hear what they're saying and that is okay with me. I hope Lizzie knows the way to the holding cells. All I can do now is wait for her to respond. I am a cop, if you break the law you better watch out. Don't mind my avatar, I don't draw that well. |

RE: Roval Arms
Terrador released his grip on Evan as Tech approached to take him away. At the sáme moment, Giichi informed the echidna of the emergency. With the uncomfortability he sensed in the cat, he decided to ask questions later.
"This can be furthet discussed as we make our way to your vehicle." He told Giichi. His attention was breifly brought to Am. Everybody had somewhere to go for the moment except him. He was somewhat curious about the alien's course of action, but he decided not to bother with it. It appeared as if Giichi needed to leave now. "Let us not waste time." He said to the sand cat. |

RE: Roval Arms
Am kept a tight grip on Evan's arm until Tech got a hold of him.
"I can tell you're not a bad person Evan. But you need to take a look at your life and set some goals on getting out of here and establishing something of your own. When I was younger and just starting out I couldn't wait to get out of town. When you get out in a few days or how ever long they keep ya get out there and do something with your life man. Good luck dude" Am noticed the sudden change in demeanor in Gichii and Terra. Running up and down the stairs definitely peaked Am's interest. "Everything okay there guys?" |

RE: Roval Arms
Evan looked at Am as he spoke, but he wasn't really listening. After all, he was getting taken to jail. He'd never been there before. He had no idea what to expect. What kinds of people would he end up in a cell with? Quite frankly, the possibilities terrified him. Anyone looking at him would get the impression he appeared very unsettled, as his hands appeared to tremble a bit in the cuffs.
Lizzie actually had the same thoughts about who Evan might end up with too, but she reminded himself he was a grown man now. It was high time something happened to Evan to toughen him up. However, Lizzie looked confused as Tech asked where the holding cells were. "Holding cells, here? No, not here. I mean at your jail at your station. Are you new to your precinct or something? It's over by the City Hall." "Still can't believe you're doing this..." Evan muttered. Again though, despite trying to put up a tough front, Tech would note Evan's quivering arms and cracking voice as he tried to make the words sound a little more forceful. --- As Giichi and Terrador reentered the lobby, the cat checked behind him again to make sure Tech wasn't following them or within earshot. Surprisingly, Am was following them and asking what was going on. Giichi considered brushing him off...but Am seemed like the sort of person who'd live for something like this. So the cat decided to continue on with what he was going to say to Terrador only. "I've got a big problem, and in the literal sense too. A part of my gang is launching a coup for control of my local Thieves' Guild branch, and I've met their leader before. Her name is Priscilla, but she insists on being called LADY Priscilla apparently..." He shook his head in annoyance at that tidbit. "Anyway...if she were by herself, it would be no problem. But she's got her own personal beast protecting her. His name is Relic, and he's a gigantic fox standing like ten feet high. Strong guy too...he can throw things like safes around like baseballs. And with his armor he's pretty well indestructible. I met them before in a little village where they were trying to extort everyone out of their money. Me and some others managed to drive them out of town, but not before they got away with the money. I'm amazed I'm still alive." It still sent some chills down his spine, thinking about Relic blasting through the ceiling of that shop like it was nothing. "If they get control of this branch of the Thieves' Guild, they're pretty well going to own a big chunk of this city. And I bet you she's going to try to extend her influence to the other branches as well. Me and the rest who are loyal to the gang need to stop her now, before she gets more power." Not to mention...once she finds out I work for this branch she's either going to kill me or run me out of town and my little seaside cottage... He wanted to say the last bit too but didn't think it would gain him much sympathy. In any case, as they hurried down the front steps back to Giichi's Ferrari, he asked them the question he'd been wanting to say. "So...do you guys want to help stop her?" |

RE: Roval Arms
I feel a little sorry for Evan and I explain something to him. As I walk up the steps with him, I speak. "Evan, there isn't anything to worry about. If you feel afraid, I can put you in a separate jail cell from anyone else. I just want you to remember that you're innocent, until proven guilty in a court of law. My other cop buddies in the precinct will make sure you're fed and well taken care of. I will admit, jail isn't a picnic. Some people learn their lessons and others continue their mishaps once their released. Yet, I can guarantee that jail will give you plenty of time to think about what you did."
I stop at the entrance/exit point of this building. "Evan, I'll make sure you're kept safe and sound and that no one hurts you. Best of all, your mom can visit you from time to time to make sure you're doing alright. Is that fine with you?" (Giichi, will you still be controlling Evan once he gets to jail or will this pretty much be the end of his story? I'm just wondering.) I am a cop, if you break the law you better watch out. Don't mind my avatar, I don't draw that well. |

RE: Roval Arms
[Tech, I suppose I can. That is, unless you want to get involved in the street fight that Giichi's talking about? I just think the local police might be interested in that, so naturally Tech would want to fight against Relic and Priscilla as well. We might want to have two topics to help the speed of posting though.]
