I cover my eyes from the blinding light. I don't know what the beast fox will do from this and I don't know what Magnus will achieve from this. I'll just have to see the after effect once the light is gone.

Ji was unlucky enough to be looking at the flash when it took place, and was blinded. Anu was looking the other way, so he was safe.

Now with a pretty good idea of where the action is, Anu grabbed Ji and began to lead her towards where the flash had come from. He knew she'd want to go there either way.

[Magnus]

With the light subsided, Magnus saw the armored fox ready himself to leap. As the fox bent his legs, Magnus tackled his legs with all the strength he had left, with the intent of putting the dazed fox on the ground while the others closed in on him.

With his gauntlets overheated and inoperable for the time being, Magnus will do the only thing he's still capable of, hold on to the dread knight's legs and do his best to not let go.

[Vanessa Blue]

Relic took the first magnum round to the chest ineffectively, unable to have seen it coming. It tore another hole into his flesh. His previously punctured lung was now completely collapsed. He was about to recover from the shot but Magnus tackled his legs. The echidna would find himself another shade of crimson, he was directly under Relic's wounds. Placed off balance by the combined assault the second round put him in a state of falling backwards.
Relic hit the ground with a colossal thud. "This ends now...." Drake growled out, he wasn't here to fight. He was here to collect the remaining possessions and leave. It was a giant waste of time. Reaching out with his left gauntlet. He placed the over sized pie of armor as far into the air as he could reach.

"Father of the pantheon, devourer of foes, his name means time!" the dread knight's body began to emanate a cobalt blue mist. His breathing visibly quickened. His movements seemed twitchy now. He had entered the rage of Chronus.

[Gail Strafer]

Gail couldn't see much over the flash still fading in his eyes, but he could definitely hear what Relic was saying as he bellowed it out.

Finally, the bright light and after image faded from the wolf's eyes, as he surveyed the blue mist flowing from Relic's body.

"Another magic trick?! What CAN'T this monster do?!" He turned to Tech, as he moved to stand up. Gail was about to say something very difficult for him to admit. "Tech...I think...it's time we left." Gail absolutely hated to leave any fight prematurely, but he legitimately thought he would be killed if this fight continued. As invincible as he felt most of the time, that feeling was gone right now.

He held an arm out, so that Tech could help shoulder his weight and they could get out of there faster.

[Tech Rathgen]

I wrapped Gail's arm around my shoulder and I held his weight with an eagerness to get out of there and fast. "I couldn't agree more. We need to get you to my house so you can get some rest."

I go on my way with Gail's weight shouldered under me. I hope he'll be okay on the way there.

(Exuent to Vacationing with Evacuees)

Noting that Tech and Gail had decided to retreat, Anu turned and began to drag Ji with him.

(Ji) "What's the meaning of--"
(Anu) "The situation isn't going well. Our hosts have opted to leave, and I think we'd better do the same."

After some hesitation, Ji agreed, and they both took to the air. (EXIT)

[Magnus]

"You're right, this ends now!" Magnus said. Still on the ground with the fox, Magnus straddled his chest and slugged him in the jaw again, then put one arm behind his neck and another under his chin against his neck to make for a sleeper hold. With everyone gone, he'd have to do whatever necessary to stop the fox. Magnus wasn't about to let him pull another trick like teleporting, and if this was another buff of some kind, Magnus hoped he'd pass out before he could use it.

[Relic Drake]

Relic had detached himself from the very flow of time. He most powerful spell. Much like his other arcane uses, this one too held utilitarian uses as well as combative. The fox's face recovered from the punch before even Magnus' fist could. Every force, momentum, inertia , vectors. They all where sped up along with the dread knight.
Even getting choked out right now was much faster then normal.Just how Relic could operate with magnum shells tearing through his body freely, Drake was capable of operating with out oxygen much longer then any normal being.

He moved his left gauntlet to Magnus' right side, lining up his extended claw. He held the gauntlet just a few micro meters from the echidna's right side. Rapidly closing his fist and exerting massive force with his forearm, he one inch punched his assailant, aiming for his liver. If Magnus hadn't managed to some how avoid the hit, he would find that having his liver struck to give an explosion of pain second only to direct neural stimulation. As well as the surge of toxins being forced from his liver back into his blood stream causing temporary paralysis lasting about 20 seconds.

Relic was attempting to say something, but between having his wind pipe forcibly shut, his quickened state and shredded lungs, harsh gurgling sounds came out with just as much blood. Always more blood.

He rose to his feet, making his way once more to the barn. Even if Magnus still clung to his neck, he would not be stopped. With his sped up time he was no longer moving at a sluggish pace.

[Magnus]

Magnus let go just before the hit connected and attempted to roll off, but still took damage to his ribs mid-roll. If he wasn't sure if he had broken ribs earlier, he was now.

Magnus was kneeling now, this fight was over. In the condition he was in he wouldn't be able to continue without sustaining serious injury or killing his opponent. So instead he struggled to stand up and began to follow him, half limping, to see what was so important he'd fight so hard for it.
