Priscilla's yee olde shoppe

[Giichi Twinkieland]

"Yeah..."

If Gail paid attention, he would notice that the cat appeared to look at the white wolf with some disdain. Giichi had his arms crossed and eyes narrowed as he looked at her. A second later, his eyes moved back to Gail. The cat had many, many questions he was eager about getting answered, but sadly now wasn't the time.

"I can watch her, if you want."

"Really?" Gail said, smiling. "That'd be great. I don't want to just set her down and leave her alone."

Giichi forced a smile. In reality, he'd be just peachy with Gail dropping her in the dirt, but thought it would be best to keep up appearances in front of his new partner. Victim or not, the way she'd acted up until the demon showed up still lingered in his mind. In any case, the two of them walked her to a nearby bench and sat her down.

[Tech Rathgen]

I watch the grotesque scene unfolding in front of my eyes. This monster looks hurt and we definitely put him in his place. If there was one thing I knew, I knew that this beast would prepare himself for a heap load of bloodshed regardless of what things would enter his mind.

With the beast knowing that we didn't fall for the bluff, I wonder what he'll do next. One thing is for sure though, me and Magnus are the only two in this room that can actually fight at the moment. Worse than that, we're in the same place. I don't know how far this beast will go before he gives up or I don't even know just how strong he really is. But if this beast can toss his own boss and Gail flying across a whole room, I'd hate to see what he can do to us.

I hold my laser steady and wait.

[Jijeka-Te]

Ji and Anu grew tense as they saw Gail exit the store with an unfamiliar white wolf in his arms.

(Anu) "Your Majesty, I'm beginning to suspect that our assistance would not be unhelpful."
(Ji) "I suspect the same. Let's go."

The two of them glided/flew down to the store's entrance and glanced in, not entirely sure what they expected to see in there.

[Magnus]

Seeing the giant wounded as he is Magnus knew this fight would come to an end soon one way or the other. Magnus decided to make his move now before the Relic had a chance to react and shouted to Tech.

"Keep back and cover me, I'm going to rush him and you try to fire on him from his blind spot!"

Noticing Ji and Anu at the entrance, Magnus shouted to them as well.

"If you're looking for some fun, find an opening and hit him however you can."

Before even finishing his sentence, Magnus lunged forward at the Relic and braced himself to defend against the inevitable counter, intending only to slow him down while his comrades rallied and retaliated.

[Relic Drake]

Relic had switched modes before Magnus lunged at him. Maybe before such an amateur mistake would have gotten a solid hit. Relic would have maybe even let him knock him down. As of right now Relic was following Priscilla's new orders, play time was over. While rising from his knee, Relic swung his left gauntlet in a wide arc at the mid-air Magnus. He was trying to hit him, no he wanted something far more practical. Drake matched the speed of his gauntlet with the red echidna, allowing to briefly land on it. He then accelerated his arm farther back, with far too much force for Magnus to likely hang on. Sending the echidna sailing past himself.
Back on his two feet, he began lumbering towards Tech. Not because he intended to harm her. She just happened to be standing on the door to the safe in the ground. Idly picking a large micro wave up with his right hand, he tossed it back. The black box moved like a major league fastball, aimed vaguely at the door. The large fox was hoping to catch someone by surprise, either the two new ones are the other two who might return.

The white wolf mumbled in her sleep, turning on her side. She began tossing and turning restlessly, the bench wasn't exactly comfortable. "..No.." she mumbled out an audible word. Judging by the way she was moving, she was quickly slipping into a nightmare.

[Gail Strafer]

Gail watched with caring eyes as Priscilla tossed and turned. "She's going to have nightmares for the rest of her life about this." Clearly he'd been totally suckered in by her performance earlier.

Giichi temporarily looked away so that he could do a big eye roll without his wolf friend noticing. The cat was full of questions, but right now they had more important things to attend to. However, Giichi decided he'd settle for one question for now.

"Why are you with a cop?" he asked in a hushed tone.

"I just wandered into town and Tech, that's her name, offered to let me stay with her. She's totally got the hots for me, man." Gail grinned, flashing his sharp teeth. "But don't worry, my loyalty ends with the Thieves' Guild."

Giichi's eyes narrowed at that comment.

Your mind maybe. But what about the rest of you?

"Well anyway, as soon as you've dealt with the demon knight guy in there, we need to go get my car. You're going to meet me in the Caster Nature Park at the edge of town. You're on my pay now, so you will do as I say as soon as possible."

Gail's ears visibly drooped, while he made a low whimpering sound. "Do I have to? She's really hot."

"Yes!" Giichi snarled, with the 's' almost becoming a cat hiss. He pointed at the shop's door. "Now hurry up and go finish off that demon guy!"

The wolf gave a deep sigh. "Fine... Just look after this girl for now, okay?" Gail stood up and began making his way back into the shop. He wouldn't get to the door in time to get hit by the microwave.

Meanwhile, Giichi sat beside the white wolf, waiting for her to wake up. When she did, he had plenty of questions for her too.

[Tech Rathgen]

I heard Magnus command me to aim at the beast's blind spot and it was easier said than done. The beast was running at me and I didn't know what to do. It wasn't my job to kill him, it was my job to neutralize the situation. I holster the laser and equip my handgun taser. I wait for the beast to get close enough as I aim for his ginormous head.

As soon as he gets close enough, I fire the taser for his forehead. This might not be his blind spot, but this is good enough for me considering he's coming straight at me. I hope this works.

[Jijeka-Te]

The frilled lizard and beetle glanced at one another, then entered the store and...

(Anu) "Your Majesty, watch out!"

Ji dodged the microwave hassle-free, but it clipped Anu's leg and knocked him down. The Queen assured her advisor that she'd take care of the issue to the best of her ability, then opened her frills to their maximum size and eyed the figure in the massive, fancy suit of armor (she thought it was a suit of armor).

(Ji) Anyone who can wear something that big and heavy...! I hope there's enough wind in here that I can get some mobility.

[Magnus]

Magnus sailed across the room from the force of the heavy push and hit the wall and grabbed on. He sat on the wall long enough to recover his breath and see Tech fire the taser at the giant's head.

Realizing their attacks were having little to no effect, Magnus got a crazy idea and decided to follow up on it while the Tech distracted the Knight. Magnus began to charge his now cooled gauntlets as he leaped off the wall and headed for the wooden beams supporting the barn they stood in.

Magnus shouted out as he ran past Tech so she was sure to understand the need to flee or hide under something,"Let's see how he tough he is when I bring the roof down on top of him."

[Relic Drake]

Drake opened his maw once again, catching the prongs in his mouth instead of them landing at their intended target. The metallic face twisted into a sadistic smile, Drake could barely register the tingle from the device, though he had to imagine if it was random guy, that person would be on the floor in agony. Relic found it perplexing why insisted on attacking him with the electrical element. He had struck himself with more bolts of lightning then either of these two had even seen. It was akin to conjuring a sand storm against a camel. Either way he decided he needed a way to distract them for a few moments, once he pulled the safe up, He wouldn't have use of at least one of his arms.

Relic raised his left gauntlet to his mouth level, looking as if he was blowing some kind of dust off his claw. A red mist emitted from the weapon, forming into snake like plumes that traveled quickly to their targets. Everyone besides Priscilla and Giichi. Any one hit by the crimson mist would be blessed with strength and speed triple their normal. Magnus and Gail would be on a level much closer to Relic's strength, though either one would still lose in a tug of war, the both of them combined would be able to over power the dread knight. Tech, Jijeka and Anu would also find themselves stronger and faster. Any one affected by the curse would instantly feel a rush of energy, as their heart would be beating 3 times faster, their lungs breathing 3 times faster. They would blink faster, sweat harder, heal 3 times as fast. Though no energy reserves would be extended, any one affected by the curse would fatigue 3 times faster as well, use up the sugar in their blood 3 times faster. Once affected by the curse all actions are automatically intensified. One must consciously lessen the effort the exert to get normal results. If you want to jump 3 feet, you aim to jump one foot. Any thing done out of reaction or from muscle memory will be nearly impossible to use.
The curse was upon Relic's targets in a fraction of a second. Only giving them a brief moment before they would be blessed.


Priscilla awoke from her nightmare in a cold sweat. She looked around with a sense of panic in her eyes. She was confused as to why she was on a bench outside. She turned to the cat, he was a potential victim from a few moments ago. "W-what pray tell am I doing out here." she asked, still shaken up from her rather vivid nightmare. She sat up on the bench, looking around. It was like the wolf expected something to jump out at any moment.
