RE: Egg Air Field.
[FYI, Rampage's cybernetics do NOT have any sort of wireless link up that would allow anyone to hack his systems. AT ALL!!! They're cybernetics for cripes sake. The closest thing he might have would be a built in radio, but even so, it's all a closed system.]

Rampage rolled his eyes and sighed with frustration. "Alright, fine. You want it that way, huh?" As he finished speaking Rampage hooked his legs between Bocoe's crotch and started pulling on his body while his twisted and wrenched his upper body. Normally hitting anyone in the groin would probably been enough to get Bocoe to release him, but being a robot, all it did was give Rampage the leverage he needed.

Bocoe's grip was strong indeed, but the hold only worked if Rampage did not push his body beyond the extents for which it was intended. With a solid pop, Rampage's organic shoulder dislocated itself, allowing the badger to fall out of Bocoe's grip with ease. Rampage's only hint of pain was a slight grimace as he landed. With a casual air about him, Rampage rose to his feet, took his robotic left arm and yanked on his limp right arm. With another sickening pop, his shoulder snapped back into place.

Flexing his muscles a few times to get the feeling back in it, Rampage took a few casual, non-threatening steps towards Robotnik and waved him closer with two of his robotic fingers. "Come here, Boss, I got something to tell you; and JUST you."

[Let me know if getting out of that hold is stretching the combat rules a little.]

RE: Egg Air Field.
“Why wouldn’t they?” Rose answered somewhat snarkly at the Doctor’s comment; as though it was a known thing. A look of disappoint ran across her face as she stopped her frantic typing. Obvious, whatever she had tried to do had failed. But the weird thing was, she was getting a connection on the laptop. But she still couldn’t quite get into it…

But as Rampage weaseled through the Bocoe’s hold, Rose’s attitude changed almost immediately. Her sly look changed into a deep concern. She reached for her gun; only to find it not there. Looking what was behind her (but now beside), as she was being picked up, she saw it lying on the ground. Of course, she stupidly tried to reach it from her position, only to mentally slap herself. Once knowing it was out of reach, she struggled out of the robot’s grips, in a somewhat desperate attempt to get it.

On the other hand, Alta was picking up the remains of his coat; the little bits of blood on his hands quickly staining.

There goes my coat… he muttered silently to himself as he hung it over his left arm.

As soon as he looked up, he would see that Rampage had gotten out of Bocoe’s hold. Though a look of worry entered his face, it took no time for him to automatically reach into his pocket and grab onto the Screwdriver. He would continue to shift around in his pockets for the back-up batterey to connect it do. He quickly took the coat and placed it over his shoulder; once so, finally managing to connect the battery. Now, he had it on hand. He didn’t turn it on though, after all, the other bots as well as Decoe and Bocoe would go out as well as Rampage’s own parts. Instead, he watched and waited to see the kind of move he would pull.

RE: Egg Air Field.
The look on Bocoe’s face was nothing but shock as someone was able to get out of his hold.

Both of them wanted to responded, but ended up standing incredible still as they watched the badger. Both of them felt that if they had moved that Rampage would do something bad. VERY bad. But it didn’t mean they didn’t prepare. Bocoe was fully prepared to begin a chage and Decoe was already gripping onto his yo-yo.

RE: Egg Air Field.
When Robo saw the badger starting to slip out of Bocoe's grasp, a jolt of terror ran down his spine and he unconsciously started stepping backwards.

"Come here, Boss, I got something to tell you; and JUST you."

I feel like a little kid who's being waved into a van by a man who says he's got 'candy'...

"After what you did to Rose? I don't think so."

Robotnik appeared to be trying to act tough, but his lip trembled, and he took some more steps back as the badger approached. The doctor waved his arms, and some nearby SWATbots rapidly moved to form a line between Rampage and Robotnik, as they pointed their stun guns at him.

Robotnik didn't want to resort to any more force, but Rampage had already proven himself to be rather unpredictable and dangerous. Still, perhaps he could bargain with the badger a bit to defuse the situation.

"Look Rampage. If you want to talk, that's fine. But you need to get in the cage first. Does that sound fair?"

After he said that, he checked his communicator, making sure it wasn't tuned to Rampage's frequency, and whispered. "If he turns aggressive again, blast him with the stun guns."

RE: Egg Air Field.
Rampage smiled, seemingly satisfied with Robotnik's request. It wasn't that Rampage was thrilled with the idea of being stuffed inside the cage for the sake of making Robotnik feel at ease talking to him. Nope, he was in fact feeling immensely pleased with himself that he had managed to effectively strike fear into Robotnik. Rampage has a keen observational eye. He could tell that Robotnik was scared of him from his body language. On the one hand, that is precisely how Rampage prefers for others to regard him. But on the other hand, being feared under the current situation did not give rise to trust. Which is something Rampage needs more than intimidation right now.

With a casual, non-threatening gait, Rampage strolled into the cage and swung the door behind him. To give Robotnik a further sense of security, Rampage sat down at the back of the cage, well out of reach of Robotnik. "Satisfied?"

As Rampage waited for Robotnik to approach the cage so that he could tell him his little secret in relative seclusion, Rampage's cybernetic eye scanned the cage he was now within. A list of readings scrolled across his vision: spectroscopic charts, measurements, force calculations. Rampage smiled with satisfaction as the last of the readings disappeared and folded his arms across his chest as he waited for Robotnik to come to him.

Alta sighed in relief when the badger went into the cell. He took the device out of his pocket though, as he watched the conversation.

Rose on the other hand stopped struggling as soon as she saw that she wasn’t getting out of the grasp of the robots anytime soon.

Decoe and Bocoe eased up too, as they saw the badger comply.

(Sorry, don’t have much. It'll get better after these)

RE: Egg Air Field.
(Sorry, Thanksgiving holiday and all that kept me away from my computer. And I'm sorry again for making you wait so long for this little post >>)

Robotnik slowly moved over to the cage, but stayed out of arms reach. After he waved away the robots to stand back, he knelt down so that he would be more at Rampage's level.

"All right...so what's this important thing you want to tell me?"

Robotnik half felt he should just ignore everything else Rampage had to say and just take him straight to the Roboticizer, but he was curious about this.

RE: Egg Air Field.
Rampage stared back at Robotnik from across the cage, his eyes locked on Robotnik's. His robotic never blinked. Even when Rampage's organic eye did, his cybernetic eye never faltered. It had to be an unnerving sight.

"I'm gonna let you in on a little secret Doc. One I hope you'll keep t' yourself. See, the other Doc; the one I worked for? He was scared 'a me too. But he also knew that if he wanted t' beat an organic mind, he couldn't do it with a robotic one. He knew that the only way t' kill a snake, is t' send his own down the hole. That's why he saved my life. He knew I was valuable. But he also knew that if he robotized me completely, I'd be just as mindless and worthless as any other bot he's ever made. That's why he ONLY robotized the parts of me that I needed.

"I've killed my fair share 'a Freedom Fighters, Bunnie Rabbot, Lupe Wolf. Even that perky Princess Sally. Heh, oh Sonic wasn't too happy about that one..." Rampage allowed a brief chuckle at the memories of his tormented adversary.

"But that just made him scared 'a me all the more. That's why, when he robotized me he installed a fail-safe in me. If I got outta line, he flicks a switch and pfft, that's it I'm dead. I don't like admitting it, but this cybernetic chest 'a mine is the only thing keeping me alive right now. Can't say I know the code that activates it, otherwise I would've found a way t' disable it by now. But, if you keep me on, I'll let you poke around and find it. You get my valuable services and the assurance of my loyalty that you want, I get want. All I ask in return is that you, and only you have knowledge and access to that device inside me and that you promise that those characters over there stay outta my way. Deal?"

[ Skip, there’s nothing to do. Also, what –is- happening to Rose all through this? I would have thought she would have been taken away, but you haven’t posted what the medic bots have been doing.]
