A.R.T.E.M.I.S.
Name: Artificial. Realistic. Tactical. Emulative. Multi-purpose. Intelligence. System. (A.R.T.E.M.I.S.) aka. Artemis Anzhar
Age: 5 Months Sex: Has the appearance of a Male but has no reprodutive organs, so..... lets say Male Species: A.I. Nanotech Android / White Fox Appearance - ((I realize that most of this information doesn't nessarily belong here. But I feel that I need to tell all this info to justify Artemis's existance, and appearance seemed to be the best place to put this. If you want me to move this to a custom feild I will ASAP. Thank you for your consideration.)) Artemis not being a normal artificial creation by the current technological standards has a rather complex body to expand upon. The first would be his skeletal structure or general frame, constructed from high strength, and density materials, ranging from metal to a number of non magnetic elements. In general it resembles a realistic natural bone structure, but enhanced and strengthened by mechanical design and materials. Built firmly into the frame of Artemiss physical frame is a power core, capable of generating incredible amounts of energy. Based off of a gyrating generator, encased in a spherical shell, and surrounded by converters, adapters, and also shielding, the case is just shy of impenetrable, unless accessed physically by its maker. Within the core is a key crystalline element, situated within a series of linked, moving power rings, all sized one larger then the one it encompasses, all linked by small frictionless joints that free spin, allowing the generator to act smoothly and stably. However, it is capable of fluctuating under the influence of excessive chaos energy, and likely over driving, giving him a great deal of surplus energy. This can also be hazardous as his body might go into a fail-safe mode and shut the generator down, leaving him operating off back up power cells, until he can disperse the excess power without burning out his own systems. The next layer would entail his muscular structure and power functions. His basic muscle structure is a series of artificial muscle-like constructs, and moyamers, giving him unnatural strength for something his size, being able to lift a small car with great effort. These muscles draw power through an intricate system of wires that twine through his whole body supplying power to wherever it is most needed. His body also has a more natural ability to hold a power charge in certain areas as natural muscles and tissue would. His body is also riddled with a highly sensitive nervous system of sorts, capable of giving his movement and strength very accurate and smooth control. This allows his to experience generally all the same sensations a real person would, but heightened and refined by the technology that composes them. He also has within him a sort of circulatory system. Since his body generates a notable amount of heat in its activity, he has a fine coolant fluid that courses through his body, and is pumped by a strange sort of heart that is built into his body, and comprised of similar artificial muscle and another more interesting substance. The second most intricate and interesting part of Artemiss construction is his finer details for his skin, what also sits in his blood stream, and the material that reinforces his muscles, nervous system, and generally fills in the gaps of his body where necessary components do not, protecting them and maintaining them, Nanotech. Artemis is comprised highly of a rather advanced nanotechnology. His fur, skin and general body mass that mimics realistic tissue, is comprised of cellular sized micro machines that act in the same way natural ones would, though much stronger, and capable of being manipulated easier. Within each one is a crystalline substance that supplies them power, and the nano-processors that let them function on such a minute scale. Within the rest of his body, most notably his circulatory system are innumerable quantities of nanites that perform the most intricate and interesting functions of his intended construction. Capable of repairing damage to his body within a short period of time, nearly half of that of an organic being, quickly supplying resources to where it is most needed and even constructing objects at the molecular level, these micro machines are the pinnacle of his existence, making him an invaluable tool. Above this is an even more impressive piece of design. His artificial brain. Synthetically made, but in a fashion that resembles a real living brain, enhanced with technological fittings, protection, and incredible capacity, this A.I. brain is capable of operating far above a natural one. Augmented with not only the nanotechnology he is constructed of, but a number of computer related capacities as well, Artemis is able to interact and operate on a level on par with computers for speed, and stability. However, with his brain being made to emulate a real one, he can comprehend things in a manner more akin to his makers. Senses that many robots may not have, he is easily able to feel, and with the programming he has been given, can articulate them to some extent. His brain is also capable of adapting and learning, even thinking for his own majority of the time, making him a true A.I. But under his programming he is still guided by the commands of his maker, and has yet to discover any personal ambition or purpose beyond what he was created to be. A weapon. His brain is encased in an armored shell and reinforced by his skull after that even, making it secure and nigh untouchable, by any hands short of the ones that made him. Artemis is equipped with a rather unique head structure, containing a number of very acute scanners and sensors. While his whole body is obviously capable of sensing thing we as natural beings are capable of, but on a heightened level, along with a computer-like analysis, his most intricate senses are worked into his head. His hearing unlike living beings is incapable of being damaged merely by loud sound, as he can adjust his audio receptor settings. They are also naturally less delicate in general then real eardrums thanks to their design and materials. Next in line would be his ability to smell and taste. Since both are closely related on biological creatures, the same has been applied to Artemis but in a far more analytical manner. Refined technology-blended sensors for analyzing chemical compound, molecular and atomic structure combined with his own natural-esque sensory receptors allow him to accurately comprehend how his biological counterparts would perceive such senses, but with the ability to accurately define the chemical makeup of what he comes into contact with regarding those senses. Artemiss general appearance as his base combat frame is a white fox with a great deal of augmentation and light armoring over his body, which is all literally bonded to what looks like a sort of body suit, but is really what could be considered his skin. A slight disguise of sorts is performed by his nanites breaking down his armor and construction the faux-fur that adorns his face and otherwise exposed body parts when he appears as he was made. The overall effect makes him look quite natural, but he himself lacks a certain level of personality to pull the look off accurately without looking rigid. The unique part about his look of being a white fox though is part of a complex idea that came about when trying to organize his physical structure, and have the machines make it the way the designers wanted. Since his physical design was being based of a realistic and natural body, the complexity was very difficult to simply create on a computer. So instead, Artemiss designer, and essentially his mother, took some of her own DNA, and used the DNA/RNA as a base to design a physical body, that the micro machines could construct. In basic theory he is actually part white fox, but in a strangely different manner then one might expect. The DNA print is embedded into his brain, which was also synthesized using the same base code. That is how his body can so accurately mimic a living person, while being so unnatural. Personality - Artemis distinctly lacks one thing in all his technological prowess, and no its not just reproductive organs. Its a personality to really define him as something other then a weapon. While he is programmed with the capacity to feel and sense things to a more refined level then living things, he is also programmed with a basic understanding of emotions, but tends not to have them active a lot of the time, unless in his more casual mode. He is intelligent, and comprehensive of others feelings, but tends to shut his own ability to feel them, off. The only person who tends to request he have them active is his designer, Juli Anzhar, the woman who basically would be his mother. Over all he is a rather cold, and unsociable being to try and associate with, but for what he is, and how old he is, it is little surprise he has yet to develop a great deal of personality and gain real experience with more people then his makers and a tougher military environment. Family - Juli Anzhar; mother, cybernetisist/nanotechnician for G.U.N. Transport/b] None neccacary Weapons -Laser pistol kept in a holster that is attached to his right thigh, and charged with power from his body. -A fairly basic sword length blade that can be formed and deconstructed quickly by nano-lathing, and attaches to his forearms. Biography[/b] - (The following was written fairly long ago for another RP. If this does not fit your universe somehow I will change it as soon as possible.)) Created by Juli Anzhar, under the flag of G.U.N.s experimental technologies research and development division, the Artificial. Realistic. Tactical. Emulative. Multi-purpose. Intelligence. System. (A.R.T.E.M.I.S.) is one of the most advanced androids created thus far. Intended as a new multi role weapon against Eggmans mostly mechanical forces, Artemis has been given a number of impressive traits and skills to combat the madmans schemes and toys. He does however have an odd role, as being the first of his kind, and an example of technology built by the people, though inspired by Eggman. His original construction started before the first attempt of Eggman to come to power, in response to threats from the mad doctor, and looming rumors of the chaos to come. However, Artemis was not completed in time, and the chore was left to sonic and co. Artemis was completed less then a week after the incident, and ended up being put into testing and training stages, instead of actual field work. His first month of existence was innumerable tests and stages of downloading, as well as fine tuning and whatever else could be done to stabilize him overall. While impressive to the top brass, his creator also had a few requests, since she had designed him with the capacity to be more then just a simple fighting tool. In her expansion of his knowledge and capacity, she added more personal things into the mix, since she had already made herself, what she now felt was a son. His basic emotional understanding, a brief run down on history, literature, and a wide array of general information that wasnt all necessary to a weapons grade android was downloaded and added to his still nonexistent personality. With no way to really remove it without a very time consuming run down on his brain, the information was left in hopes it would help make him easier to function around for the other personnel. With that done he was given a name even, rather then just a serial number and acronym. Artemis Anzhar was his mothers choice, and as she would likely sic him upon anyone who disagreed, there was no argument. Juli holds what is basically the master key to Artemis overall. His codes, his control keys, the access to his mainframe and physical panels, Everything. While the technicians who worked with her on him, know the basic run down of how to do maintenance on him and fix what may be wrong most of the time, he himself and Juli tend to be the only ones capable of accessing his more vital functions. His brain being the most crucial one, which Juli herself banned any person from touching due to its obviously sensitive nature. But, sadly, Artemis was never used. Everytime the need arose for someone like him to save the day came around someone else (Primarily Sonic & Co.). So most of his relitively short life has been spent in experimentation or just shut down altoghether for extended periods of time. Moves: Nano-Lathing: This ability is interesting because of its ability to manufacture, repair and even deconstruct materials that are useful to the little android. The ability is a part of his actual physical design, since instead of blood, Artemis has the nanites that allow him to do a number of the things he does. One of their specialties is the ability to rapidly construct and deconstruct metalic objects, hence their ability to repair damage to his body, and also reassemble his combat frame armor into a faux-fur, even though still comprised of the nanotech that is his cellular structure. This ability allows him to directly attach his armor flush to his physical structure without a need for straps and such. The ability is limited to producing simple metalic tools and weapons with no moving parts. Skills: Artemiss abilities are mostly attributed to his construction, thus his best traits relate to technology. Computer Uplink: Since Artemis is basically a highly advanced computer, he has been designed with a number of technological features that allow him to interact with various other computer based devices. Small ports in the back of his neck allow him to hardwire connect himself to another terminal, computer, or even extent small cables and link himself to a stand alone device. His brain is capable of a wide number of computer related tasks, including programming, coding/decoding, hacking, information gathering, and various other related operations. While in operation, his movement range is obviously limited, and even with his ability to multitask quite skillfully, he tends to put more focus into the uplink. Adaptive traction: Another small ability attributed to Artemiss nano-lathing, and his ability to alter his physical look slightly, from being obviously artificial to being, to looking like an actual, living creature. With that trait, his attire also changes from being rather armor-like to looking like actual, Worn, boots and gloves made of fibrous materials instead of formed metals. With his boots, a manipulative structure makes up the bottoms of his boots, both kinds. Capable of changing texture, tread style, and over all traction capacity, Artemis is able to keep his footing on a great number of surface conditions, be they slick or unstable materials, though only to an extent for either one. Technical: Artemis has a rather extensive skill in computer technology, since he himself happens to be a highly advanced form of one. He has been given the knowledge to program, code/de-code, hack, and otherwise perform a wide array of computer related skills. This skill ties into his ability to access computer terminals via hardwire or remote uplink, and makes doing so much easier for him. Mechanical: This little robo-fox has been programmed with a fairly intimate knowledge of mechanical system. While obviously given his personal technical specs and an archive of what G.U.N. has for weapons, vehicles and other devices in the field, he has taken his own steps to fill in any gaps both in his own knowledge and the G.U.N. database, with the aid of his creator, to better facilitate his use in the field. He is able to repair, construct, dismantle, and even creatively jury-rig a number of mechanical devices. WEAKNESSES: Only one flaring weakness is present in Artemis. Any very high frequency vibrations will make his nanites begin to lose control of themselves. His movements will become sluggish, his hits weaker and his overall demeanor much more.... Drunken-looking would be one adjective to describe it. It also causes intense headaches and muscle cramps randomly in the body if the vibrations are strong enough and held in place for a long time.
