RE: On the road to knothole
Vanessa... when are you not hungry?" I laughed in resignation.
I turned back to Gerald, trying hard to get that goofy grin off my face and get serious again. "Sooo... you're handy with machines? That's... actually pretty handy actually. Tell you what, how about we discuss it on our way to Knothole. That's where we were heading when we ran into you." I took a deep breath and sighed. That little voice was shouting loud and hard at this point. "There's just one thing... Knothole village is the base of operations for the ENTIRE Freedom Fighter network. It's location has been a closely guarded secret ever since Robotnik first took over. If it's location ever falls into the wrong hands, the Freedom Fighters... probably the one organization on the planet that is able or willing to stop Robotnik could be wiped out; and the rest of the planet would fall not long after. If I take you both there, you have to SWEAR that you will never tell anyone its location!" |

RE: On the road to knothole
"That's not much of a problem considering I don't know anyone to tell it to!" Gerald let out a small chuckle as he placed his glasses back on. "Of course I swear not to tell. But...I do I have one question about this..place, Chadin. Is everyone there going to react the same way you did to me? And not just the fact that I'm human, but also my name."

RE: On the road to knothole
The blue cat let out another whine. "But I'm really hungry, lil' bro!"
"Sure I won't tell where this hut is, I just want some food." She stopped leaning on the dear, opening her small back pack she carried around. Rustling in it for a few minutes. "Where the hell is it? Come here stupid Choco-bar, I am gonna eat you." The blue cat had pretty much sent Gerald to the back of her mind. He wasn't a cool animal, he had glasses, he wasn't about to get stabbed and his words contained too many syllables. Nothing that interested her in the least. |

RE: On the road to knothole
"Don't worry about the residents of Knothole. I'll vouch for you. Allies are so few as it is, it would be unwise to turn away any help. C'mon... we can discuss this more once we reach Knothole."
"Besides... I don't like that hungry look in Vanessa's eyes. If we don't get her something to eat soon I'm worried she might decide she feels like having a little venison for dinner. " I added as a cast a wary glance at Vanessa. [Okay, I think it's about high time we shift topics into Knothole now...] |

((Uh, I wouldn't be the best to describe Knothole, so I'll let one of you kind people make the topic.))

RE: On the road to knothole
Gerald, even though his glasses were on, gave Chadin a strange look.
"That's....a partiuclarly horriying thought..." He said as he began to rise to his feet. (OOC:Yeah, let's move! >3< TO KNOTHOLE ) |
