“Good, keep him there.” Tatsu said in a ‘as-a-matter-of-fact’ tone. “Once this fight is over, I’ll get the hedgehog to go over there.”

He turned around facing the other direction once again. His feet moved apart a small distance as he tried his best to sink himself in the ground. He was getting himself ready for the fight to come. But even after all this time, he couldn’t help but wonder what was taking the blue hedgehog so long.

“Eh? Where is he?” he began, sounding somewhat annoyed,“I thought you said he was already here?”

Omega looked over at his blue friend, and grasped his hand, holding tightly, knowing Sonic was about to take off running.

"Ready as I'll ever be!"

"He's over there...on the other side of the lake," Robotnik said, pointing in the direction of a blue speck on water's far side. The doctor still couldn't believe he was already there, and gave a little sigh. "I don't think it'll be long before he's here though."

And with that realization, the doctor figured it would be time to get out of the way. After all, he'd be helpless in a fight without a machine to use. He didn't feel like relying on such a new ally to fight Sonic, but at this point he didn't have any time to consider other options.

"Well Tatsu, you're getting what you want. A one-on-one fight with Sonic, at least for now. As for me, I'm going to go start the operation. Hope what you've said about your abilities stands up to this test. I'm taking off now. Good luck."

And with that, the doctor rapidly ran up the hill, wanting to get far away from the fight until he had more time to prepare for the upcoming battle.

Without hesitation, Sonic went off in a short and sudden burst of speed, trekking down the bank of the lake. And indeed, as Robotnik thought, it didn’t take much time for him to get to the other side. What happened next though would be something the blue blur didn’t except.

“ Stop.”

He may have not recognized the voice, but the fact that the person even said it in a calm manner made him come to a screeching halt. His eyes went wide in bewilderment as he looked at the figure before him. He saw what looked to be a man; but his skin was a dark, blue grey color. His eyes were black in color, instead of white and iris a bright orange. His hair looked like a sickly mint and had horns coming from his head. He was just standing there, holding his left arm up; like his hand was a stop sign. Sonic didn’t quite know what to make of this guy- if it even was a guy. But he sure didn’t look like anything natural.

“Hey, whoer’ you lizard-guy-man?” sonic asked, now looking at him curiously as he scratched the side of his face. As much as he didn’t want to admit it, the guy looked kinda…creepy. But, he didn’t show it on his face, though.

“Ahh- Wait for me!!”

Rose followed in close pursuit behind Robotnik as he ran off. Like she was going to stay behind with the guy she didn’t know. But, then again she should probably stay and watch. From a safe distance of course. She didn’t want to get this SWATbot damaged after all.

Tatsuhiro didn’t give a second glance to the Doctor and Rose as they departed. He simply noticed the blue streak that was heading straight towards him.

“Finally…” He muttered, as he held his hand up. Once he felt Sonic was close enough, he spoke aloud.

“ Stop.”

The hedgehog came to a screeching halt, looking at him with a strange face. After a few seconds, he spoke up while scratching the side of his face.

“Hey, whoer’ you lizard-guy-man?”

Tatsu gave off a low ‘hmpf’, as he put his arm down. He was getting the strange sensation in the middle of his temple, which meant only one thing; the hedgehog had a Chaos Emerald. But, it was faint, even though he was just standing a short distance from him. It confused him, so he simply made a mental note. Right now, he had better things to concern himself with.

“ My name is Tatsuhiro.” He began slowly, “ And I challenge you to a fight.”

His eyes glaced towards Alpha quickly before returning to the hedgehog.

“-One-on-one.”

While Sonic managed to keep his emotion toward the blue scaley man off his face, Omega was not so concerned, or able to, and his immediate dislike of the being showed on his own face. He took a few steps back, both wanting to keep some distance, and a bit worried at how quickly a fight might start between the two of them. He kept his eyes on Tatsuhiro, and spoke a little quietly, "I don't like this guy very much... You aren't really gonna take him up on this, are ya?"

Before long the doctor reached his encampment and the prized tank he'd created specifically for this operation. Within just a few seconds he was already inside and powering up. The machine thundered to life, sending up a belching cloud of smoke as the echo of the engine briefly overwhelmed the surrounding sounds of industry.

"It's finally time to do what I came here to do. Rose, keep me updated on Sonic's fight with Tatsu. I'm going underground now."

He joined a flow of similar automated mining robots and machines heading for a hole on the far side of the compound. The other machines parted ways to allow him to get out front.

Sonic looked back at Alpha, with a somewhat dull look on his face.

“Depends…” He muttered out, before looking back at Tatsu. “What does a creep-face like you wanna fight for anyways?”

He was weary of the guy. It wasn’t just his looks but something about his aura made his hair on the back of his neck stand a bit. Not only that, but he had no idea what side he was on. Was this lizard guy working for Robotnik? He would of imagined that a lackey of his would of just ran straight into battle. He still masked his feelings, but there was a bit of uneasy-ness too. Anyone who could read people would be able to tell that he was a bit unsettled. But, for the sake of himself and his friend, he had to appear strong. Or else the guy would use that against him.

“Fe” he huffed out obviously in annoyance, “You haven’t changed at all. It’s not complicated. We fight within the circle…”

He directed Sonic’s attention to the lines that where made in the ground by pointing his finger and guiding the hedgehog (or ‘hogs) eyes.

“-Whoever exits the circle first loses. If no one exits the circle, then it will be the first one to collapse. The only rules for the fight.”

He paused for a spilt second, before adding something at the last second.

“–Oh. And to make it interesting, why don’t we wager a bet?” If I lose, then I won’t mess with you or any of your little friends…But, If I win, you can’t touch any of Dr. Robotnik’s machinery. Tools, robots, equipment, ect. Though living creatures are another story. ”

He looked incredible serious as he anticipated an answer. In some ways, he was a bit nervous. Not to mention he didn’t know what he was going to do about the other guy. He didn’t look like he would be much trouble, considering his reaction to him. Perhaps he could make it a bit more appealing for himself once the fight starts…

[OOC: Firstly, Rose isn’t going to be posting. For now, I’ll just post her Actions with Tatsu. For the most part she won’t be doing much to have to post on her account for. Secondly, Alpha you can say for yourself when your character see’s rings. Just don’t find them every single second or something. Pace yourself with them; and if you want to be challenged by not finding rings for a while that’s okay too.]
