Rasha Tailor
Name: Rasha Tailor
Alias: Rage, Rune Taini Age: Twenty-five Gender: Female Species: Fire Fox [Myth], Arctic Fox [Furry] Past occupations: Thief, Fencer Current occupation: Bar tender Social class: Lower Friends: Qwin and the regulars Marital status: Single Height: 4' 1" Hobbies: Fencing, singing, casual drinking, sculpture, staying up late and hanging out on the roof, howling. listening to music Habits: Dragging her claws on the counter when irritated, lunging out in white-hot anger, growling, using her tail to help herself, not caring for people she doesn't know (if that could be considered one) ![]() Appearance: Rasha has a generally lanky build which could fool anyone into thinking she's just another weakling. Despite this, she's got a fine trimmed tone under her jet black fur. Due to her myth genes, unlike her arctic brethren, Rasha's coat remains unchanged year round. The only hint of her arctic heritage is from the cyan twisted with white that covers her muzzle, inner ears, chest, and the tip of her tail. Her eyes reflect more of her father's being a green but hinting blue here and there. She's taller than a furry due to her myth side, but otherwise, it has no effect on her in general. Attire: Top: She usually wears a flashy looking crimson jacket that could fool someone into thinking it was made of satin over a faded white spaghetti strap tank. Bottom: She prefers to wear fairly snug fit jeans on a usual day. A lot of her jeans are ripped and patched over with band ensigmas, their colors ranging from lights to darks. Her favorite pair, however, is a mix of brown yet blue. They're designed to look dirty, but they rarely are these days. Accessories: Typically, Rasha dawns a chain hung from around her neck, another one clipped to her slacks, the other end snapped to her wallet. Two spike bracers are worn on her wrists. It's also not unusual to see three pairs of earrings being worn at once: two pairs are small silver looped earrings, but the third is vastly different. One is silver, shaped like a horseshoe while the other is a thick ring with a large sphere on the inside, intent on keeping it held snug together. Footwear: She wears her only pair of sneakers: old Doc Martens that are between a dark red and brown with black laces. Family: [Father] - Sylier Riona [Fire fox] [Mother] - Jenise Tailor [Arctic fox] [Siblings] - n/a [Tutor] - Oriel [Boss] - Quentin "Qwin" Talengso Home Residence: Triblanca - A small city in the middle of no where east of Never Lake. Current Residence: West Radical City Personality: Rasha may be twenty-five, but she's more prone to acting like a teenager. With a background like hers, it's always been hard on her to grow up. And, really, she doesn't have any desire to. That said, she's rather rowdy and would run into trouble, hell bent on seeking to satisfy her kindled anger. Fortunately, she's learned how to control this temper of hers a bit more profitably than before where she would pick a fight with anyone and everyone, even if she knew the odds were completely stacked against her. Despite this, her first impression on people may leave them thinking that she's a rebel without a cause. And they wouldn't be too off believing that. Trial after trial, Rage has fought to gain her own mark in the world. She's in constant pursuit of something, her dream varying and changing with time. As vibrant and forward as her heart is to following what she wants, her insecurity gets in the way in the end. If she feels that all the doors have closed to opportunity, she'll push herself to move onto something else. It's not to say that she doesn't think about what could have been. She broods over things she's given up on for years until she finally lays it to rest. She hates giving up on things, but at the same time, Rasha knows that there's a point where sometimes things have to end, whether one likes it or not. Speaking of insecurity, Rage may not show it openly unless she is distrusting of someone, but inside she is very insecure. A lot of it comes from the pursuit of her dreams. Time and time again, despite her diligent work to achieve them, Rasha has found a lot of them have slipped away. Many receded from her grasp due to others. Thus would also explain her general distrust of anyone. Despite this, Rasha is a fairly smart fur. She by no means has a high IQ like Robotnik, but she's fairly capable of the maths and sciences from up to high school level. It's not a common fact others know about her though, since her interest for such subjects is lacking. She'd rather be serving drinks and getting indulged in interesting traveler's tales than sitting in a lab and staring at a microorganism through a microscope. Behind all this, if someone were to gain Rasha's trust and friendship, they would find her loyal and protective. She can also be quite helpful. Unfortunately though, if she were to choose between pursuing her dreams and staying behind with said friend, she would be more likely to go with the former. It's just how she has always been. If there's one important life lesson she's learned it's that no one is immortal so she has to do all she can in life before the end. Even if it means moving on and away from said friend. Background: Born into a family of conflict, Rasha's father left not long after she was brought into the world. Her mother, Jenise, was found often speaking negatively about him. Regardless, the child did wonder who he had been and even where he was in the world now that he had off and left them. Jenise discouraged her wondering though, telling her that they were better off without him. This constant denial lit a slowly burning fuse in Rasha's being that would ignite into an explosion later on. For now, she spent a majority of time in day care while her mother worked, sticking to her solitude while the other children played. Jenise took no notice though and, at the age of four, she sent her only child off to preschool to try and ease her mind. Unfortunately, Rasha often found herself picking fights with the other kids. Some of them tended to tease her about how she looked and gave outrageous reasons as to why her father left. This earned her the nickname 'Rage' along with her vibrant fiery hair. She was suspended twice from the school and eventually Jenise stopped taking her, deciding that home schooling would be more up Rasha's alley. It would initially cost her more money, but if a second job was what it would cost to have her child well educated and able to succeed in the world, she was willing to go for it. A year later, Rasha was introduced to her homeschooling tutor: a turquoise vulpine by the name of Oriel. Truthfully, he was young for a teacher, being only in his mid-twenties. Regardless, he did dress in his essential business: white dress blouse, black slacks, and all. A thin pair of frameless glasses sat on his nose, but Rasha could have sworn they were just for show. She saw him peeking over them on several occasions and even asked him about it; Jenise, of course, scolded her before apologizing to her tutor. Oriel didn't seem to take any offense though, which was a grace to her mother's eyes. She hadn't wanted an easily aggravated teacher, especially with Rage's attitude. For the next few years, Rasha spent most of the time during weekdays with Oriel. He was careful to teach her within her pace and tried his best to keep her interested, but even with his most dire efforts, he just couldn't seem to get any sort of interested response out of her. He dealt with it though, wondering in the back of his head what had caused this strange mindset. Still, Rasha did learn. Better than a fair amount of his other students, in fact. Oriel never told her that, thinking that she would get over-confident. He didn't like picking favorites anyway. When she wasn't being taught by him, she was often times back at the daycare center. Her mother, with two jobs, hardly had the time for her anymore. In fact, Jenise was hardly managing herself from all the stress. Thus, both were suffering constantly. Rasha began to feel alone. A sense of ill accomplishment began to rape her mind. With her mother rarely being there, Rage didn't really have enough of a push to get her going and out to face the world. Especially since whenever Jenise was there, she was grouchy and just wanted to go off to bed. The combination of her mother's hectic schedule and the disappearance of her father began to channel a deep hatred towards the working world. And even her mother a bit. She became fairly irritable and got into fights even more often. The children at the day care center were too scared of the possibility of her lashing out at them to go near her. Unfortunately, Oriel took this as Rasha being sad and uninterested in life itself. Thus, he took it upon himself to renew some energy and showed her his own small delight in life: collecting swords. He figured by seeing how he was endorsed in such a hobby, maybe she would think of one herself to enjoy. It didn't go quite as planned when Oriel found out she was a bit too interested in his swords. In fact, she wanted to start her own collection of them. Oriel declined to her idea, telling her that maybe she should try taking up something like fencing instead. She was old enough for it now, having just turned eleven. That way she would be able to handle swords without causing too much of a fuss from Jenise. Rasha promptly agreed and, with some convincing on Oriel's part to help the child develop in a healthier manner, Jenise allowed it. Rasha took to fencing very well. In fact, with it, her progress in her studies skyrocketed in comparison to beforehand. To Oriel and Jenise, it seemed like she had finally come to terms with whatever was bothering her. In truth, she hadn't. In fact, she was still brooding over the fact that they hadn't allowed her a sword collection, believing like most children that she was old enough and it was unfair. Combine it with the facts that her mom was still working long hours and it was like Rasha was just biding her time, waiting for the right moment to strike out. In the meantime, she forced her originally irritable attitude into determination to master this new art she'd found, channeling the previous angry energy into a more fruitful purpose. Her instructor found she was a bit on the lanky side though and put her on a free weight training program to help pick up her strength and endurance. She was also allowed to use the extra equipment for free, which made her mother especially happy. Jenise couldn't help but joke that she'd have to get a fourth job had it been otherwise. Years went by. Rasha went from the basic foil fencing to the p e and had begun work with the sabre. For some reason, however, she liked the weight of the p e and switched back to it not long after she had tried the sabre. Due to weight training, she was able to handle it easier than the others and the heavier weight to the weapon (in comparison to the other swords, which were lighter) combined with the way she thrust it at her opponent during her sessions helped her instead of hindering her unlike the others in her class. All during this, she'd kept up with her studies and thought over all the possibilities of getting back against what she now truly knew she hated: the government. More or less, she hated the money and job system. Every evening, her mother would come home with a deadpan expression on her face and do her typical 'ritual' of eating a TV dinner, washing up, and going off to bed. At fourteen, she'd had enough of it having to live home alone half the time as her mother worked for minimum wage at two restaurants. Thus, she began stealing. She was unsure and often very frightened at first. Regardless of this scare, she began shoplifting during the times she would go out to buy groceries for home. Little by little, Jenise noticed she often had just a bit more of extra money to spend. She didn't think much of it though, figuring that maybe her service had gotten better without her even thinking about it and thus she was getting bigger tips. Despite the extra money, it wasn't enough for Rasha. What first was meant to help her achieve her goals of a fabricated revenge ended up becoming a sort of 'high' for her. The adrenaline rush she got from stealing seized her and ultimately she began to enjoy the so-called hobby of hers with much delight over the next year. However, the shoplifting was getting too easy. She wanted bigger and better things. At her fifteenth birthday, Oriel, with Jenise's permission, gave Rasha one of the beauties of his sword collection, a large blue-tinted diamond sword, in order to help start her own collection in time. The young fox took the gift gratefully. Unfortunately for the two adults, little did they know what she was planning to do with it. Due to her continued fencing lessons and her general athletic level, she could at least hold the sword for a while. That said, she still couldn't handle it well enough for what she planned to do with it, but she would learn over the next several years, using her fencing knowledge as a base. As the years progressed, she went from shoplifting to downright breaking and entering shops after nightfall. She'd sneak out of the townhouse as her mother slept, clothed in full black. Using the sword, she'd typically break a window with it before slipping in and taking what she wanted. She learned to be fast, especially when alarms were set off. To her luck, it was also around this time that she discovered her talent in the field of electric magic. It was out of control at first, but Rasha was persistent in harnessing it for her gains as a thief. Unfortunately, as this obsession persisted, even with her new-found power, she ended up stepping up too far. On the eve of the holidays when she was seventeen, she tried for the biggest heist yet. Her mother had always adored the sight of jewelry as much as Jenise denied it. So, that night, Rasha had made plans to grab a necklace her mother had particularly fancied in a window display. Unfortunately, Rasha never took into account the idea of silent alarms. The next thing she knew, the news and the cops were all over her. Jenise was horrified by what her child had been doing and ashamed that she'd been stealing herself, in an essence. Rasha herself was only ashamed by the look on her mother's face. She had never meant to be a disappointment to her. But yet now she was. To both parents it seemed. The fox didn't look back as she fled from the cops. By the time she was out of reach, she was out of the city and into the big, wide world. For the next few years, Rasha went through several challenges. Despite the event back at her hometown, Rasha had never held a job before. It was also safe to say she didn't have the guts to write down on an application that she had a record on her of being a thief. Thus, she stuck with her original profession, although the adrenaline that originally fueled her into doing it now fell more into the frightened category of earlier. She never tried to steal anything at a large scale again. Just essentials like food and water, some clothes, and a few blankets. A lot of this could be easily be taken by just shoplifting. A few months later, however, Rasha found she could live off something else: her fencing abilities. While walking the streets of Capital City, she noticed a poster taped to a telephone pole and decided to go for it. At first, her fencing proved to be rusty. She hadn't fenced with an p e in a while, having started to rely on her crystal blade more. The difference in weight left her feeling a bit awkward and she didn't earn enough to live off of it. Still, she enjoyed the freedom of being able to do what she wanted without the expense of dealing with the stresses of taxes, house payments, and everything else that went with growing up. Rasha really didn't have to. Rasha spent the rest of the year traveling around the world to participate in many a tournament even if it meant by illegal means such as hitchhiking. Her fencing improved by each tournament. She began to get back in the rhythm quickly enough and even advance as she learned from her experiences: how she won, why she lost etc. Eventually, this talent of hers led her to take on the false identity of 'Rune Taini'. She was actually helped by a die hard fan who wanted to see her participate in the larger, more worldwide tournaments. She'd improved plenty in the last year. In fact, her fanbase had been hounding her about it for a while. After turning down several supporters and plenty of sponsers, Rasha finally decided to have a try: without a sponsor though and with a identity change in order to keep her theft records untouched. This meant a change in her attire too as she gave away her old regular duds and instead, with the better income she had earned lately, she fashioned a more 'punkish' flare. It was around eighteen that she also met Robert Warrin while on the road. The two ended up falling in love and Rasha's participation in fencing tournaments decreased. However, love was never a strong point to Rasha and commitment? Forget it. It was safe to say that despite how much love the two had for one another, in the end, the relationship was doomed from the start. Rasha wanted to keep going on the road while Rob wished to settle down a live a normal life. Only a year after the two had met, Rasha broke away from him. Still, the relationship had an effect on her. It left her with an empty feeling. She began wondering about her life and where it had gone for the past few years. Rasha began to feel she'd been living a lie for too long. By the end of her eighteenth year, she decided it was time to make herself more useful. Unfortunately, since she'd never graduated high school and her current appearance and profession, it wasn't to be so. Thus, after stepping down from fencing tournaments, Rasha found herself wondering desperately in search of a job. Any job. She just couldn't do what she had been up to for the last several years anymore. In the end, she found herself working at a tavern that ironically served travelers like her former self. The owner surprisingly didn't question her background, only having a good look at her before taking her aboard. Rasha thought little of it, thankful that he hadn't asked. Unfortunately, she found out why a bit too late. While she first began in the back washing dishes and glasses with her boss constantly snapping at her, Rasha did her best to just ignore it. It did become tiresome though and she often lay awake in an abandoned warehouse down the street in Radical, wondering just how much more she'd be able to take. After a year of hard labor in the background, Rasha was given a small pay raise as well as a jump in the ranks up to being a waitress. Her boss tried to badger her into wearing the worker's 'uniform', a skimpy outfit to say the least, but despite his efforts, Rasha declined. Still, the fox would find her job to be a hectic and insulting one. For the next year, she was harassed in all sorts of ways from the regulars that came into the tavern in the late hours. She found herself disgusted and humiliated. But it was the one day that finally settled it, a day that haunts her memories, when one night she was taken into one of the back rooms. She managed to fight her way out with some aid of her magic knowledge before any real harm came to her, but alas. Despite escaping from the group of drunks, she never returned to the tavern. She decided that at the next place, whoever owned it would bend to her rules. She kept her sword at her side as emphasis. While she was trained as a fencer, her diamond blade she found more useful due to the intimidation of its size and the concept that she was actually able to wield it rather well by now. The next bar keep seemed more promising. Still, Rasha was cautious after what had happened on the other side of the city. Figuring she had a bad run-in with her last job at the opposing business, the iguana allowed the fox some room. Eventually, through a couple months, Rasha began to trust the keeper, Quentin, or Qwin as she started calling him. Quentin Talengso. The lizard was a more responsible and respectable bar keep than the former boss of her, making sure to keep the peace in his tavern and kick out those who didn't heed to his ruling. Typically though, the bar was a lot more friendly since he made sure no one would drink themselves drunk. And if they did, he had a few tricks up his sleeve, being a former boxer. For the next few years, the two became good friends. Qwin began training her in how to properly mix drinks correctly yet fast enough to satisfy demanding customers. Although Rasha was clumsy with it at first, she became progressively better. When she wasn't working, the fox was at her new apartment which she paid for with the money she'd been saving up. To this day, she remains at the bar, serving up drinks and helping Qwin around as best as she can. After all the hectic trials she's endured, Rasha's finally found a little slice of the life to savor, enjoying the traveler's tales and singing along to the old juke box in the corner. But when things get rough, Rasha knows how to defend herself and will do so now, often in an enraged fit, without a second thought of the consequences this time around. - Rune (german, secret) - Taini (native american, returning moon) Weapon: Large Diamond Crystal Sword A furry-sized sword, it was custom made by a master craftsman in Station Square who sold it to Oriel years ago. Since then, it hung on his wall until Rasha's fifteenth birthday which, given her obvious envy for his ownership of it, Oriel gave it to her as a means of starting her own collection. Unfortunately for the vulpine, he was unaware of her new intentions as she sought to learn how to use it for thievery. The sword itself is a hybrid of a long sword and a broad. It's longer than a broad yet thicker than a long. Despite its size, it's lighter than corundum even though it scores a ten on the hardness scale. The crystals are very coarse and have a transparent blue tint to them. Combat [Advanced] Considering the size of the sword she uses, her fighting style is very awkward to look at. Due to her roots as a fencer, a lot of influence comes from there although it's been altered to fit her two-hand style. Due to her main fighting style being the p e, her focus is not just on the attack but heavily watching out to make sure she doesn't make herself too open. She can't, by any means, hold her sword very long with just one hand if at all. Fortunately for her, due to the fights at the daycare center and general skirmishes during her thieving years, if she loses her sword, she can hold her own to an extent. She's a lot better with it though. Moves: Fake [Intermediate - Medium hit] Rasha will make a beeline towards her opponent with sword held high over her head. Halfway there, she'll jump and seem like she'll be coming at them from the air. However, at the last moment, she'll land right in front of them, thrusting her sword swiftly out towards them much like a fencer as she curls her body back to avoid retaliation. Defects - The attack loses its bite if the opponent is readily predicting it. Also, despite her immediate focus on her defense while attacking, she can still get her sword knocked away and even out of her hands since she's more focused on not getting hit than keeping a hold on her blade. Sand Storm [Intermediate - Distraction, Medium hit] With a quick slip of her blade, Rasha uses the dry ground to her advantage. She kicks up the dirt with a swift slice across the ground. While the dust covers her for a moment, she makes for a nasty thrust through it towards her opponent. She may substitute dust for something such as bagged flour etc. Defects - While her opponent can't see her, neither can she see them. Thus, it may end up backfiring on her. The ground must obviously also be dry or else the dust won't kick up and see the move worthless. In short, this move is dependent on dust or other substitutes. Heavy Strike [Advanced - Light-Medium, Knockback] Rasha holds her sword out to her side and then swings it horizontally with the blunt end facing her opponent. This is more or less used to know them to the ground, providing her with a temporary upperhand in battle. If she gets lucky, it'll knock the wind out of them as well. A variation of this move meant for the same purpose is more of a fake where she will make a small dash towards them while thrusting her sword into the ground at an angle, using it as a pole vault to throw herself up into a jump kick to knock them away. Defects - This move is dependent on either distracted or slow moving targets. As such, it is often combined with her 'Sand Storm' or 'Bursting Enlightenment' spell. It's also lacks in causing damage to her opponent as much as her other moves would. In the other case, she will have to climb back to her feet and retrieve her sword. Otherwise, she will leave herself more open to attacks. Successive Revolt [Advanced - Light-Medium-Heavy, Multi-Hit] The most difficult of her moves to use but the most effective if she catches her opponent with it. She does a series of slashes at her opponent up to six times rapidly with her sword. They are trained to hit spots meant to disable her opponent but not usually do they hit vital areas unless they've really pissed her off. Defects - Because of the sword's size, it's a slower attack than what she could do with, say, daggers, or even a spear. The slashes themselves are a bit awkward to control and thus she focuses more on that than her handling, making it easier for the opponent to knock the sword out of her hand. Magic - Electricity [Intermediate] Rasha's main focus on magic has been to either increase the efficiency of her attack or aiding in her escapes. She's not very accomplished with the element in general, but she does have enough knowledge to help her get through a sticky situation. Upon Spells Thunder Thrust [Medium-Strong Hit, Weapon Enchantment, Two Turn] Rasha holds her sword up in front of her for defensive purposes while taking a turn to charge it with electrical energy. By the second turn, sword fully charged, she makes a quick sprint at her opponent, thrusting her sword at them much like a fencer but using both hands. This is, by far, one of her nastiest attacks due to the extra bite from the electricity. It's especially effective against robots and water-based defense. Defects - This attack can be stopped if the opponent manages to make her lose her concentration. However, during the attack, something like earth magic or a more powerful spell (save water) can dissipate the electric charge on the sword. This is also an exhausting move in general and can only be used thrice per battle before she's exhausted. Shockwave [Light-Medium Hit, Single Projectile, Quick Play] Charging up some electricity into her hand quickly, she can soon after fire off a single bolt towards her target. Typically, this move is familiarly used to short out or blow out electronics by overloading the watt capacity with one swift electrical surge. While she wouldn't be able to overload something as large as a generator, the spell was trained to take out devices such as cameras although if she gave it an extra boost (making it a two-turn spell then), she would be able to do damage to larger things such as a two circuits in one go. She can use this as an offensive move, but she's typically more dependent on her melee than this. Defects - It's not a very powerful spell in itself and is initially only used to take care of electronics. She also wouldn't be able to short out larger electronics such as robots and generators. The initial charge, if used against something with depleting electricity, can actually help a system more than hinder it. Bursting Enlightenment [Distraction, Two Turn] During the first turn, Rasha charges some electricity into her hand much like her 'Shockwave' attack. However, she holds it until her second turn. Then, a burst of light that springs from her outstretched palms. Rasha uses this typically for two reasons. The most often used tactic behind it is just a means of escape, which she used a lot when she found herself in tight situations. Its second use is as an advantage to her ongoing attack plan. Defects - The effects of the flash only last one or two turns. If it's used too often, it can become predictable and her target can simply avoid it by covering their eyes. Lastly, it takes two turns and if she can only use it four times per battle. Then, she must rest. Power Surge [Light, Minor Status Effect, Quick Play] Rasha charges her bare fists with field of electricity quickly before throwing a nasty punch towards her opponent's way. The impact is meant more to throw off the balance of their body and weaken their defense for a few turns more than actually do any physical damage. Defect - Despite it being a quick attack, it is by no means undodgable. Swifter opponents will have the upperhand of being able to dodge it easier than others, but it can also grow to be a generally predictable attack if used too often. The move can only be used three times per battle and then she'll be magically exhausted. Skills: Thievery [Intermediate] Due to the several of years of theft, she has a handle on stealing. If she had to, she could shoplift without much of a problem. Bigger things she would have more trouble with, especially since she hasn't stolen anything in years and the general concept of it she's begun to dislike. But she will if she has to. First Aid [Beginner] During the time on her own and generally being home alone a lot, Rasha knows how to care for herself to a point, so long as it's from a first aid kit. She does have some basic herbal remedy knowledge as well. Diplomacy [Beginner] Rasha has a sharp tongue for getting herself out of some situations. Unfortunately, her appearance and heated temper has kept her from getting any better at this sly talk and she tends to get herself into more trouble if she gets impatient. Strengths: + Rasha has above average strength for a fur. Some of it is due to her heritage, but a lot more is from weight training. + She has fairly good problem solving skills. This is due to her smarts that she inherited from her mother, believe it or not. + Her stamina is fairly impressive. Of course, with the type of weapon she uses, it's more or less a necessity. + Rasha tends to pay attention to her past experiences and learns from them. Unlike some furries, she hates history repeating itself. Weaknesses: - Although she is a fox, her speed is generally not that great. She relies a lot more on brute strength and wit to get her out of a tight spot. - Rasha may be intelligent, but she has no common sense sometimes. Things that could be considered the smaller things in life often go right over her head, such as dealing with emotions for example. - While she may have some fair agility, while her sword is trained, Rasha is slowed down heavily. Sometimes her weapon in more of a hinder than help. - Unfortunately, Rasha tends to focus on the past a bit too much. There's just some things that she just can't seem to let go and it saps all her energy from her. NPCs: Name: Quentin Talengso Alias: Qwin Species: Iguana Age: Thirty-Seven Relation: Boss Height: 3' 5" Former Occupation(s): Boxer Current Occupation: Bar Tender Social Class: Middle Friends: Rasha and the regulars Marital status: Single Appearance: Qwin has the appearance of an average joe, iguana-wise. Just the typical dark green scales with a brown tint with chocolate brown eyes. His left one has a scar to the outside of it, the only evidence that left him to being blind in that eyes. Attire: Top: The most Quin wears is a dirty brown vest with several pockets to it. Bottom: Typically, a pair of khaki trousers is often seen worn around the bar. Footwear: He doesn't usually wear shoes, but if he has to, it's for hard labor and they're just plain old work boots. Accessories: None. Personality: Qwin has an attitude to him that can be as rough as his scales. He has the sternness of a fist to the face should he need to act it, but behind this, he does have a good heart. He likes giving people a hand if they're down, but unlike other bar tenders, he avoids the trash circulating around Radical and will kick them out personally if he has to. Background: Quentin was raised with a father who owned a bar in the downtown area of Radical. Because of that, he was knowledgeable of plenty of things in regards to the job. In fact, his old man wanted him to take up the family job after him. But the young lizard was stubborn and full of energy. Qwin ended up taking up boxing when he was a teenager. Years went by and he ended up becoming a fairly famous boxer before a nasty fight caused him to quit the ring and move on. He lost sight in his left eye because of it. He used the money he earned from his final match to open his own bar which was originally intended to be a private one for his fellow boxers. In the end, it ended up as a public one, but he made sure to keep things in line and in his control, much like in the ring. Quentin has a good idea of how difficult it is to move on in life and thus readily accepted Rasha when she came in asking for a job and sporting an edgy background. Weapon: Claws Combat [Advanced] Qwin isn't as good as he used to be since he's been retired from the ring for years. However, he knows enough tricks to keep his bar in control and uses them freely when there's a fuss in his keep. Clothesline Slug A nasty combination of an uppercut and clothesline. Simply put, Quin will swing an arm out as they come running at him like his bad customers typically do, allowing them to clothesline themselves. He continues the swing, spinning on his feet as he bends his knees a bit and curls his fist, coming around just before they fall with a nasty uppercut. Defects - This move is dependent on the opponent's rashness. He must first get them into the vulnerable state of attack before he can pull it off. Ring Out A multi-hit move combining an altering set of punches followed by one swift slug with his right. Defects - The move is strictly close-range. He also can not bring any harm to those such as robots and he typically wears out after a while due to his older age. |
