RE: Launch Base Zone
Sonic could help but look a bit bewildered at Alpha’s reaction, not to mention a bit bad. But considering he had just signed the agreement, it’d be forfeit if he lost, and that wouldn’t be good either. He would just have to get this fight over with.
He soon placed on his trademark smirk as he looked towards the lizard. “Awlright then, I’ll just catch up with you later. I’ll give you the honor of crashing this gig first.” It was probably a good idea to get this guy out of the fight anyways. Without much of a thought, he ran towards his opponent, getting right hand ready to punch. |

RE: Launch Base Zone
Tatsuhiro’s eyes narrowed when he saw this movement. He didn’t really think it was going to work, but he was going to try anyways. In a lot of senses it should work perfectly due to the small space, but he knew Sonic all to well.
He did a small dash forward, closing the gap between them before jumping. When he jumped it could be seen that he was starting to twirl, before a black and violet wind-like energy started to surround him before it appeared to be like a twister that came to a point. The hedgehog’s eyes widened at the sight out of shocking, not knowing what it was, but tried to dodge it. [Driving Fang] But, it didn’t work. While he wasn’t hit head on, he still got hit from the top impact, as well as getting knocked by the energy from the side. An array of scratches appeared across the left side of his body before he was knocked far backwards. Being so light, and being hit while he was still half-way through the air from the dodge only helped to send him flying back. He landed in the dirt, dust rising from the landing as he skipped like a rock on water until he finally came to a stop. He wasn’t knocked out, but his eyes were closed as he regained himself from the hit. As the dust cleared it would be seen that Sonic’s body was just a centimeter away. Tatsuhiroe hand landed, five inches inside from the line and looked at the hedgehogs body. His expression was that of shock. He…couldn’t believe it. It actually worked. But…how? Sonic could of just hopped over it, and hit him from behind. Or ran in the opposite direction. But all he could think of doing was trying to dodge it from the side!? The monster was obviously quite puzzled at the way the entire thing had ended. In fact, it was a bit of a downer. This was the blue demon? The very same hedgehog that gave Robotnik problems. “I think….the tables have suddenly turned for me…” He began as his face went back to it’s usual dull demeanor. “You know…I thought that would have lasted a lot longer…after all the last time I did this I won, but collapsed five seconds after Sonic did. And now I just beat you in five seconds, without using any energy at all. ….I…am severally disappointed…” It sounded like he was talking to Sonic, but he was really talking to himself. Because in all of his time had he ever beat Sonic so easily- even when using a gimmick like this. This other Sonic…was DEFIDENTLY not his rival, the blue demon. Ironiclly enough, it was just like he used to be, and something about that made him feel incredible disappointed. [ I am incredibly sorry for this anti-climatic fight; really I am. I really wanted to make it drawn out, but considering that it would leave you alone-AND- the fact that I’d be writing most of the fight, I just decided to have it end very simply. Really, this is –not- how I wanted the fight to end. But think of it this way- I could have ended it A LOT worse. I could of just had Tatsuhiro step to the side and trip him with his tail. :/ So at least I did it with some dignity. And I know you waited for 3 days and got this horrible ending fight, but I was trying to figure out what to do as well as what to do with you. And this really anti-climatic fight is what it boiled down to. I’m so ashamed. But I accomplished what I needed to do; which was allowing the players to figure things out and not rely as much on Sonic. @_@ I’ll probably have Tatsuhiro and Sonic fight later, and have Nail take over the account for it (for Tatsu’s sake). ] |

RE: Launch Base Zone
[Since Robo has left the topic, I'll start playing as Robo's forces in the area now. If you want to pursue Robotnik, maybe you could head for the tunnel he's going into. Just expect a big fight along the way
]Except for the SWATbot being controlled directly by Rose, Robotnik's forces had pulled out of the battle's general area and back towards the main encampment. The most visible fixture would be the large factory ship in the middle of the camp. Dump-truck-like bots appeared to be driving into it via ramps, with their buckets full of rock. Meanwhile, another line of the dump truck bots came down another ramp with their buckets empty. If Alpha followed the lines of automated trucks with his eye, he'd see them leaving and entering a tunnel on the far side of the compound. Security looked rather tight too. SWATbots trooped around in groups, sticking close to the operations, and keeping an eye out for intruders. The occasional SWATpod also buzzed over head, keeping an eye on things from the air. However, the encampment had a lot of old construction from Robotnik's previous base here in the Death Egg days. Alpha could possibly use it to get closer to the action. The construction bots hadn't yet demolished all of it. He'd probably want to dispose of Rose's SWATbot first though, before she could call in more security. |

RE: Launch Base Zone
[Apologies for the lack of a reply. I've been very busy and tired lately, and lacking motivation. I honestly found the end of the fight to be very funny, it just seemed so obvious.]
Omega stopped and surveyed the area in front of him, looking at all the different robots and machines, as well as the buildings. "Man... This won't be easy... Then again, nothing concerning Robotnik ever seems to be easy. Alright then, where to start...?" He looked around once more, and his eyes settled on the lone SWATbot under Rose's control. He aimed his buster at it, and held his breath to steady his hand. "One bot's as good as another, but this one is just a bit too close for me..." so saying, he fired off three quick shots at it, praying his aim wasn't off. |

RE: Launch Base Zone
Rose's SWATbot went down with a quick double tap on the chest, followed by a shot to the noggin, leaving a smoking hole where its central processing unit would be in its head. Of course, it was only one of many robots out here, so Alpha had better pray he could do that about 1,000 more times in a row if he got into a big fight. Stealth would definitely be much better here.
It wouldn't be a long walk to where the empty dump truck robots formed a line leading into the mine off into the distance. Perhaps Alpha might want to try getting into one and see why the robots were going in and out of there. Of course, he'd have to be careful of the SWATbots patrolling the convoy line. He'd see one standing every hundred feet or so along the line. |

[Radio Call for Robotnik from Rampage]
"Yo, Robotnik, this is Rampage. I just took down some no-class chump over here, but no sign of any other serious threats so far. What's the situation over by you?" |

RE: Launch Base Zone
Tatsuhiro’s ears twitched a little as he heard a beeping sound come from his communicator. Reaching into his pocket, he got the small device out and opened it up to hear the familiar voice from before.
[“Okay, Tatsuhiro; I need you to get over towards the beach area right now!”] He looked around, seeing as a nearby SWATpod coming over towards him. He then looked back down to his communicator. “What is it?” He asked quite simply. [“There are a couple of miscreants over there that aren’t dead yet. I would appreciate if you changed that.”] The pod arrived a opened up, the two bots inside simply looked towards him. [“These guys will take you there, considering your slow and all. While you do that I’ll tell the Doctor the good news.”] The connection ended, making him give off a unenthusiastastic ‘hmpf’, as he closed the communicator and got onto the SWATpod. The doors closed before it took off, towards the sandy beaches of the place. [To Angle Island Beach] |

RE: Launch Base Zone
[This is Nail taking over, since Rose wanted me to handle Sonic a bit as she doesn't feel up to it at the moment.]
Sonic couldn't believe it. He never expected in his life he'd lose so easily. He actually pinched himself to make sure he was not dreaming right now, and sadly he definitely felt the pain. For a moment, he stood still, not really moving nor acknowledging Tatsuhiro again. What would he do now? Sonic was brash, but he was an honest hedgehog at heart and could not break a promise. He couldn't attack any of Robo's machines now. Although this demon guy hadn't said anything about Robo himself or his flesh and blood allies. Perhaps he could just go straight to where the doctor was and attack him head on. He'd just have to get there without destroying everything in his path like he usually would. As he thought about it, he realized that actually sounded like an interesting challenge. And if anyone loved putting himself to the test, it was Sonic. Smiling, he waved to Tatsu and said "See ya around demon boy, nice fighting you!" and sped off to a nearby hill to observe Robo's encampment. The first thing that grabbed his attention was all the robots coming in and out of the hole at the far end of the quarry. Dumptruck-like bots went in empty, then came back out full of rocks and rubble, which were then taken to that big ship with the huge chimneys. Looks like Sonic had been right after all about this having to do with the emeralds. He was mining for them. "Well, I'll just have to go tell the foreman this mining operation needs a permit before digging can start!" He leaped off of the hill, easily landing inside an empty dumptruck bot without being seen. Sonic waited, tapping his foot of course, as the machine slowly made its way inside the mine. While this would work, he did wish he could just rush in like he normally would... [To Lava Reef zone] |

RE: Launch Base Zone
-----
“What’s this?” He had handed the man in front of him a simple, medium sized brown parasol. The voice was familiar to him, but his face and image was blurred like a smug mark on his glasses. He felt a smile tug at his lips, placing his hands in his pockets. “For my Grandchild, of course.” He began, in a happy tone. “For their tenth birthday.” He couldn’t see him, but he felt like the man in front of him was unhappy, as he could see the brown package clearly as the man’s arm went to his side. “Comon’ pops. Not this stuff again…” the voice started, sounding disbelieving, “You’re going to be around plenty of years. How can it be that the most optimistically thinking man in the world is being so pessimistic?” He gave out a very gruff laugh. “Blame it on my wife.” He heard the man in front of him laugh. “…What you put inside it?” the man asked awkwardly, as though he wasn’t going to bother with a same-old story he usually told. “Just a little robot. Fairly simplistic; by our standards. Figured whether it’d be a boy or girl they’d have some knack in science.” “Of course. Why would it be any other way? So, how’s-” --- Gerald began to come to, as his senses started to come back to life. He groaned, this felt worse than the time he was knifed. At least he wasn’t bleeding, or at least he thought he wasn’t. He shook his head a little, trying to forgot the foggy and out-of-place images he had seen play out in his head. He didn’t know where it came from, or who was there, or even what it was all about. It was so out of place, but yet was so familiar to him. The voice felt familiar like someone he’d known for a long, long time. He also felt a particular dislike to hearing ‘pops’. But that was enough of that as he tried to clear his head. As he did, he began to look around at his surroundings. It was dark, he could see all the techno-bobbles that came with the pod’s, and two fairly large robots; one in front of him that appeared to be piloting while the other was sitting next to him. This, brought a sense of fear into his well being. How long had he been out of it? And more importantly, how were Chadin and the others doing? “Where…am I?” He muttered, still trying to get a hold of himself after the hit. [“Ah, good. Gramps is okay.”] Rose stated, though not in relief. “You-!” He exclaimed weakly. [“What about me? Look, you’re almost too where the Doc is. Me thinks you should rest after those hits you took. Stupid Robots; what part of ‘Do not harm’ do they not understand?!”] He tried to sit up straight, but only felt pain in the process. He end up, leaning against the robot next to him that blocked him from the doors. He wasn’t sure what to do now. Everything back at the beach seemed like a completely bad idea now. But he had this awful feeling in the pit of stomach that he knew something about all this; and he needed to find out. |
