At the mention of circuit boards, both Lizzie and Giichi turned around confusedly.

"Circuit boards?" Lizzie asked questioningly. However, towards the end of that line her voice seemed to get a hard edge. The questioning eyes narrowed. "Are you planning to do something with my family fortune? You better not be. This money still rightfully belongs to Adam's heirs, which includes me. I'll give all of you a small part as a reward for helping out, but don't get greedy."

Giichi himself looked rather confused by Am's words as well. Why would he need the metal to make circuit boards? Did Am secretly work for a technology company that was running out of precious metals or something? Odd choice of places to look too for fortune...

Evan temporarily glared at Terrador. Clearly he was extremely pissed off at the geomancer right now for some reason, although as to why could only be guessed at. The dog temporarily turned his eyes to the new secret room. He clearly looked so infuriated that his mother and all those other people were going over HIS treasure.

Evan began to sway to a stand, as if that hit from his mother had knocked him off balance. Eventually he rose to his feet and leaned against a wall, rubbing the red mark on his face where he'd been struck.

Then suddenly Evan bolted straight for the command center door down the hallway. In a flash he flew right past the secret vault, where everyone was too busy admiring the gold. Looked like he'd decided to take advantage of that distraction. In a few seconds he'd be at his control room's door.

'Don't worry anyone, I don't want to take any gold. In fact, I don't even want a share of it." I feel a whoosh of wind behind me, yet it doesn't matter to me. "I just want to study the gold to see what it looks like."

I pick up a rock of gold and examine it. I take a bite out of it to see for myself what Giichi felt. I lick the gold just to see how my tongue responds to it. After I curve my curiosity, I put it down and think no more of it.

I turn toward Terrador. It seems like he isolates himself from the rest of the group. I ask. "What's wrong, Terrador?"

Terrador had a breif smile on his face as Am wandered to the vualt. He had some respect for the alien and the echidna would be hesitant to act hostile towards him. His smile quickly faded as he saw Evan had been giving him a death glare. The Geomancer decided to give him one back. What about the warrior did Evan not like? He should be glaring at Giichi for revealing his treasure... by accident of course. Or perhaps Am for lighting him on fire. Mabe even his mother for her slapping him and exposing the family treasure to a bunch of strangers.. Sure Terrador almost grabbed the statue for himself back in the basement, or attempted to smash the back of the dog's head with a cinderblock, but nothing as severe as what others did.

Evan attempted his escape and Terrador was the only one not drooling over the gold. He considered alerting the others, but they seemed to preoccupied. Unfortunately for Tech, she would be turning to see a now vanished Terrador who had taken off after the mutt. The echinda would just be another whoosh of air as he passed his allies, taking off full speed after Evan.

Am turned a smile to Lizzie "I was being sarcastic actually. I don't want any really. You can give my share to the others if you like I don't really have any use for it. It'd just take up space and my wife has been on me about how cluttered our living space has been lately."

Just as he responded Evan sped past him causing Am to fall backwards into the room landing back first on the concrete floor. Am pushed himself up onto his hands to yell something.

"Stop him! He gets to that door we're screwed! Terra block the door!!"

"Never mind him Tech!" Lizzie called out. "If Evan gets into that room, all our hard work means nothing!"

Giichi, who knew all too well how many traps this place had, took off running after Evan as well. However, he'd be too far behind to help at this point. It would pretty much be all up to Terrador unless someone decided to try for a gunshot.

Evan ran at full speed for the doorway, flailing his arms wildly as he did so. If he could just get inside and lock the door, he could completely turn this whole thing around! Unfortunately, he'd deliberately chosen to make the door a heavy steel door so that it couldn't be breached easily. He'd need to open it quickly but the weight might have other things to say about that.

So, as soon as he hit the door, Evan slammed the handle down and started yanking on it as hard as he could. The dog opened it just enough for his skinny frame to squeeze inside. By the time Terrador would make it to him Evan would be halfway through the small opening.

I run after Evan and it doesn't take me long to see Terrador and the others closing in. I take out the remote from my holster and hit close on the part marked control room. It will only be a matter of seconds between three things. Either Terrador gets Evan and get him away from the door so I can lock it with the remote. Either Evan gets through at the last possible second or he gets crushed before he can make it all the way through.

After all of this mayhem, I will be focusing on the ninjas that I was supposed to focus on.

Terrador had seen half of Evan's body sticking out of the massive door and it seemed it wouldn't take much time for him to squeeze his other half through. Only for a second did the echidna consider ramming the door full speed, but he decided on another approach. Instead, as soon as he reached the door, he quickly and firmly grasped the dog's wrist.

"Surrender yourself. My physical strength is far beyond yours. I can break your wrist like a twig if you don not get out." he would warn as he gave the wrist a slight twist to the point bones can be heard cracking.

Am jumped to his feet quickly and readied himself for what may come.

Almost through! Almost through!

A big grin crossed Evan's face as he was almost inside the room...and then he felt something grab his arm. Then that something twisted his arm around. Hard. He felt like a gigantic wrench had just clenched itself around his wrist and then immediately turned as hard as it could. The pain was quite exquisite, and not to mention the small popping sounds he thought he heard scared him half to death.

"AAAAAAHHHHH! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

His cries would echo around the basement as he turned to see Terrador there, with his mighty hand still clenched squarely around the dog's wrist. And Evan thought he'd just heard the echidna ordering him to surrender. Since Evan was basically a nerd and thus had a pretty low tolerance for physical pain, he couldn't give up fast enough.

"OKAY OKAY YOU WIN YOU WIN! I LOSE I LOSE! JUST LET ME GOOOOOO! OW OW OOOOOWWWWW!"

Now because of Tech the door kept trying to slam shut again and again on him, but it was really just knocking the wind out of him each time. Giichi immediately ran over to help, before turning back to Tech.

"Hey! Turn that thing off!"

The cat said, in reference to the remote.
