RE: Rum Valley bar (Thieves meet up)
Teridere's eyes frightfully darted to the lynx, then to the people behind her, then back at her. She nervously pushed herself up in an attempt to be on equal ground, but her diminutive two feet and eight inches failed at any goals she may have been trying to accomplish.
"I-I'm... fine. I'm fine, thank you." She stuttered, her hands held together. Something about the way they were jeering scared Teridere, but she couldn't comprehend it past anything but intimidation. |

RE: Rum Valley bar (Thieves meet up)
The raccoon appeared to not be phased by Priscilla's demeanor. He'd done these sort of dealings for a while now and was used to dealing with pushy characters.
After slipping the money into a bag, he stood up and appeared to be preparing to leave. "Well, if you want to go, we're pretty much done here. I'm going to need a couple days or so to round people up. Do you have a way I can contact you once I get your team together? Like a phone number?" --- The lynx and company resumed laughing it up as Teridere said she was fine. "Oh no, I don't think you're fine. There's lots of awful dangerous folks around here, you know. Hahaha...." He turned back to give a little wink to all his comrades. One of the crowd, a mongoose, briefly glanced in the nearby alleyway, and couldn't help but notice the rather large silhouette crouched near the ground. His laughter stopped, as he observed the figure. But the darkness of the alleyway prevented him from seeing what it was. Regardless, an ominous feeling passed over the mongoose, and he slowly retreated back behind the others. |

RE: Rum Valley bar (Thieves meet up)
"No, I do not have a phone humber." Priscilla said sternly "I can be reached at the Hollowbrook Hotel, floor 4, room 4A." she added just as serious. With out giving the Raccoon time to object she stood up from her seat. Clearing the dust from her bottom she made her exit.
With a brisk pace she made her way hrough the bar. Weaving between drunk or lonely patrons trying to 'bump' into the white wolf. Nearly bursting through the door to outside. Lady Priscilla did not have the fresh smile she expected to have from eaving the stuffy RUm Valley bar. A group of eyesores lay before her. Each one offending her senses more then the last. Curling her lips into a snarl of disgust. "Ugh, filthy creatures, this city is full of them." the wolf complained to herself. She threw Teridere half a glance. Not comepletely devoid of sympathy, she didn't want to show kindness either. It would often get you mistaken for prey. So actively starting a quarrel with the men surrounding the teen ager was her way of helping. Vanessa Tancer Priscilla Relic Drake |

Teridere shrunk into the wall. She wasn't sure who scared her more; The group of rough-looking people who kept laughing, or this canine who seemed like a walking dead-silence zone. Either way, she stayed quiet, attempting to calm her quivering and hoping nobody could feel her heartbeat speed up.

RE: Rum Valley bar (Thieves meet up)
As Priscilla left, the raccoon gave a little snort as he moved for the other exit out of the room.
Thinks she's such hot ####, doesn't she? But business is business. I can handle people like her. And with that he walked out of the little meeting room. --- Nearby, a hare overhead Priscilla's little quip, and narrowed his eyes. He held an empty liquor bottle in his hand, which he smashed against a nearby brick wall. Pointing the sharp edges at her, he shouted "What was that, little miss?!" As Priscilla planned, much of the mob's attention shifted to her so that Teridere would be briefly forgotten. Simultaneously, a lot of he heads snapped in Priscilla's direction. And as eyes laid on her, a few of the men couldn't help but lick their lips. [All right, I guess it's time to demonstrate how powerful Relic is again by using these guys as victims XD] |

RE: Rum Valley bar (Thieves meet up)
Priscilla did not even bat an eye lash at the lynx's aggressive gesture. Calmly lifting her right hand almost chest level, she made a snap with her fingers. A satisfied look coming over her face.
On queue the large knight leaped from the shadows. Soaring past Teridere and landing in front of the white wolf. His titanic frame seemed to shake the entire street as he landed. Raising his right hand to the heavens. He spread his chain mail wings. Pulling the thugs closer to him with his darkness wing flaps. His left gauntlet greedily looking for victims to latch on to. Relic would be capable of grabbing 2 or even 3 thugs at once. Priscilla turned back to the pink colored girl. With out her consent embracing her in a loose hug. Priscilla knew how frightful Relic could be, It wasn't unheard of people dropping stone cold just from him making an appearance. "Nay child, advert your gaze, this demon's work is best left unseen." the she-wolf stood at five feet and two inches, nearly twice Teridere's height. Relic completely dwarfed every one at over six and a half feet. Priscilla's kindness wasn't with out motive. A child sitting here like this had to be a run away or an orphan. A perfect candidate to become a faithful house servant. Vanessa Tancer Priscilla Relic Drake |

Teridere responded to the knight's appearance with surprise, but was even more surprised to find herself in the embrace of the wolf. For a second, she feared she was being attacked, but when she realized what was happening, she became motionless. A flash of images ran through Teridere's mind, of how singled out she was, and of how dangerous and terrifying the world had become. For a moment, her own thoughts betrayed her and scared her, and she could do nothing more than clutch the lady as tightly as she could.

RE: Rum Valley bar (Thieves meet up)
[It was a hare with the broken bottle, not the lynx]
One second the hare was looking at Priscilla...and then he suddenly found himself staring at a wall of armor right after she snapped her fingers. The impact of Relic landing on the ground actually made him fall over, which took him totally by surprise. He scrambled to get onto his feet. It took him a second just to figure out what happened, but then his blood ran ice cold as he looked up at Relic's face. Stumbling backwards, he ran for his life, but fell right into Relic's grasp because of his darkness wings flaps. The lynx harassing Teridere also got yanked in. Everyone else continually fought against the mysterious force and tried to escape. The jeering crowd suddenly degenerated into screaming, raving lunatics as they all scattered like mice from a cat. In very short order, the street cleared out except for Teridere, Priscilla, Relic, and the two captured thugs. Meanwhile, the lynx and the hare--who'd been acting so tough just seconds before--now were suddenly very apologetic for their behavior. "LET ME GO! PLEASE LET ME GO! I DIDN'T MEAN ANYTHING!" the lynx bawled out, as he continually tried to worm out of his grasp. "PLEASE MAKE HIM LET US GO!" the hare cried, looking in Priscilla's direction. Tears welled from his eyes. "I WAS WRONG TO BE CROSS WITH YAH!" |

RE: Rum Valley bar (Thieves meet up)
Priscilla had nothing short of a smug look on her face. "Silence the trash." the wolf commanded leading Teridere away from the scene. The wolf spoke with a softer tone to the girl, as soft as Priscilla could get. "What is thy name? Art thou a child of the street?"
Relic let out a low growl. Closing his left gauntlet tighter and tighter. Compacting the two animals diaphragms until they both passed. With a mighty heave he threw the now limp bodies into the alley as if nothing more then used tissue. Before any one got the nerve to stay around and become an on looker the large knight decided it was best to disappear back into the dank shadows of the back alleys. RE: Rum Valley bar (Thieves meet up)
"My name is Teridere. Please call me Teri." She responded. She gave a small smile to the wolf before continuing.
"I don't have a home, so I guess that makes me a child of the streets." Teridere's ears were notably pushed foreward, covering most of her forehead and looking uncomfortable. "What's your name ma'am?" She asked politely. |
