RE: The Hollowbrook
Relic gave a quick, but tentative look towards Priscilla.
"Let them go." She sneered. The giant knight motioned as if he was going to respond, but he seemed to hold his tongue. he knew what Priscilla wanted, Destroy them at their strongest. Show with out a shadow of a doubt that their will would be unable to be resisted. "March." the she wolf commanded, tapping the large fox with her foot. "We follow this bloody knight on the first steps of conquest!" As the knight made his way out of the window, a tight fit even after removing it entirely . His gaze never left Nail. Regardless if Nail was tired or bored of their demeanor it did not change the fact that the fox could single handily shred the half breed. Vanessa Tancer Priscilla Relic Drake |

RE: The Hollowbrook
Wait...wait...we're going RIGHT NOW?!
Nail's suddenly looked as if he'd been struck hard in the gut. His eyes popped wide open and his jaw fell down. He thought they'd at least spend some time making a plan. But they were really going to charge straight into the hornet's nest like this? He couldn't believe it! In any case... "Hey, any of you got a gun?" he whispered to those near him, as he put a paw on their shoulders to get their attention. "If we're going now, I need a gun." Those near him looked at him like he was crazy. However, a younger one, a lynx, stepped forward. Nail recognized him as one of the people he'd personally greeted and put at ease as he'd first let them into the room. Seems being friendly had paid off. The lynx kid drew out an old Colt M1911 from his pocket with a holster, plus a few spare magazines. "Here...keep it. You seem like a good guy. I just bought a newer gun any way." Nail gratefully accepted the pistol, although as he checked it he saw the gun had some rough spots. Rust covered the metal in a few places, although when he checked the slide it seemed to pull backwards cleanly. So the gun's operation ought to be fine. The sights looked good too, although it had older-style sights instead of a newer three-dot sight. But he'd manage. He'd also want to get a rubber grip. Seeing this gun gave him hope he could get all of these fixed later no problem. At least in his old dimension, they'd been making the Colt M1911 for over 100 years and you had a plethora of custom parts to choose from. Surely he could get ahold of some better kit later if he could come across this gun this easily here. And if not he could probably do some custom work himself given the right equipment. All of this went through his head in the space of ten seconds. "Thank you," Nail said succinctly, smiling at the lynx. As he took the gun he considered trying to shoot Priscilla and Relic with it, but he sincerely doubted that would work. Even if he did kill Priscilla before she teleported away he bet Relic would chase him to the ends of the earth in revenge. Nail sure didn't want to try taking on Relic with anything smaller than an anti-material Barret rifle. So, regretfully, he clipped the holster to his belt and put the handgun back into it as he waited for Relic to lead the way. |

RE: The Hollowbrook
The wolf made her way from Relic's palm to take a seat on his shoulder. Sitting side saddle, like a rich W.A.S.P. on horse back. "He hates me you know." she whispered into the giant's ear.
Relic gave a nod. He had stored his equipment out here on the on the fire escape. Deciding to take up the shield. Much like everything on Relic it seemed for suited for attacking then defending. With that he took on large step off the crossed steel structure. Plummeting to the ground below, landed with a loud clank. When he hit the ground, he fell to one knee. Not for his sake but to absorb the shock for Priscilla. The others could follow by climbing down the ladder normally. The wolf let out a yawn, kicking one of her legs idly. "Should fill his gut with coin and have him be on his merry way. Never had a cut throat wake me in the night because he was too well off." Priscilla under stood if you double crossed people they some times came back for revenge. So she had a stringent policy of only stabbing people in the back she planned on actually stabbing in the back. The wolf also made sure to only stab people in the back who she was sure didn't have someone in their steed to bother her, or if it was really important. The pair started off at a slow enough pace for any one to catch up. Priscilla did not need the turn coat's for muscle, Relic covered that in spade. she need them for what they knew about the place. Like traps or hidden caches. Vanessa Tancer Priscilla Relic Drake |

RE: The Hollowbrook
A small group of the turncoats quickly ran to the window as they saw Relic jump with Priscilla. They couldn't believe their eyes as the pair appeared to be completely unharmed from the fall. With some hesitancy, a few of them began climbing out on the fire escape and clambered down to rejoin their new bosses.
As Nail put the pistol back, one of his fingers briefly brushed something square inside his pocket. For a second he wondered what it was, but then remembered he'd put the strange cell phone thing he'd found earlier in there. What had it been doing all this time? It was quite talkative before... In any case, Nail pulled it out and saw that SOLIS appeared to have gone to sleep, like any other cell phone would. He shrugged, as he prodded the touch screen a bit. "Hey, you still awake?" He felt content to let the group go ahead first, as he too started heading down the fire escape with SOLIS in paw. Before long the hooligans would be on the ground and beside Priscilla. The raccoon who'd been leading the group before stepped up to the wolf, albiet with some hesitancy this time. "Remember that bar you met me at? Our hideout is over there. That's where Ajax will be, and we'll need to whack him to take over this branch of the Guild." |

RE: The Hollowbrook
SOLIS made the electronic equivalent of a yawn, flashing various diagnostics quickly across it's screen as it "woke up." Immediately it recognized it's recent acquaintance, Nail, and tried to remember what it was last doing. Unfortunately, the last thing it seen before its batteries ran dry was that rather fearsome looking Relic entity.
"Hello, Nail. Do forgive me for suddenly going dark on you. I had no choice in the matter. May I asked what I missed while I was out?" While it felt unchanged, SOLIS continued to run diagnostics in the background to ensure the brute and it's controller hadn't changed anything. The way Relic spoke made it slightly uncomfortable. |

RE: The Hollowbrook
Seeing as they group had caught up with the two. Relic began his trek towards the bar they had been to before. Each of his steps let out a stamping sound. The metal joints creaking and clanking. The various chain and chainmail slinking around made the fox an assortment of eerie and dreadful sounds. What a walking execution would sound like.

RE: The Hollowbrook
"Quite a bit..."
Nail said to SOLIS, as he watched Priscilla's new gang follow her and Relic down the street. Every passerby close to the group immediately got off the street and ducked inside a building if he/she could. Relic and Priscilla had built up quite a reputation for themselves, what with all the spottings of such a huge, demonic knight running around town. "It looks like we're going off to battle." The hybrid really didn't like this. He considered deserting Priscilla, but then she'd probably turn the gang on him once she found out he'd run off. And he really had no idea where he would go once he left Beauty and the Beast behind. Priscilla looked like she was getting ready to spread her net of power long and wide. If he wanted to disappear from her organization, he needed a solid plan. And this time it wouldn't be as easy as disappearing from F4, considering all the money he and Canma bilked from F4 had vanished along with his former dimension. So with much reluctance, he kept silent with one hand on the Colt's grip as he followed the pack. [Yeah, topic change to that bar. Are you going to do it?] |
