Mushroom Hill Zone

[Rampage]

Sonic's spin dash tore through the mushroom stalk and still had enough momentum to keep on going well clear of the mushroom as in collapsed upon itself.

"Huh?!" Rampage muttered as he suddenly found himself standing more or less on the ground again. One benefit of those mushrooms is that any landing is nice and soft.

Rampage folded his arms as he took a moment to look around. "Ground floor: raging infernos, foolish heroes, obstinate hedgehogs and one rampaging cyborg badger. Lets dance hedgehog!!" Rampage snapped his laser rifle up and opened up on him.

The Pyro-bot now recovered from its spin. Instead of closing the distance for a flame-thrower shot, this time, several tubes along the back of the bot popped open like beer steins and several mortars blasted out the top, on an intercept course with Knuckles.

The Com-bot twisted its blade arm to examine the blade, confused that it's target was still alive, with almost no damage.

"Attack yielding minimal effect. Switching to primary weapon." But that didn't distract the Com-bot long as its massive blade retracted back into its arm and equally imposing laser mini-gun emerged out of the Com-bot's right arm. Tancer would easily hear the distinct whirling sound as the mini-gun spooled up to top speed.

Meanwhile, the half-dozen or so Swat-bots still standing began to close in on Vanessa for the kill.

[Whip the Rabbit]

Whip had landed on the floor, having barely survived the kamikaze attack. He struggled to get up, still feeling tiny bits of metal in his ear. He was certainly going to feel that in the morning.
As soon as he gathered his conciousness from the grips of pain, he saw that the psychotic cyborg had engaged Sonic. Then his attention shifted to Sonic balled up physique, and he popped up and idea. He immediately dashed over to the situation, coming up on the opposite side of the badger than Sonic.
"Sonic!" He shouted, his distance from Rampage dangerously unsafe. "Do that spinny jump thing you always do! I have an idea!"

[Sonic]

“I’m not much of a dancer,” Sonic started as he began to run around Rampage; dodging the incoming fire. “I like running a whole lot better.”

As he ran, he turned his attention to Whip, who shouted to him. At first he gave the rabbit a weird look, before the bulb in his head turned on. He saw what he was getting at. He briefly smiled before quickly curling up and dashing straight into Whip’s direction.

[Tancer Fang]

Tancer grumbled to himself when the whine of the minigun reached his ears. Still doing his best to get closer to Vanessa. It had taken her no time to get over there, he on the other hand, was gonna take a minute or two.
"YO, 'Nessa, quit goofing off and get yer tail over here!"

Vanessa sprung from her position on her back. Tackling the first swat bot she could. Being capable of making such explosive movements was one of her trade marks. Even though Sonic was 100 times faster, He still had to use his feet to move.
After moving on one swat bot and hearing Tancer, Vanessa got a bright idea. She wen to pounce on a second bot planning on grind tackling it towards the purple fox.

[Knuckles]

The fireballs came at Knuckles quick. With not enough time for an evasion, he let out a mighty yell as he sent a fist flying towards the orb of flame. Much to his satisfation, it withered away to the wind. With that, he kept this process until no fire remained. Slightly exhuasted, he glanced up at the Pyro-bot with a smug grin.

"Is that all you got?" He said.

[Rampage]

"Oh come on, 'Hedgehog' I do hope you're planning to do more than just run circles around me all day?" Rampage scoffed in genuine disgust. In fact, he was even yawning with his laser rifle propped up against his shoulder as he watched Sonic spin around him in a blue blur. All of a sudden, Whip called out to him and suddenly Sonic went into one of his trademark spin dashes right toward him.

Rampage's real eye glared, already suspecting they might be trying some kind of combo attack, and from past experiences Rampage already had some idea, but it would all come down to instinct since there was simply no time for him to consciously think in the split seconds this little maneuver was going to play out.

Meanwhile the pyro-bot, having witnessed Knuckles somehow manage to destroy it's mortars mid-air, literally starting fuming. Apparently that glitch the Freedom Fighters infected Robotnik's Swat-bots with had spread a tad into various other bots too.

In any event, the Pyrobot charged at Knuckles, with its flamethrower firing at full steam.

The Swat-bot Vanessa was aiming for that she was planning to grind did manage to fire off a shot as she came barreling in on it, but like all Swat-bots it was not designed for close-quarters hand-to-hand fighting. Vanessa would easily manage to make contact with it.

Tancer on the other hand was about to end up in a world of hurt as the Com-bot's mini-gun laser cannon opened up. Firing a stream of pulse beams so fast as to practically appear like a continuous, pulsing line, the bot swung its imposing arm in a strafing sweep at Tancer. A mushroom stalk was cut cleanly in two as the stream of hellish red ripped through it with ease; and Tancer was the very next thing that stream would hit.

[Whip the Rabbit]

In what looked like a practiced maneuver, Whip tossed Sonic's curled hurling body high up into the air with a back flip-kick, landing on one knee and immediately looking up at his new improvised weapon.
Whip turned his back to Rampage and crouched down so far that he could headbutt his own feet, and in that instant, skyrocketed into the air. As he approached the hedgehog's spinball, he pulled his body backwards, his eyes getting a split-second's glance at Rampage, and then swung his leg, full force, kicking Sonic's body like a rocket straight into the floor beneath the cyborg's feet.

[Tancer Fang]

Tancer turned around hearing the constant noise from the mini-gun. A constant stream of swears coming from Tancer as he knew what was about to happen. Tancer couldn't absorb energy attacks nearly as well as could absorb standard projectiles. The line of red pulse shots splashing off his upper body like water. The purple fox took about 3 seconds before he was bowled over by the mini gun.

[Vanessa Blue]

Vanessa avoided the shot by moving to the side. She was planning on going towards Tancer and happened to move out of the way. Leaping on the bot, she forced it's head into the ground as she used it as a makeshift wake board. Sliding towards Tancer, the com bot would soon find it self faced with foes.

[Sonic]

[BLITZEBALL!]

With his speed combined with Whips kick and a little shove from gravity, Sonic would end up hitting the ground where Rampage stood, and hard. It would be a powerful attack; and if Rampage somehow managed to dodge, he might end up getting hit with degree somehow. It would create a mini-crater, and dust would be the least side-effect of the combo.

Sonic would stand up after it was finished, shaking his head a little. He would place his clenched hands on his waist as he would look around and whistle.
