"I've killed my fair share 'a Freedom Fighters, Bunnie Rabbot, Lupe Wolf. Even that perky Princess Sally. Heh, oh Sonic wasn't too happy about that one..."

If Rampage could have provided some proof of all this, Robotnik would have been very impressed. But for all the doctor knew at this point, Rampage was a liar and he was just trying to get out of being punished for what he'd done.

Regardless, the shut-down code intrigued him. If he could shut down Rampage any time he pleased, then it would be a most useful tool to have. He'd definitely make sure to have redundant control systems for that though...

"I'll accept your offer if you let me add a condition of my own. You stay in prison until I find the code. Deal?"

Per Rampage's request, Robo made sure to speak in a quiet tone so that none of the others would overhear.

One of the medic bots finally noticed Rose struggling for her gun, and went to retrieve it. Robotnik designed the medic bots to be a little more attentive and caring than his other robots, considering they were his personal medical staff. Anyway, after getting the gun back, the robot held out Henry to her.

"Did you need this, Miss Rose?"

Unlike the SWATbots, the medic bot spoke in a female voice, and in a much more soothing tone too.

Rampage just leaned back oh-so-causally and shut his one eye. "Fine, just don't take too long okay? I might get bored waiting around; and when I get bored, I get trigger happy."

Rose took the gun back, swiping it out of the robot’s gripe while she gave it an angry glare. She was angry but for what reason Alta didn’t know. It seemed as something had snapped and it shown in her eyes as she looked at the bot with hate. Sitting up, looking towards the doc before she was being carried away, she shouted.

“Hey, Doc… Do me a favor and shut the DAMN voices offa these things! If I have to hear –anything- that act’s like it gives a damn, I’ll go on a Killing Spree!! A very, -very-,big killing spree...”

Alta’s face held an expression that showed a combination of dullness, dumbfounded, and dreary as he closed his eyes. He seriously did understand his complication about people or things showing signs of caring. But it seemed to be something of her staple in her personality.

“Well, you’d have to wait a week anyways with your leg being in that shape…” Alta remarked aside.

“DON’T REMIND ME!”

He jumped slightly, the reply catching him off guard.

[Hey guys, how about a brief time skip after this post? Perhaps to the point where Robo has learned Rampage's code and Alta's done getting Rose settled into the hospital. What do you think? Perhaps we could join in on the Outskirts topic too.]

Robotnik smiled with relief when Rampage accepted his offer. He was afraid it would have been harder than that.

"Good...I'll be meeting you in the prison once you're there. Until next time, Rampage."

The SWATbots carted Rampage into the SWATpod, and soon it would be flying back towards the imposing-looking Egg Command Tower in the center of the city. It wouldn't be long before Rampage found himself in the cells there. It looked like Robotnik already had a console set up outside for the purpose of doing diagnostics on the cyborg's systems.
