RE: Roval Arms
I look at the room as Bruce gestures to the kung fu guys and I do listen intently to what Bruce has to say. I hear him also say that he needed some help to remove the kung fu guys from this vicinity and take them to jail. After I observe the area, I turn back to Bruce. "I'll be happy to help."

RE: Roval Arms
The whole struggle happened before Terrador can even blink. With his allies here and Evan slowly backing away, Terrador simply stood back. He didn't know how to go about this situation, ecspecially with how delicate it was. He did however keep hs eyes targeted on the dog like a laser. If Evan were to even condier an escape, the echidna would not hesitate to bring him down.

RE: Roval Arms
[Tech, you realize you're in the same room as this commotion with Evan, right? I think you should react to him.
Also, absence rule. By the way guys, originally I was thinking of having this story arc end with us chasing Evan around the building trying to get the statue back. But now that we're at this point I think this arc has gone on long enough, and a chase would just be annoying. I'm ready to move onto a new story, and I get the feeling I'm not alone in this sentiment. What do you guys think? Post your OOC response in the next round, and depending on the votes I'll just end the storyline in the next few posts.] Giichi had been so surprised before by what Evan said about the statue, that he momentarily forgot this was just the kind of information he was after. If that statue was needed to find the treasure, he had to get it and he had to know more. And to think he thought it was just a stupid Tikal figurine and nothing more... So, continuing to feign confusion, he raised his hands up and slowly approached Evan in a non-threatening stance. "Evan...I don't understand. That statue unlocks the trea--" "SHUT UP! ALL OF YOU!" As Evan screamed, he suddenly yanked what looked like a television remote control out of his pocket and started waving it around at everyone else. He treated it as if he were holding a gun in his hands. Giichi had no idea what the hell to make of this. Fortunately, Lizzie inadvertently stepped in to shed some light on what that thing was. Like a mother does and should, she started loudly scolding Evan for his wild behavior. "Evan! You're going to use the traps on them?! They got rid of the order! Why are you--?" "I said...SHUT UP!" Evan pointed the remote at Lizzie's feet and pressed a button. Seemingly by reflex, she stepped backwards and fell to the ground, since she probably knew what was about to happen. Right where she stood, a massive trap door opened up and exposed a pitch black hole. If she hadn't moved when she did, she would have fallen. It was just like the one in the basement. Seems that the traps were in a lot more places in this building than where just Bruce had shown Am, Giichi, and Terrador before. Giichi couldn't believe this turn of events, as he looked back and forth between the hole and Evan. He's gone crazy! Crazy! He would do that to his own mother?! Giichi wasn't on the best of terms with his own parents but he sure wouldn't drop them in a big black hole leading to who knows were. But what could they do to stop Evan? Those traps probably riddled the whole building, and he'd shown they were even in this very room. They could be anywhere! Giichi couldn't help but feel paranoia rushing over him as he started looking over the entire room, trying to imagine where more of the traps could be. Even though Evan looked like a nerd he definitely had the home court advantage here. Speaking of which, he returned to pointing the remote at the others in the room. "Now! All of you stay right where you are, or I'll do the same to you!" |

RE: Roval Arms
(To be honest Giichi, I thought that was taking place some place else. The argument takes place here then. Alright, I'll respond to this conflict. As far as the voting is concerned though, I don't think I would be much help since I just entered the topic. Okay, onto my response. I do have one suggestion though. You need to see a story to the end. I know this is an RPG - aka the never ending story - and this chase may be silly to you, yet it also may be worth while to go through with it. As a true writer like myself, I leave nothing to chance. Even if this is a never ending story, you still need to see a segment of the story to the end regardless of how silly it may seem. Sometimes things that seem silly actually turn out to be perfect for the story. Plus Giichi, we don't always need your new ideas for plots. I'm sure there's plenty of other people that could come up with a plot as well. Don't ruin this for me.)
My ears twitch and I look at the argument that takes place with Giichi and Evan. I allow myself to take it all in. Quote:"Evan...I don't understand. That statue unlocks the trea--" This doesn't look good in the least. I watch as Evan takes out a remote control and I do have a feeling that it controls something, yet I can't place what that is. I saw someone try to intervene on the situation and I had a feeling that this wouldn't end well. Quote:"Evan! You're going to use the traps on them?! They got rid of the order! Why are you--?" Then I see Evan do something much worse, he points the remote at this woman and send her down a trap door. Now, I know that this is a remote that controls this house' mechanisms. Evan then points the remote at everyone else in the room and I know this isn't a good thing. Quote:"Now! All of you stay right where you are, or I'll do the same to you!" I don't dare point my gun at Evan, yet there must be something that troubles him in more ways than I can fathom. I ask the first thing that comes to my mind. "What troubles you Evan? Maybe I can help you. All you need to do is put down that remote and I can help you." I am a cop, if you break the law you better watch out. Don't mind my avatar, I don't draw that well. |

RE: Roval Arms
(Well, at the moment I can't think if anything, mostly cuase it's 1 A.M for me and I'm pretty tired LoL. I guess if we were to wrap this up in a couple rounds, than let's go all out and have it end with a bang lol.) I'll do my part with longer posts considering I'm just getting writer's block lol.
As Evan plunged his own mother down he trap door, what already little respect Terrador had for the dog dropped far below none. How could he do such a thing? Terrador's parents mean everything to him. Everything he was going through right now was for them. Never would he even considering dropping them in a random hole. The Geomancer was tempted to let his fury get the better of him, but with how quick the deranged mut was with that remote, the elemnt of surprise was needed. "And if she can't talk any sense into you, I'd like to see how far you can get with your puny toys." He stated with anger in his voice. If anyone was watching the echidna, they would probably notice his right hand was moving in a cuicular motion. For those looking at Evan, they may notice a fairly sized cynderblock behind him slowly floating towards his head. Terrador had seen the stone in the distance and coulnd't help but to use it to his advantage. His pericing emerald orbs stared Evan down while h did this. He watched everg move he made, the look in his eyes. If he were to even think about pushing the button, he would dind the block smashed into dust on the back of his head. Even if rhe group did get flushed,, Terrador did everyrhing he could. |

RE: Roval Arms
[ BATTLES BATTLES BATTLES! Sorry for my tardiness btw life has been real crazy the last few months. Hopefully I have a grip on it now so it shouldn't happen anymore. ]
Am simply stood in silent shock. "wh..why would you do that!?" Am turned to Gichii and whispered just loud enough for the cat to hear "I think it might be time to leave dude" |

RE: Roval Arms
[I will say Tech that I did have the same ending in mind, regardless of whether we had the chase through the building or not. So it doesn't matter how we do this really. Anyway, this has given me a bit of an idea. Let's roll with the idea of a standoff for the time being.]
Quote:"What troubles you Evan? Maybe I can help you. All you need to do is put down that remote and I can help you." All that earned Tech was a very loud growl and a sharp tongue lashing. "BE QUIET! I don't need you! I don't need ANYONE! I'm going to be the richest man in the city!" He continued to sweep the remote around the room at everyone in general, making nervous laughter as he continued to glance back at his precious statue and the others in the lobby. Their shocked looks and words did absolutely nothing to deter him out of his crazed state. Giichi himself was a little too bewildered from what was unfolding in front of him to really hear Am's words. He couldn't help but glance back and forth at Evan, and then the cinder block about to smash in his head, courtesy of Terrador. He spared a glance at the echidna and watched as the geomancer moved his hands to control the masonry. Evan, however, seemed to have picked up on what Giichi was looking at, and then he saw Terrador making his hand motions. The dog froze in place, but not before giving some choice words to the echidna. He still had the remote pointed at Giichi during this time. "You're using your powers, aren't you? I saw what you could from my cameras. Don't try to hide it! You pull anything, I'm sending cat boy down into the hole too. You let me leave the room, right now." Giichi gulped, as he looked at his feet for the outline of the trap door. It looked like Terrador's move had resulted in a standoff. |

RE: Roval Arms
I react fast. I pull out my laser pistol and take one shot at the remote.
I hope I don't hurt Evan, yet I want the remote out of his hand. Beyond that however, I can't guarantee anything with regards for Terrador, Giichi and myself. If I miss, we're doomed. If I hit that remote, it'll buy us some time to apprehend this Evan. Then I can get my chance to carry out my duty to rid the place of the kung fu guys. I am a cop, if you break the law you better watch out. Don't mind my avatar, I don't draw that well. |

RE: Roval Arms
Terrador breifly glanced at the sand cat, giving him a sort of "you idiot" look. He than glared at the crazy mutt as he continued to levitate the stone. Giichi was to his right side and Terrador could not afford any less concentration on his weapon of choice. He could not smash Evan and grab the cat before he plunged in. Could he do something that would delay the strike such as placing it above his head? It would give the echidna a chance to grab his comrade. A smug grin fixed on his muzzle as he executed the perfect plan in his mind.
He was about to tell Evan how foolish he was for this attempt, but a sudden gunshot cuased all his thoughts to vanish. The cinderblock dropped inches behind Evan. The sound of the gunshot temporarily stunned him. It took a couple secinds to regain his senses and when he did, he would see the aftermath of the shot. He was ready for just about anything. |

RE: Roval Arms
Am took a shot at the remote with a pair of fire bolts half a second after tech, doubling their odds of hitting the remote.
"Gichii, Terra move!" Am yelled gesturing for the two to make their move. |
