Priscilla's yee olde shoppe
((Coming from the vacationing topic.))

Priscilla narrowed her eyes when she caught the dark red echidna push his way to the front of the crowd. He easily stood out as the most imposing figure to appear before the wolf. At first she took a step back, worried he was going to start something. Then Magnus spoke the magic word "pay".

The smile that shined on her face was quickly erased, as someone from the crowd had latched onto Magnus. She huffed forward with indignation printed on her white face.

The guy from the crowd was some really old man. Old enough that if Magnus shook him off the too hard he was liable to hurt him. "You have to help us, sonny." The old man horsed out. "She'll suck us dry, the cold witch!"

Lady Priscilla arrived to hear the last of his words. Her face grew red with anger as she clenched her fist and gritted her teeth. After a brief moment of fuming she caught of hold of her temper, Her calm demeanor seemed to simply 'snap' in. "Disregard the elderly." She interjected, coming between the old person and Magnus. Latching onto his arm in attempt to guide him into the store. She wasn't flab herself, but her arms seemed like sticks compared to his. "A strapping lad such as yourself shouldn't have burdens placed upon his back so readily." She puckered up her lips, batting her long eye lashes. Trying to give as innocent face as a wolf could give to the echidna, playing on her natural beauty and charms.

Though if Magnus had heroic tendencies, here was an entire group of people crying injustice at this wolf. A wolf who came off as slicker then a greased bar of soap. Her workers seemed to be full of repentance.

"Excuse me..." Giichi said, tapping on the shoulder of a raccoon. He stood at the edge of the crowd outside the store. "What's going on here?"
Positively fuming (although not at Giichi), the raccoon whirled around and rapidly launched into a loud diatribe for the cat.

"This...this...well..." the raccoon slicked back his hair as he growled. "Well...I can't say the word for her right now. Anyway, she...she...she's charging goods with a markup of 500%! Says she's doing it because of the battle going on in Soleanna."

Giichi chuckled a bit, and now the raccoon was looking indignant at him. The cat raised is hands in a sign of defense. "Hey hey...don't be like that. I just wanted to say that the battle's over, man. I was there. Robotnik's retreated."

A number of other people standing around the raccoon turned around, upon hearing the words "the battle's over". Giichi suddenly had himself a little audience. Everyone nearby went quiet and waited expectantly for more information. Giichi definitely wasn't prepared for this... Gulping, the cat decided he'd just keep talking.

"Well...yeah. I mean...you can probably head back home now. If I were you, I'd just get enough to get by on until you get back to Soleanna..."

"Bless you son!" an older female otter said. "I think I'm going to leave right now! No need to stay here anymore!"

"Yeah me too!"

"Me three!"

"But what about those of us who still live here?!"
a turtle shouted. "We've still got her to deal with! All the other stores are all of a sudden ransacked! This feels very shady to me!"

Giichi didn't know what to say to that. He looked towards the door of the shop. What could he do to intervene? Giichi was a tiny, short guy, and he just didn't project authority with how he looked like a teenager. Not really knowing what he was going to do, he slowly made his way inside.

RE: Priscilla's yee olde shoppe
Magnus felt bothered by what the crowd was saying but saw their spirits were just lifted and decided their problem seemed to be working out, so he returned his attention to Priscilla.

"So, I take it you can get me motorcycle parts, provided I can pay whatever you're asking?"

RE: Priscilla's yee olde shoppe
Lady Priscilla licked her lips in a hungry manner. "Dear, I can provide what ever you want, if you pay."

She walked with the crimson echidna, escorting him farther into the warehouse. It was a large wooden structure separated by three large isles of stuff. The place had a new, fresh feeling about. even though Priscilla acquired the place as a barn before turning it into a shop.

"Though you will have to show me what a 'Motor-si-call is." The white wolf had a hard time pronouncing the foreign sounding object. Having never heard of one. She raised a brow watching the cat enter,A purpose in his steps. "oh?" She said quietly to herself. "My pet, see if what you seek is in the isles. If not I could fetch it for you. It seems I have matters to attend to. Excuse my rudeness."

With that she pointed Magnus into the isles, his item wouldn't be there. but Priscilla had no clue of that. Turning around to to greet the cat. "Yes, welcome to my shop. Lady Priscilla at the ready." She took a small curtsy. Her red dress made her look stunning as ever.

"My pet, see if what you seek is in the isles. If not I could fetch it for you. It seems I have matters to attend to. Excuse my rudeness."

As the woman turned around to see to Magnus's needs, Giichi raised an eyebrow. He mouthed 'Pet?' in repetition as he did this. Sighing, he shook his head and put his eyes back on the wolf again. Yeah...he was right. He definitely didn't project business or stature to this woman.

Giichi thought about confronting the woman with her pricing from the start, but then thought better of it. Perhaps he should look at the goods around the store first. If they'd been hastily stolen in the night, some of them might show evidence of it.

It was then that she turned her attention back to him. "Yes, welcome to my shop. Lady Priscilla at the ready." She took a small curtsy. Her red dress mad her look stunning as ever.

Giving a false smile, Giichi spoke politely. "I'll just browse for now, thank you." He held a cautious glance for a moment, before he rapidly began scanning the items on the shelves.

This was a lot of stuff, and according to the townspeople the other stores got ransacked only very recently. If she and the chipmunk were the store's only employees, they'd never have time to strip the old price tags off of everything. Or perhaps part of the old tags would be left still on the products. Or maybe some items would show damage from being dropped or packed tightly into a getaway truck.

He picked up a few cereal boxes and began examining them for the defects he'd just thought of in his head. The cat didn't see anything yet, but the current price on the box definitely was excessive. $15 for corn flakes? Regardless, he hid this surprise on his face.

RE: Priscilla's yee olde shoppe
Magnus was becoming more sure that this locale did not have what he wanted, especially because Priscilla could not even pronounce the word motorcycle. Still, something did not sit right with Magnus, considering that Priscilla was so sure that she could procure the parts he needed and the angry ranting crowd from outside shouting scam. Rather than leave right away, Magnus decided to play along and get to the bottom of this. Now taking notice of the newcomer, scanning each object a little more carefully than someone browsing normally would, Magnus now addresses the wolf again while studying the cat.

"Lady Priscilla, I do not see the part I'm looking for anywhere on the shelves. What I need is a shock absorber for a motorcycle, a two wheeled motorized vehicle. Will you be able to procure this part for me, or will I have to take my business to the parts store that I heard is on SandBox Ln.?"

RE: Priscilla's yee olde shoppe
The wolf turned away from the cat back to Magnus. "That won't be necessary," She hid all traces of anger building up. From Magnus' suggestion to leave and from Giichi blowing her off. Everything for the sake of money. "Shock absorbers, Sandbox. Got it." The second part of her sentenced seemed weird. As if it was meant for someone one else. With that it seemed as if some looming presence lifted from the area.

She escorted him further into the barn like structure. All the way to the back, a small table waiting there.
She took up a seat. Offering the red echidna one. "Please, dear. Sit for a spell. My 'employees' are out searching the storehouse for your part."
A raccoon came by, pouring a cup of tea for the wolf. "Would you care for a bit? I must say the tea here is marvelous." The raccoon wasn't a butler or anything. It just seemed that when she sat down, it was expected that she had tea. There was little she could do about the perusing cat, though in a few moments he would become a bother. If he persisted after that, she would have him dealt with appropriately

Having been listening from the attic, Relic began to move when he heard Priscilla's encrypted command. The large fox exited the attic of the barn from a back window. Dropping down in between the building with a subtle thud. He went gear less, save for his left gauntlet which he couldn't remove. Even with the crimson breaking up his ebony fur. He managed to meld into the shadows of the alleyways of the buildings. Making his way to the shop on sandbox Ln. A large burlap sack is all he carried with him.

RE: Priscilla's yee olde shoppe
By this time, Giichi felt quite certain he'd found stolen merchandise in this store. Price tags from several other stores could be seen on many of the boxes and containers. Among these were perishable grocery items like meat, so it'd be extremely unlikely they were just resold to this store by the other stores.

So now the question was what to do about it.

Alert the authorities? Perhaps, but he was Giichi Twinkieland and he knew cops were out there looking for him. Confront Priscilla about it? She'd probably just deny it and then kick him out. Rally the other citizens to his cause? Oh yes, oh hell yes. One person can be safely ignored and cast aside, but try doing that to a mob.

The cat quickly gathered a few items for evidence in a sales basket and walked towards the front of the shop, where some stragglers were still left. A few people looked in curiousity as he climbed onto a leftover stool, and prepared to make a little speech.

"Yes please, I'll have a cup of tea, thank you."

Magnus hid his suspicions behind a pleasant smile and a humble demeanor. It was obvious that this was some kind of shady scam, but he was still not sure what exactly, more information would be needed.

"So how long have you had your shop set up here Lady Priscilla?"

RE: Priscilla's yee olde shoppe
The wolf poured Magnus' cup of tea herself. She was eager to get his money as she would with any one else, Yet she was slightly enchanted with the echidna. A sort of new play thing entered her grasp. He wasn't chatty, How she hated those who gabbed on. Only redeeming quality of Relic unlike the other one who came with her servant. Magnus was also very pleasing to her eyes, unlike the frail mouth breathing furs who had half a nerve to call themselves 'men' running around this world.

"My dear." she leaned in with a devilish smile. "Why talk about such tame topics." She was dropping a hint to Magnus he had her fancy.

Relic moved swiftly amongst the alleyways, climbing onto rooftops when he needed. With out his armor he had a greater range of movement. Keeping low crawling on all fours. He acted more like a gecko then a fox. With in no time he arrived, one of the few stores on Sandbox St. With out any effort the large fox lifted the back door off its hinges. Making a cracking sound, yet not loud enough to be alarming. Normally no one would have the strength to do that, instead they would break through the door. Much louder that way. Rustling through the store he soon found what he was looking for shock absorbers. Stuffing 10 or so of the spring like mechanisms into the bag he began to return to the general store.
