RE: Roval Arms
Terrador facepalmed himself in his mind at the mix up. He quickly shrugged off this feeling of foolishness and continued speaking.

"My parents?" he asked, sounding a bit upset as his head slowly drooped down. He had fought so hard to save them, only for this damned dimensional merge to deprive him of them. Quickly escaping his breif day dream, he glanced over at her.

"I am aware of the echidna's state. Other than my parents, I have never seen another face to face. My parent's origin are even a myster to myself, All I know is they were both mighty warriors from the Geomancing Saxum clan. From what I know, they were the only two echidnas. They are currently trapped in another dimension." he explained, completely overlooking telling his story to a stranger was unorthodox for him.

"They may be just brainwashed wackos but they're still capable of harming you. I'm sorry, but I will not risk anyones safety because we offended their little cult."

Am loosened his stance a bit and backed up further to put yet more distance between him and the suits.

"I admit I might have over reacted a bit but I still have a right to self defense. Besides that guy back there would have blown him away with that pistol. I did him a favor really. He gets to live now to change his ways instead of going to sleep at the bone yard"

"Am that storm is nearly here keep your guard up"

Am turned and noticed it had gotten dark outside from the storm clouds blocking the sun. Drizzle could be seen floating through the air indicating that the rain was on it's way.

"wow storms here move pretty fast." Am commented under his breath

"anyways, what are we going to do here? stare at each other or are we gonna do something?"

RE: Roval Arms
While the blonde woman appeared positively thrilled to meet Terrador before, her mood appeared to decrease the more and more the echidna described his situation and simply not knowing the origin of his people. It was as if she'd seen the greatest treasure in the world, and then it had been suddenly hidden from her view again.

"I see..." She shook her head. "This merge...it's caused all kinds of havoc. But..."

She looked off towards the city around her. On the outskirts of the city, black clouds started snaking over the buildings. An ominous lightning bolt struck down over the ocean, and a few seconds later the thunder reverberated back to them, sitting out on the ledge.

"If you got here from the merge...there might be others. I wonder if...if it affected places across time..." She suddenly stood up on the ledge, to get a better view. "I wonder if there might be true ancient echidnas around!"

Now rain droplets were starting to patter on the stonework around them, although the woman didn't appear to be moving from her position. She seemed to be lost in her realization.

---

"Let me just get that statue back, and I'll destroy it,"
Evan said, as he walked back to the door the basement. "No statue, and these creeps won't be coming around again. I'll run back to my control center and see where it is. Won't take long to find it on the monitors."

And with that he was gone. Giichi sighed as he left.

"Sad that statue's got to go, but I suppose it's for the best if everyone can be safe again around here."

"Maybe we should start cleaning up this place too, eh?" Bruce nodded to all the destroyed masonry work around the place, not to mention the unconsious green suits. "I think I should help get these guys cleaned out of here and down to the police station. You guys wanna help tie them up and get the cops over here?"

He quickly walked over to a nearby broom closet, and in a second had tossed rope to both Giichi and Am.

RE: Roval Arms
Terrador listened to her word for word.

"Perhaps you are correct. This merge has brought me much distress, but if your assumptions are correct, I can possibly get in touch with my ancestry." he replied. His tone voice had changed since their arrival on this ledge. Before, he sounded hostle and untrusting. However, softness could be heard from him now.

As the rain trickled his body, he figured now would be a good idea to come inside.

"Come now, let's get back to the others." he suggested, carefully edging his way back to the window. With the rain decreasing traction, he had to proceed with the upmost caution.

Am raised a brow curiously

"Cops?"

Am had a question written on his face as he began tying up the suits. Am had apparently tied a knot or two in his day as he tied them together with expert knots. His new companions wouldn't know this but this skill was learned from his years in the space force.

"Sarah, look up what cops are if it's in the database" he whispered quietly when he had his back turned to the others while tying up a pair of suits.

RE: Roval Arms
The woman quickly stepped back inside with Terrador's support, grateful to be out of the rain. However, she wondered what the others might do with her since she was willingly giving herself up. But surely she couldn't deny an echidna's will... The woman would be silent and confused as they walked down the stairs back to the main lobby.

---

Upstairs, Giichi raised an eyebrow when Am repeated the word 'cops'. He thought about asking him why he'd said that, but well, Giichi himself was trying to hide from the cops too. When Terrador got back down here, he'd need to get the echidna and himself out of here before the police became involved. There were officers around town looking for him. Sometimes they caught him but his Guild contacts made sure he wasn't there for long. But it was expensive and risky having to use them.

The cat silently proceeded with his work, tying up the last of them. With Bruce's help he'd dragged all of them into a sitting position in the corner. After that Bruce flipped open his cell phone and started talking to the local cops. They assured him a black and white would be there before long to help take down all the details.

---

Meanwhile, Evan was salivating at the lips as he watched the monitors downstairs in the control center. Terrador escorting the woman back to the lobby, with the statue intact. While he'd been acting like the statue was nothing important, in fact, it was the key to EVERYTHING. He HAD to get that statue now.

But as much as he wanted to just use one of his traps to catch the green-suited woman and take the statue by force, he knew it would be a bad idea. It would merely draw attention to himself, since he controlled the traps. He needed to stay cool and keep acting like it was nothing important.

With that decided Evan took what looked like a small remote control, slipped it discreetly into his pocket, and walked back upstairs. Today was a date with destiny, and he needed to be prepared for it.

"Looks like they're on their way down now,"
Evan announced, as he stepped back inside. "And they've still got the statue too, which is good."

RE: Roval Arms
Within moments, a cop arrives... I arrive anyway. I knock on the entrance door.

I call out. "There was someone that called for the cops. What happens to be the problem over here? You needed some details sorted out I was told, so I came over right away. May I come in?"

I am a cop, if you break the law you better watch out. Don't mind my avatar, I don't draw that well.

Terrador walked side-by-side with the woman. The akward scilence made him feel a bit uncomfortable. He was never really good at starting a conversation.

"So, what do you think has gone down since our departure?" he asked. It was actually a legit question, for he too was curious.

RE: Roval Arms
[sorry, it's been crazy]

Am simply stood quietly as Tech entered the room.

"Am this could be bad. 'cop', according to our database, is a slang word the Mobians use for law enforcement."

A wave of panic washed over Am's mind. His stomach turned in knots as his heart jumped into his throat.

"Am, you know what to do if they ask for your I.D."

"roger that" Am whispered. "stand by"

RE: Roval Arms
Bruce hesitated for a moment to speak to the cop, but he figured that since he was out of jail and had done his time then he probably didn't need to worry about being near a cop for a while. So with that he walked over, acting uncharacteristically much more politely than he had with the others.

"Good evening ma'am. I know it sounds like something out of a movie, but these weird kung fu guys just came in here and started wrecking the place. I mean...well look at it!"

He waved to the room. Kung fu guys all over the room, some burned up, some knocked out on the ground and tied up, and smashed masonry on the walls.

"Anyway, we managed to subdue them and now we'd like you to help us get them out of here."

---

The woman didn't speak in response to Terrador's question. She seemed much too lost in her own thoughts. As they reached the lobby, Evan would immediately walk straight to her, looking at the statue in her hands. As he approached, the mystery woman immediately pulled it back.

"No! You won't have this statue! You don't deserve it! You abandoned our order!"

"It's my property. It's in this building. Give it back now." Evan said sternly, as he reached for the statue and tried to yank it out of her grasp.

She resisted, as she continued to pull it back and wouldn't give it up. Now Evan had released all pretenses of trying to talk to the woman polietely, as he violently tried to yank it straight out of her arm.

"Damn it you stupid woman! I said GIVE IT BACK!" The last part he yelled at full volume, his voice clearly echoing around the lobby. Bruce, Lizzie, and Giichi all couldn't help but turn straight to the conversation at hand from the noise.

Now it was a full blown scuffle, as Evan tackled her to the floor and continued to try wrestling the statue out of her grasp. Giichi and Lizzie ran over to help, as they tried to put their paws in their way to separate the two. In the breakup, Evan finally managed to wrestle the statue out of her grasp, as he rolled to a stand. Giichi and Lizzie both restrained the mystery woman so she wouldn't try anything else. Evan stared at the statue as if he were holding all of the power in the universe, with his eyes dazzled by it.

"Evan, I thought you said it was just a stupid statue! You're acting like it's the Holy Grail now or something!"

The wide aura of wonderment left the dog as he turned to look at Giichi. Red-faced, Evan shouted straight into sand cat's face.

"NO! It's not! It's the key to this building's treasure and--and--" the color drained from his face, as he looked Giichi square in the cat's surprised eyes. "Oh no, did I just say that?!"

"Treasure? Wha--?" Giichi looked completely dumbfounded by this turn of events.

Now Evan had shifted from angry to downright scared, as he clutched the statue to his chest very closely. He started edging away back towards the door. He eyed everyone else in the room as if the were all thieves, robbers, and murderers wanting to steal his precious statue away.
