Egg Air Field.
[From Egg Command Tower]
----
The view out of the windows showed the massive air field, where all the carriers and eggpods came to land. The field was empty now, though, as the recent invasion of Soleanna had started about an hour ago.

Rose stood in the lobby, overlooking the massive air field. Thanks to an extra pair of shoes, she was no longer shoeless- and she had dawned her Robotnik jacket and prez-nez glasses. She looked to be a cross of a beatnik and a fangirl, but telling her so would probably warrant a death-wish. Her arms were folded as she eyed the air field like a hawk, her expression emotionless as she did so. To Alta, it was obvious she was deep in thought and in anticipation about the good Doctor. After all, Rose –was- his old assistant; and she hadn’t seen the Doc in several years. Being dead was just like that after all….

Shifting Hennery on his shoulders, Alta too looked at the airfield. He had already asked a lot of questions since he got Rose’s to stop trying to kill everyone, and it was obvious she didn’t quite like it. She sounded bored an un-amused as he tried to find out just what happened after she escaped from G.U.N. After all, he hadn’t seen her in seven years, and he couldn’t help but wonder why she hadn’t gone completely insane. But she had stopped answering questions at a point and now they both stood in silence. Rose’s eyebrows furrowed a little bit as she hardly blinked looking out the windows. Alta sighed silelently. He’d have to wait for the Doctor’s return before she would begin to talk to him again.

RE: Egg Air Field.
[From Egg Flag Ship]

If the group on the Egg Carrier looked out the window, they'd see this world's version of Robotropolis for the first time. That is...assuming they could catch glimpses of it through the ever-present noxious smog.

It looked like a normal city being overtaken by Robotnik's metallic and industrial architecture. While Robotnik's tall factories and citadels dominated most of the landscape, they'd see a fair amount of ordinary skyscrapers and brick buildings. However, the ordinary buildings definitely looked to be in a state of disrepair compared with Robo's structures. Sitting in the middle of all this was a giant-egg shaped building...the Egg Command Center.

"Home sweet home..." Robotnik softly said, as he surveyed his empire. "It's just one city now, but that will change before long."

For now though, their destination was the Egg Air Field on the outskirts of the city. Rose would see them approaching through the smog surrounding the city right that instant.

RE: Egg Air Field.
[From Egg Carrier]

Since Rampage had lost his sense of smell due to the accident that destroyed half his face and had subsequently been replaced thanks to the miracle of robotization, Rampage hardly paid any head to the noxious smells. But that didn't mean he couldn't smell. In his robotic eye, he could see a scrolling list of the chemicals his cybernetic olfactory sensor detected. It couldn't replace real smells, but at the very least, he could identify hazardous materials so that he didn't die of smoke inhalation for example.

By now, Rampage made sure to retrieve his prized laser rifle from his ship, in addition to his remaining five Com-bots waiting for him. By the time the Egg Carrier made landfall, Rampage would have transferred the command codes to Robotnik.

"Heh, I'm not too worried if all you have is one city. That just means there's plenty of room for improvement, and plenty of fighting to go around as you expand."

RE: Egg Air Field.
[From Egg Flag Ship]

Following the Doctor’s action, the three walked over towards the window with him as soon as he passed them by. Staying slightly behind, but apart so they would be at the Doctor’s side (Decoe at his left, Bocoe at his right), they looked out to see the huge city. All three of them looked at the city in awe. Not because of its magnificent, but because of its state. While Rampage would see a list, Decoe and Bocoe would ‘hear’ the list in what they knew as the back of their head as they both looked at the city with concerned faces.

“I never thought it would be dirty…”Bokkun muttered to himself as he latched off Bocoe’s shoulder.

“This is a city?” Bocoe muttered as well, looking at the sight worriedly. “Looks more like a smog factory to me.”Looking towards the Doctor, he pointed out the window. “Dr. Eggman-sama, are you sure it’s okay for you to breathe in that stuff? It looks like it could kill you.”His tone sounded extremely concerned; like a child that was being afraid for someone else.

While Bocoe muttered his concerned talk, Decoe looked at the city with silence with a strange look on his face. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but it felt like he had been here before. It had felt as though he’d been there about a million times. But it was missing something, something the current state was covering up. Closing his eyes to try and get an image, he concentrated on opening memory banks. HE tried to match up the city’s current sky-line with what he’d seen before. Only a few seconds would pass before the image match would come up, and a look of surprise would be planted on his face. He finally would really what the place was missing. It was missing a clear blue sky, skyscrapers gleaming sunlight bouncing off the windows; and most importantly, a glimmering ocean.

His hand pointing in the direction of the city, Decoe looked over towards the Doctor. “That’s…That’s Station Square….isn’t it?” The look on his face would show some disbelief as well as complete shock; though he was trying to mask it up by closing his eyes and a fake smile.

When Bocoe heard this, he looked back at the city quickly; as though he was doing a double. Bokkun just seemed to have a slight shocked, yet amused, look on his face.

“Really?” Bokkun began with a tone of amazement,“You actually took it over?”He was flying about level to the Doctor as he turned to look at him with wide eyes.

RE: Egg Air Field.
There was a slight shift in her demeanor as she saw the carrier come through the smog. She finally blinked, stepping forward a little. Though that seemed to be it, as her face stayed the way it was. As a few moments passed by, Rose felt somewhat strange. Looking at the incoming fleet, Rose couldn’t help but feel some nostalgia; and maybe some regret.

“So, The doctor’s finally home…” Rose said in a quiet emotionless voice. Standing for a few seconds in silence, she started to talk at a normal tone. “There’s probably some kind of delusional hidden meaning in this event for me, but I really don’t care about it now.”

Even though Alta saw the carrier and looked at it with wide eyes, he was far more surprised at Rose’s strange outburst than the carrier. It was something he wouldn’t expect Rose to say, though then again he forgot that he might as well throw his arms into the air. It had been seven years and he had no idea what damage Rose had taken to her mentality. Trying to judge her actions was like judge a frog’s when he only had information on tadpoles.

As soon as he snapped out of his inner mind, he would finally see Rose walking away, going down the stairs to the main floor. He would begin to follow her in a hurry, as he positioned the gun on his shoulders. She still looked emotionless, which he couldn’t help but compare her to the walking dead. Obviously, her mind was somewhere else.

RE: Egg Air Field.
Robotnik smiled broadly at his three new robotic friends. He was hoping someone would notice. "Yes, that is correct. I've finally conquered it, rebuilt it as a better place, and named it Robotropolis. In the dimension I came from, at least. I understand that in some other dimensions Sonic managed to save it?"

The doctor shrugged.

"Oh well...as long as it didn't happen where I was, I'm happy. As for the chemicals, don't worry. I let my robots do most of the work outside in the streets. Most of my time is spent in the Egg Command Tower...that egg-shaped building you can see now. The air in there is perfectly clean."

The doctor pointed to the building in the center of town. It would be hard to miss, both because of its distinctive shape and the fact that it dwarfed almost every other building in town. Although it had a few construction rigs attached to it at the moment, which were currently repairing the damage wrought by the Freedom Fighter attack earlier in the day.

The doctor gave a small sigh as he looked at the cranes plugging the hole. It reminded him so much of all the security failures he'd had today.

"To think...if I had just stopped the Freedom Fighters from stealing information about the Soleanna attack earlier today, we probably would have been sleeping in the Soleanna grand palace tonight."

He strode away from the hole with regret on his face, and walked towards the front of the ship where a giant exit ramp would be unfolding shortly. The Egg Carrier slowly settled to the tarmac, as the doors opened up. That noxious-looking air began to flow into the ship, and it made Robo wrinkle his nose a little bit.

RE: Egg Air Field.
Rampage looked over the city, nodding in satisfaction to see similarities in the Robotropolis' design that he remembered from his own dimension. But he didn't care how the thing looked, so long as he could fight, that's all that mattered to him.

But as he was scanning the city scape, his eyes fell upon the airport to which they'd soon be landing. In doing so, he happened to notice two people who looked like they were waiting on the tarmac for the Egg Carrier to land. The strange thing is, by zooming in on the two people with his cybernetic eye, Rampage could see that one of them was wearing a jacket very similar to Robotniks. "Hey, Boss, who's the fan girl waiting at the airport?"

RE: Egg Air Field.
Though there was a lot to process as well as ask as they followed the Doctor, Rampages comment threw Decoe, as well as Bocoe and Bokkun off guard. Looking towards Rampage with a strange look on his face; Decoe responded quickly, with a tone of shock and disbelief.

Eggman-sama has a Fan Girl?!?”

“This development is a surprise to me too!!” Bokkun exclaimed, generally surprised; but not in disbelief like Decoe and Bocoe.

Looking back at the doctor, Decoe gave a somewhat concerned expression. “Dr. Eggman-sama, have you been brainwashing people to adore you again? Decoe admonished.

“If he did that, wouldn’t there be more?” Bocoe questioned with sincerity in his voice, “ Wouldn’t there be hundreds instead of just one?”

Looking up as though he was thinking for a second, Decoe ended up nodding in agreement. “You have a point there…”Decoe began as he folded his arms “…I still can’t see how it’s possible…..”

“…Maybe it’s like Amy-san?”

As soon as Bocoe even mentioned it, both Decoe and Bocoe seemed to shutter at the mere mention of the idea.

“I hope not!!” Decoe exclaimed, “That’d be a NIGHTMARE! And not just for us….

(OCT: Sorry for the weirdness of the Decoe and Bocoe posts. I'm still trying to find a posting style for them. Hence why Decoe's font changed to brown.)

RE: Egg Air Field.
Rose seemed to rush onto the tarmac quickly. Though she wasn’t running, she was obviously in a hurray as well; her face still expressionless. As Alta followed, he attempted to stop Rose from running on the tarmac any longer. After all, if they got too close they could get hurt.

“Ah, Rose!” Alta begin in his usual meek nature as he reached out for her arm, “Rose, could you stop just for a-”

As soon as he managed to grab ahold of her arm, there was a sudden change in her nature. She turned around quickly, grabbing him by the color of his shirt and lifted him off the ground with an enraged, psychotic expression he had never seen before.

TOUCH ME AGAIN, AND I’LL CUCIFY YOU WHILE A SLOW FIRE BURNS YOU!!!!

She stared at him for a couple of seconds; a look of horror on his face, before setting him down back on the ground. Her face went back almost immediately to the zombie-like expression before as she turned quickly back around and continued her course.

Alta stood in place for a while in complete shock, as he tried to regain his composure from Rose’s sudden….well, whatever she had just did. It was obvious to him that his questions about Rose’s mental health were answered in that little psyocitc episode she just had. Now, to make sure he wouldn’t do something like that to upset her again.

RE: Egg Air Field.
Dr. Robotnik spun around on the spot, when Rampage mentioned a fangirl. At first the badger's statement confused him, but then he actually seemed to smile. It seemed the simple idea of having a little fanclub really stoked his ego.

"Someone likes me enough to be a fangirl? I can't wait to meet this person!"

The doctor turned round again once more and this time took off at a little jog down the opening exit ramp. It was then that the robot trio started talking about him brainwashing people.

"Well, actually I have...with the Roboticizer. I don't know if your Robotnik had that, but it turns living creatures into robots. And they're programmed to do only one goal...serve me. Regardless, this is very unusual. I wonder if it actually is someone who's been roboticized..."

As he stepped out on the tarmac, Robo looked all over the place trying to find this girl. He wondered how he'd spot her...when he saw someone wearing the same coat as him.

Yes...I think that's it.

Grinning, Robotnik strode towards her. But when she saw her suddenly grab the man behind her round the throat, the doctor stopped in his tracks, as he gave a little gulp. Perhaps it'd be best to let his compatriots go first.

Waving his hands, he motioned for Rampage, Decoe, Bocoe, and Bokkun to walk beside him. "Maybe it's best if we come as a group. I don't want to leave you behind now, do I?" He made sure to speak softly enough for the two newcomers to not hear.

After giving a nervous little laugh, the two groups would meet on the tarmac together. "So...who are you, young lady? I see you're a fan." He smiled.
