RE: Launch Base Zone
The doctor picked up an entire 16-inch pizza, rolled it up, and held it towards his mouth.
"What other people?" he said in response to Gerald's question about other diners. And then he started stuffing it into his mouth one bite at a time as Gerald continued talking. He seemed to be swallowing it up as easily as if it were a mere small soft taco. All the same, he was listening. But he didn't appear all that concerned about what Gerald was saying. "So, do you propose doing something about it then? Like putting the emeralds back together? It's no good just to name the problem." Then the door suddenly swung open beside the pair, and no one seemed more surprised than Robo himself. He quickly scarfed down the pizza and rushed to speak to her. "Rose! Your legs! You're back in working order again, young lady!" He turned to face Gerald, to introduce her. "This is my number one fangirl, Rose. She's been a significant asset to the empire ever since she's shown up. You've probably heard her over the radio before. And please Rose, help yourself to whatever you like." |

RE: Launch Base Zone
Gerald looked upon the newcomer with a raised brow. By the sound of her voice, it was the girl over the speakers he had heard before. And the description that he gave only made him curious even more.
“Fan girl?” He questioned as he put his large hand up to his chin. He didn’t know what else to say as her current appearance seemed to change the subject matter for him. |

RE: Launch Base Zone
“ I can’t though!” she exclaimed in distress. ”I haven’t experienced G4’s in forever! Serpery will only end up making me sick…”
She sounded and even looked sad as she gripped her stomach. She couldn’t afford to get sick on the ride. She had to face those stupid anthros on the beach sooner or later. Whenever the SWATbots would end up biting the dust, anyways. After they just started shooting in random directions, Rose had gave up on them. Better for her skelies to take them down. |

RE: Launch Base Zone
The doctor nodded and smiled knowingly as Gerald repeated the words.
"Outside of myself, quite possibly the greatest contributor to this enterprise. Come on Rose, say hello. It's "gramps" you're talking to here, after all." The doctor's small chuckle petered out for a moment. Yeah, in another timeline he was Robo's gramps, but not here. "Err...that doesn't sound right, come to think of it." The doctor scratched his head in embarrassment. With his other hand he grabbed a half-pounder hamburger dripping with bacon juice, mayonnaise, and cheese and swallowed it in one gulp. Robotnik did this maneuver without a change of pace or anything. It was as if he'd simply brushed away a fly. "Anyway, G4's? What do you mean? G-forces?" |

RE: Launch Base Zone
“Yeah.” She looked over towards Robotnik with a melancholy look. “Serphy’s not so smooth with controls-”
She was interrupted by a sudden ringing. “Hand on a second…” Blinking, she took a small tablet out of her pockets and looked at it. Putting on earpiece she pressed a button to allow the call to come through. “Tatsuhiro, here.” The voice began. “Need to retreat.” “Why? You’d get a bruise on your knee?” Rose replied in a harsh, sarcastic tone. “No, bullet.” Tatsuo replied monotoned. “Bleedin’ bad. Can’t walk. Sorta useless in a fight now. Send something over to pick me up. Or you know, I could just die on the beach here. Not so bad….” “What’s the the knees?!” Rose replied shurring her hands high in the air. “First I get shot in the knee, then you’re shot in the knee- the only way this could be better is if Rampage dies.” She paused for second to stare at the wall with a neutral look on her face. “-You know as suppose of him getting shot in both knees or something.” Rose began to type out some commands on the tablet. |

RE: Launch Base Zone
Gerald blinked more. He was utterly lost.
“I’m so confused…” He mused aloud as he finally took a seat. He looked at all of the food wearily. It wasn’t something he considered appetizing. Though he couldn’t help put feel a little perish. “You wouldn’t happen to have tea, would you?” He asked as he rubbed his temples. He still looked out of it, like he hadn’t slept for days. |

RE: Launch Base Zone
Robotnik smiled a little as he heard the progress report from Tatsu.
"I think he'll be fine. We don't have to worry much about him. Just get him some help. He's earned the rest." Sure, he was hurt, but Tatsu seemed like the sort of person who could handle it, unlike Rose. "They've only just now cleared out of the beach? At this rate, we'll have cleaned up all the shards on the island and taken over the world by the time they get here." As Gerald asked for tea, Robo promptly snapped his fingers. Seconds later, a slim robot with a paint-job that made it look like it was wearing a tux quickly glided over, with a perfect glass of iced tea and lemon on a tray. "Will that do?" Again, Robo seemed very interested in making sure Gerald was as comfortable as possible. |

RE: Launch Base Zone
“Erm, yes.” Gerald replied meekly as he grabbed the glass hesitantly. “ I prefer hot, but this should be fine.”
He was beginning to be uncomfortable around this man; and the girl who just came in. He took a sip of tea ( with his pinky sticking out as a habit of his) to try and calm his nerves. He didn’t need to start panicking with all his sudden mood-swings and strange headaches. He had to be calm, leaved. Setting the glass down on the table, he looked over towards Robotnik. “So, tell me. This…empire you want to create. What’s the people’s part in all this? It doesn’t seem like they’re exactly happy with you’re, um, gift.” |

RE: Launch Base Zone
“Working for the Empire, of course!” Rose would bouts out before the Doctor. “What they should be honored to do. Like those whinny people over in our factories.”
She would quickly turn and look at where she heard Gerald coughing; most likely from swallowing his tea wrong. Getting his composure back he would look towards Rose while holding his glass in his hand. “W-what factories?” he asked surprised. Rose rolled her eyes, like she had been talking with a idiot. “The worker factories; what other kind are you thinking of? Stupid people complain about the living conditions they’re given and how much they get paid-” Rose would squint at hearing the sound of shattering glass. Looking back over at Gerald she could see a horrified expression wrecked on his face; even with his glasses it was easy to tell they were opened very wide. His mouth sort of hung halfway open in a deep frown while his brows creased in a concerning way. Rose looked at him questionable. Was it something she said? She didn’t quite know what was going on. “What? What’d I do?!?!” she exclaimed defensively. |

RE: Launch Base Zone
Robotnik also spun around at the impact of the glass shattering all over the floor. Funny...the doctor thought this was going to be a pleasant experience, with meeting his mentor and all. Instead, it went from being awkward at best to downright painful. He could still feel a little twinge from where he'd been socked in the jaw earlier.
"Is there...something wrong?" The doctor approached tenderly. He wondered what he'd gotten himself into by bringing this man into his inner circle. |
