Angel Island Beach

RE: Angel Island Beach
Tatsuhiro’s tail uncoiled from the body, as he began to get up. As he stood, he started to move his wings, and winced. The fall had done some damage to him. Gritting his teeth and growling he dusted himself off a little, and began to walk over to where the Swatbots were.

“Just go ahead and shoot.” Tatsu spoke up dully, “I’m not at any risk to your shooting.”

RE: Angel Island Beach
Ji's mind raced. All her teammates were down, and she was still up. She wasn't sure what "terminate" meant, but it didn't sound good.

"Just go ahead and shoot. I'm not at any risk to your shooting."

Oh no you don't!

Ji dove, her royal crook still in her hands, and came down directly on top of and/or behind Tatsu (depending on what was most convenient for what she was about to do), jabbing the straight end of her crook into one of the wounds that'd been inflicted on him during the previous fight before anyone could react.

"Nobody move a muscle or dragon-boy here gets some painful discipline!" she called to the bots. (Granted, they didn't actually have muscles, but she didn't really know that.)

RE: Angel Island Beach
Gail, with his long nose down in the sand, really wanted to hoist himself up, or at least move his head so he could breathe properly. However, after several stun shots, his body definitely had different ideas. All of his limbs felt as if they were made of concrete rather than muscle and bone. No feeling, and no desire to move either.

But Gail willed himself as hard as he could, even though he felt as if he were about to black out. Tatsu would see slight muscle spasms and twitches, which looked to be growing into steadier movements. A low moan escaped the wolf's mouth, as his head started to move.

Does not compute... Remove friendly unit from danger zone." The Swat-bots twirled their heads towards each other in confusion and immediately reverted back to a default response.

"Hold fire!" The Swat-bot commander ordered when some of the Swat-bots began to instinctively lower their wrist blasters at Jii when she suddenly appeared.

Unfortunately for Tatsu, the Swat-bots have absolutely no information on him so they were operating purely on a default response to both friendly fire situations as well as hostage situations.

[For the time being, lets just assume Chadin will be out cold till I get back from vacation Aug. 8-9th. Could Gail or someone else fill in for the Swat-bots here and in the Mushroom Hill zone for the time being?]

RE: Angel Island Beach
Ji’s crook successfully hit a part of Tatsuhiro’s wing, which made his back arc as he roared out in pain. Though this only happed for a few seconds before his tail swiped low at Ji’s shins and then turned sharply around to her direction. He was diffidently one, pissed-off customer. His dull look was swapped with one that was enraged. He could have been steaming from the ears and nose by now like a bull; or dragon. He hand his right hand up like he was about to slice through whatever was in his way.

RE: Angel Island Beach
Ji was knocked off her feet by the tail swipe, but quickly flipped over and let her frills catch the wind. She managed to glide away from Tatsu, then made a quick hop off the ground to gain altitude, making sure to stay out of his reach.

The air was still relatively calm, so she would have a little trouble staying mobile.

RE: Angel Island Beach
Gail started raise himself up off the ground, shaking his head as he did so. He thought he'd heard the SWATbots say something about a "friendly unit" preventing them from firing again. Were they referring to Tatsu? It definitely seemed that way as Gail's eyes focused and allowed him to see the SWATbots just standing there.

The wolf cast a glance back towards where Tatsu seemed to be fighting with Jii.

So...if I can get Tatsu between myself and the bots, I can pick them off one by one with the revolver...get it down to a one-on-one fight again.

With a loud grunt, Gail got himself up to one knee, and slowly started walking towards the water. He decided to just let Jii handle Tatsu while he got into position. In the meantime, the SWATbots still refused to fire because Tatsu was in the shooting zone.

He brought his hand down and turned around. He started to run towards the robot firing squad. He wasn’t going to bother following Ji, because he already knew he wasn’t going to catch up. For now, he was going to get out of the robot’s way. They’d be able to take down the fast moving and agile opponents that are smart enough to not come near him.

(Sorry, forgot Chadin was on Vacation. ^^;)

Ji wasn't quite on the same page as the others, but wasn't about to let Tatsu got away that easily. She dove in the direction he'd run off, then sprung up again and continued to glide, hoping to overtake him and block his path.

She'd still make an effort to stay out of his reach, though.

RE: Angel Island Beach
Oh crap!

If Tatsu made it past the line of bots, this beach would become a shooting gallery. He had to prevent that at all costs. Gail charged up the sand as quickly as he could to keep up with Tatsu, but the stun blasts had really slowed him down.

He'd observed that Chadin's crossbow hadn't worked that well before, but maybe the natural armor would be softer in certain places. Gail took aim for the lower knees of the fleeing demon, and fired two shots. With Tatsu only making a straight run for the bots, he wouldn't be thinking about dodging.
