.::CHARACTER THEMES::.
This is pretty simple. It’s listing your character theme songs, of course. Though, instead of simple posting it; you explain the reason why it’s your characters theme. And please, just use one account to say all your character’s instead of each individual account. Also, you are allowed to talk about NPC’s. You can also post a link to the song if you want; and lyrics as well.

There are four things to put into this. Firstly, your character’s Main Theme. Secondly, and Alternitve theme. Thirdly, Opening theme and fourthly, Ending theme. THe opening and ending theme’s are just for fun. They don’t have to do anything with your characters; it’s just sorta, ‘if your character had it’s own show...’ thing. I’ll start.

I’m afraid with me; you’ll see a lot of anime songs. This particular song comes from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, an anime adaptation of the manga; and one that hasn’t been dubbed. This song was picked for two reasons. Firstly, how the song sounds. It’s got a jazz feel to it with a strange mixture of rock. And it’s pretty up-beat and catchy; with a bit of a ghostly ascept as well. I can just see Rose causing major chaos with this going in the background. And combined with the lyrics it makes it even better. Not much to say since the lyrics explain a lot of it. And the singing also seems to give off what I generally think Rose’s personality comes far off (as far as the womanly aspects of it) Though I will admit, there’s a lot of things I take out of the original context.

For example, the line that says ‘Shadows make women more beautiful’. In Rose’s case, ‘Shadow’ means ‘darkness’ or ‘evil’. Same thing with ‘beautiful’. Most associate with looks, but it also means something ‘very good’ or ‘enjoyable’. So in that case, the line for Rose really means ‘Evil makes women enjoyable.’ But it doesn’t mean that every beautiful in the lyrics mean’s that.

Though not all of the lyrics fit, unfortunately. Usually dealing with the title of the song. But, it’s not so bad that it makes me want to change it.

This didn’t quite make her theme considering the lack of a lot of lyrics; and that not all the lyrics fit how she is. But it does sort of convey her feelings. And the tune of it is epic. So it makes a good Alternative for me at least. It’s something that would play during events or something.

Not much to say. It’s just really upbeat and happy. It also does fit her in some way’s, but I see it more as an opening for her. With all the other characters from the Empire it in. That’s about it. Also, another Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei song. Second opening.

::ENDING THEME::

Zetsubou Restaurant by Tanii Asuka, Sanada Asami, Gotou Yuuko, Matsuki Miyu

This could have been an alternative, but it has far too many lyrics that don’t fit, so it didn’t make it. The reason for the ending theme though is because the ways it fits her is her sadistic nature. So for her to make a restaurant of despair would be something she probably would do. Also, it just sounds good. The song is technically from the same series, but not. It’s the first ending from Zan Sayonra Zetsubou Sensei.

Alta Aldridge

::MAIN THEME::

Blues Drives Monster by The Pillows

The choice for this song may seem strange, but that’s more or less because I picked it because it conveyed what he thinks, and more or less shows what he really thinks about people. And how that really is, well, is up to you to figure out. Not to mention the way the sound of the song is feels good for Alta. Not really upbeat, but not slow either. Not to mention the guy singing’s voice is sort of the pitch and tone that Alta sounds. Song comes from FLCL.

This was originally going to be his theme until I came to Blues Drive Monster. It had a meloncoly sound, and the lyrics did sorta match. But the problem was that all it really did was maybe tell the story of Alta’s time being around Rose, so it didn’t make it. But It does get kudos for seemingly describing they’re experience well. Ending from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

::OPENING THEME::

Koiji Romanesque(Male version) Orginal song by Zetsubou Shoujo-tachi; Male version edited by TopSecertPedent

Yes, the original song is sung by females. Obviously. The reason for using this ‘male version’ is because A: He’s a guy. B: It sounds far darker than the original. In some cases, it’s a theme of his. But it’s more of the relastionship with Rose than anything. Also hints that he has a dark side. Why it was chosen as the opening? Because I wanted something darker to start with. Oh yeah, another Zetsubou Sensei song. Second Ending from Zoku.

Not much to say than, deals with Alta’s crush with Rose, and it has a happy-upbeat tempo. Nuff said. Came from Final Fantasy Unlimited, ending theme.

( Decoe and Bocoe will come soon. I just need sleep first. =A=; )
