RE: The Hollowbrook
"hmmm, Child art thou hiding thy horns for a reason? This is the house of Valtien, have I not proven to be your ally and benefactor?" She leaned on the arm rest of the recliner. Getting some what closer to Terridere.
"Though, I must know, what are you? A demon hellspawn? Or perhaps some wonderful creature I have yet to encounter in this world." While Priscilla was speaking Relic returned with a loaf of bread and a few cans of pork and beans. Having no idea what a can open was, He proceeded to open them with the gigantic left gauntlet he still wore. Vanessa Tancer Priscilla Relic Drake |

RE: The Hollowbrook
"It's not that...it's...." Teri muttered, seriously shying away. "I'm.. not a monster..."
Teridere looked like she was suddenly under a spotlight. She shifted her legs nervously, and grasped on hand with another. Her ears attempted to cover as much of her forehead as possible. "....People.... people say that, that I'm a monster... but I'm not." Her voice cracked as if she were going to cry, but her eyes stayed dry. "My friend... He told me we were special." Teri rook a moment of pause, and then turned her gaze to Priscilla and bowed. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, hide anything from you." She apologized, revealing her horns once more. "I just, didn't want you to throw me away." |

RE: The Hollowbrook
"Monster?!" Priscilla had a puzzled look on her face. She felt for the girl, but sh herself wasn't so good at expressing feeling and the like. Even with a twinge of maternal instincts kicking in. "Terri, thou art no monster. That is a monster." she motioned to Relic. "But do not fear him and only fear me casting thou off if you ever betray me." she tossed the girl a piece of bread. "Let us put all this dreariness behind us, Queen is to small of a tittle for me! I will have it all, there will not be a single thing I can not throw coin at!" she took a big bite of bread herself.
Relic to a knee quietly off in the corner. His gaze falling onto Terridere. Cold emotionless. He was studying her. With her powers she could make a terrifying assassin. A motion hinting at malice towards Priscilla would result in Terri finding out why Priscilla had a reason to call him a monster. Vanessa Tancer Priscilla Relic Drake |

RE: The Hollowbrook
"...."All Teridere could do was nod gratefully. She expected things to turn much differently. Much worse, from the looks of Priscilla and Relic. she was stricken silent and caught the slowly descending bread in her hand.
"....Thank you. I won't, I promise..." Teri shook her head and took a bite. She squat down on the floor with her legs crossed and looked up at Priscilla. "Lady Priscilla, what do you plan on doing now?" |

RE: The Hollowbrook
"plan?" Priscilla repeated. "To fill my purse with coin, my dear child. To become so rich I could buy my way into heaven!" she took a bite of bread. "But before I can do that, I would need to get certain things. Men and equipment. You're looking at the great baroness, my dear." she had a finger extended towards Terridere as if to state 'and don't you forgot it'
Relic let out a rather depressed mummer. Between a sigh and a moan. She spoke big but he knew it would he who had to do the lion share. "Quiet you." Priscilla snapped at him. "I do not keep you around so you can express your discontent." Vanessa Tancer Priscilla Relic Drake |

RE: The Hollowbrook
"Baroness?" Teridere asked herself. "Like the pizza place?"
Teri shook her head quickly and then took a moment of thought. Suddenly, she looked as if she had a million questions, and wanted to bombard Priscilla with them all. "You're going to make more friends? Will we all have to sleep in this room? What equiptment do you need? How are you going to make money like that? Does heaven really take donations? What are you going to do now?" Teri took a moments consideration, and with a glance at Relic, she asked absentmindedly, "How did you two meet? You seem like such good friends." |

RE: The Hollowbrook
"I'll answer that in all due time, My dear." Priscilla turned away finishing her piece of bread. Taking a small note book from a tiny dresser, she began to write in it. Almost instantly becoming lost in her plans to become filthy rich by any means.
Relic took up a seat next to Teridere. Even sitting hunched forward he was at least twice as tall as Teri standing. "The first time I encountered milady." He began his voice was deep and gruff. "She had spent all of an hour trying to lose her sword into my rib cage." Vanessa Tancer Priscilla Relic Drake |

"She was? But does that mean..." Teri paused for a second.
"Does that mean you were a bad guy?" |

Relic had a wry look on his face. He couldn't undermine Priscilla, but he didn't want to lie to Teridere. Knowing that Priscilla's will was what he had sworn to follow, he let out an exhale. "Yes, I was very bad."

RE: The Hollowbrook
"I bet you weren't that bad, if Lady Priscilla saw some good in you!" She chimed. "But, it's a little scary to think of you like that. I'm glad you're a hero now."
Teri's naivety glew almost like radiation, with her sight like black and white when it came to moral orientation. She yawned a bit, and then asked, "Um, what time is it?" |
