RE: Battle of Soleanna - Field Hospital
I was just plain dumbstruck. I didn't know what to say. "That's incredible. You mean you've always been able to create fire like that; and it doesn't even hurt?"

"Hurt? Uhhh, no." she pondered for a moment. "It didn't hurt that giant dude when he touched it either." She reached her paw out for Chadin to touch the fire. If the deer touched it, he would find tha even in the midst of the flames, it was a soothing heat. Like an electric blanket.

Apprehensively, I reached out my paw and to my astonishment the flames did not harm me at all. I was bursting with questions but I had no idea where to begin asking. "So, you've always been able to do that? Do... Do you think you could teach me? How to control these new powers I seem to have that is."

Vanessa's eyes went wide with shock when he asked the question. 'Teach' was one of those words that would do that to you when you spent most of your freshman year in high school beating up seniors. "Um uh I guess I don't know. I could try." She had a very meek tone, something anyone who was around her or any length of time would come to believe impossible.
"Well we'll do that when you're not all effed up man." a question popped into the young cats head "who spanked you that hard any way?"

"Robotnik. To be fair though, I wasn't going up against just one person. Me and my friends were in the thick of the fighting here. Considering how out numbered we were, not to mention how out matched we were compared to Robotnik's giant robot I'd say its a miracle I'm not worse off.[/b]"

Vaness was about to answer but by this time one of the nurses came around. "I hope she isn't bothering you." she said while setting down a tray full of medicine. The nurse hadn't seen the blue cats special powers, and from her comment Vanessa just sunk into her chair, pouting.

"Nah, it's been nice having someone to talk too actually. I'd... I'd like to thank you for helping me... You know, patching up my wounds and such. It's been a rather unexpected surprise to see you Overlander's help one of my kind at all. Where I'm from, you Overlander's aren't exactly known to show Mobian's like me such generosity. I'm afraid I don't have anything I can offer you in return." My ears flopped down to the sides as admitted I had no money or valuables to repay these Overlanders for quite possibly saving my life.

The nurse nodded and smiled, not sure what to take from Chadin's speech. "Don't worry, no charge. Just get better." She walked away after that to attend to other patients.
"What's an overloader?" Vanessa asked the deer when the nurse had gone. She came from a world where humans and animals lived together. She had never heard the term "overlander(loader)"

"Where I come from Overlander's are what we Mobian's called these..." I pointed towards all the human patients in the recovery ward. "I think I've also heard them referred to as humans?"

RE: Battle of Soleanna - Field Hospital
"Heh, I just call 'em dudes, man." like a sudden realization the feeling of tiredness swept over the blue cat. She ket out a big yawn, not one for manners. "Oh man I am tired, when did it so late?" The cat had spent the better part of the day at Chadin's bed side.
