Satisfaction flowed through the echidna as he watched his attack was successful. His facial expression remained much like his element as he knew it was far from over. He watched his enemy yank the parking meter from the ground. He was impressed with the feat of strength. His mind thought how to advance towards him. Using the earth around him may not be effective considering this brute may just smash through the rocks. He needed his staff, but the only problem was it was lying behind the brute. As he stared at his weapon, he realized when he thought about wielding it; the staff donned a glow for a brief second. Could this be a way to get it back?

He pointed a palm at it and focused his Geokinetic energies. It may appear as if he was about to unleash some sort of earth attack, which is what he was hoping the brute would think. However, his eyes widened as he watched the staff being hoisted in the air from his very thoughts. He positioned it horizontally with a circular motion of his wrist, than pulled his arm back. Much to his satisfaction, it flew through the air towards him. Hopefully with the way it was situated, it would knock his adversary onto his feet. Terrador would then grasp it firmly once it reached him and braced himself for an attack. He figured he’d get on this guy’s nerves by now and he needed to be ready.

Am followed Gichii across the expanse to the other building as Sarah took another pass overhead. The rooftops were a swirl of dust and random gusts of wind the ship had generated on it's fly by's.

"Gichii Lets do it." He said slipping around the side of the A/C and began making his way from hiding place to hiding place making a bee line for Nail.

As Sarah made another pass she began hearing whooshing sounds as the ships over shield flared around the ships hull. It would now be apparent to anyone that the ship had some sort of protective energy shield over it's hull.

"what on..." Sarah began but was cut off as a series of warning light flashed across the holographic displays that made up the avionics.

"They're shooting at me!" she exclaimed.

She made one more pass before retreating into the sky away from the small arms fire below coming to a rest a few hundred feet above the battle field.

"sorry Am I can't risk the ship"

[Nail Strafer]

"Glad that's over..." Nail mumbled, as he watched the ship take off. A little sore from his fall, he rubbed the back of his head as he rose to his feet again.

Suddenly, he thought he heard a thumping sound on his rooftop, like someone jumping over to it. The hybrid whirled around in the blink of an eye, immediately bringing the Garand to bear. There were no more sounds, but he felt sure that now he had company, hiding behind something on this roof with him.

Nail expected an up close confrontation, so he very slightly changed his grip on the rifle. Giichi and Am would notice that Nail appeared to be holding the gun more like a spear now, as the bayonet wavered around ready to intercept any threat. The pair of them wouldn't be much further away than twenty feet now.

Meanwhile, on the street below, the brute frowned as he watched Terrador do that hand motion again. He honestly didn't know what to expect, but he figured it would be better to move around than stand in one place. So the brute started to circle around Terrador instead, rather like a predator getting ready to take down its prey.

It was then that the human thought he heard a scraping sound on the ground behind him. Turning around, he had just enough time to watch in amazement as Terrador's thrown stick returned straight to its owner. It had nearly tripped him over, so the brute was glad he'd decided to move a little bit.

"Pretty neat trick..." the brute said in a thick, deep voice. It was a genuine compliment.

The human didn't seem to have much of a long term memory though, as he started running straight at Terrador, wielding his parking meter around like a club. He would take one hard overhead swing directly at Terrador's head.

[Giichi Twinkieland]

[Sorry if it feels like I'm skipping you Am. But I really wanted to try this.]

He's within 20 feet...

In a split second, he could be right at Nail's side. Of course, what happened next after the flash step would be anybody's guess. Regardless, the cat got his sais ready. They were meant for blocking attacks from swords after all, so it might work pretty good with a bayonet.

Tensing himself, Giichi promptly jumped out from behind cover. Nail immediately turned to bring his rifle to bear, but before the hybrid could do it all the way, Giichi had already executed his Speed Jump technique. In what looked like teleportation, the cat seemed to warp from his position behind the rooftop garden to standing directly next to Nail.

Nail got one split second to react in surprise, before Giichi brought up one of his sais hard to stop the downward slash from the Garand's bayonet. The cat allowed himself the tiniest of grins...before he found himself staring down the barrel of a pistol. The cat honestly had no idea what had just happened, and it took a second to recognize he was in deep, deep trouble now.

"You're fast..." the hybrid said. "...but not fast enough."

Nail now had one hand on the rifle and Giichi held it pointed away from both of them with his sai. But Nail's other hand had just snatched his pistol out of its holster with a speed that would make Mad Dog McCree jealous.

No...way... If Sonic had the world record for fastest legs...this guy probably had it for fastest hands...

Giichi's gaze wandered up from the barrel of the gun to his opponent's face. Now that he was up close, Giichi felt almost dead certain this guy was a relative of Gail somehow. He had the same eerie, yellow eyes. However, he looked considerably older with wrinkles under his fur, not to mention he didn't exactly look like a wolf either. Could he be Gail's dad or something?

"Tell your friend to come on out."

Giichi gulped down a lump in his throat, as he looked in Am's general direction. He hoped Am had a pretty good plan to get out of this.

[Hiding under a car til the fighting's over, I suppose. SOLIS isn't much of a fighter.]

( Sorry, real life issues... and partial writer's block which I’m thankfully getting over XD )

Terrador grasped his staff as it returned to him. A green glow emanated from the weapon and all of the echidna’s visible markings.

“You have yet to witness the true power I possess.” He replied with confidence in his tone. His emerald orbs watched the oncoming bulk of a man charging at him with heavy steps. Being the defensive fighter he was, he analyzed every last move hoping to recognize some sort of attack so he could counter. The powerful overhead swing came at him with great force. Deflecting a blow like that could result in unpleasant consequences. Even with his formidable strength, Terrador knew in this clash of brute force, his adversary would prevail. There was no time to sidestep either and he needed to find a way to face this head on with no implications. He placed his staff horizontally above his head while only bending his elbows to a small degree.

Focusing his Geokinetic energies, the staff was hoisted in midair almost half a foot above his head. The weapons connected and the Baculum Petra was brought down significantly, nearly striking its wielder. Terrador strenuously focused his energies to keep the weapons in place. Only his mind was used for this, so both hands were free. But given the power behind the brute’s attack, the Geomancer would have only a mere couple seconds before he lost control. With a spirited shout, he sent a two quick, spiked fists aiming for his gut with all the strength he could. Given his mental stress at the moment, the strikes would pale in comparison to what he would usually unleash. He was just hoping to inflict enough damage for him to back away.

[Echo]

"Alright alright, chill out man, everything's alright. Look I'm unarmed ok? I'm coming out with my claws up."

Am slowly slipped out into view of Nail and Gichii.

"Just take it easy man everythin....."

Am fell silent instantly freezing in place as his eyes fell on Nail.

"I know you! I mean..well..I don't 'know you' know you but I know of you."

Am stared a moment before continuing.

"You're Nail Strafer aren't you. Yeah, I've read about you. We're dealing with a celebrity here Gichii. You see this guy used to be one of the leaders of F4 way back when. Supposedly hates the Humans so much He's tried on more than one occasion to wipe them all out. If the stories can be believed Nail is a gun slinger and marksman almost without peer. I heard there's only one other person in the world in the same league as Nail. He's a human ironically enough Named Jav. I'm sure that's not his real name but noone knows his real name."

Am was trying to strike up a conversation to do one of either two things. Stir Nail to try and shoot him thus giving Gichii the opportunity to strike or Allow Am to get close enough to Nail to get a fire strike in without harming Gichii.
