Battle of Soleanna - Field Hospital

[Princess Elise]

The soldiers nod to Giichi and lead him and Falina over toward a field hospital. It was nothing special, just some tents set up in a park behind some trees for cover. Giichi would be led inside so that his wounds could be treated, and a field medic would soon approach him and help him up onto one of the cots that were arranged in the tent for patients so that he could start examining him and seeing what his injuries were.

[Giichi Twinkieland]

[Okay.]

"Thank you...thank you..." Giichi said, as he was laid on a cot. He breathed a long sigh of relief, now that he was in caring hands. Looking up at the medic, he moved his shot arm so it was more visible. "Could you...look at this first, please? It hurts...hurts so much...." The cat had to keep pausing as he talked, since he breathed so hard from his injuries.

[Falina]

Falina is led into the main hospital tent along with Giichi, and she watches as the cat is moved to a cot so that he can be examined by a doctor. She wanted to go over and be with him during this time, but another medic came to her and insisted in checking her out. She performed a quick examination and found what Falina already knew, that she was perfectly healthy, apart from perhaps a few bruises here and there.

Now she was free to go over and see Giichi. She didn't get too close, wanting to let the doctor do his job, but she figured she'd want a friend at her side if she was in Giichi's situation. She smiles softly as she looks at him, glad that he could be properly tended to now, though she winced as she saw his now more exposed wounded arm. That didn't look good.

[Princess Elise]

The field medic that examined Falina moved on to tend to other patients when Falina moved to go see Giichi. The doctor tending to Giichi however, was hard at work. He called for a nurse to assist him when he saw the extent of the wound to Giichi's arm, then turned back to the cat. "Alright... Giichi was it? We're probably going to need to get a blood transfusion for you. Do you know your blood type?" He asks as he begins to try and stop the bleeding in Giichi's arm.

[Giichi Twinkieland]

Giichi gave out another soft groan as the nurse pressed down on the wound to halt the bleeding. But he did manage to get out his blood type. "Uh...ow...I think it's B..." The blood dripping out was now making little drip drops on the white cot, staining it red.

It was then that he noticed Falina was in the room. He returned her smile, and tried to hold it as much as he could between his involuntary grunts of pain. To lighten the mood, he decided he'd talk to her some. "You wanna know...what's the first thing I'm going to do...after all this is over?"

[Tails]

Tails lands his Tornado nearby the hospital and looks at his arm that did get shot by a laser. It isn't as bad as it used to be, but the wound was still burning.

He walks inside the hospital hut and asks. "Can someone help me, I need my arm bandaged."

A nurse applies an ointment to soothe the pain and bandages the wound. After I get bandaged, I see a cat who looks awfully familiar.

Tails waves and smiles at Giichi. "Hi."

[Giichi Twinkieland]

Giichi blinked when he heard that voice. Surely it couldn't be him...he was off fighting in the city. The cat rolled over to see if it really was Tails. And it was. Giichi couldn't believe it. His mouth visibly dropped open and he didn't know what he should say.

After a moment to compose himself, Giichi gave a smile. "Hey! Tails! How did you get here? Is the fighting over or something?"

[Tails]

Tails explains in excitement. "We almost lost until a building collapsed on Robotnik. So we won!" His voice began to crackle. "I was in pursuit of Robotnik, but so was Sonic. You know what the problem is, I liked it better before he jumped into the wood work. I like him very much, we've been buddies forever; but he's getting all the glory again and it gets on my nerves. Do you know what I should do?"

[Giichi Twinkieland]

Giichi wasn't sure what to make of Tails' question. Normally Giichi tried to stay out of the limelight. After all, he didn't want too many people outside of the Thieves' Guild wondering how he could afford things like that Ferrari...

"Um...well...you've got steep competition if you want to be more famous than Mr. Blue himself. I don't think you wanna compare yourself to that. And you and Sonic make a good team. If you start getting competitive like that, it could hurt your friendship. And you don't want that, do you?"

Giichi wanted to relate how he never really bothered getting worked up over trash talk from his fellow thieves, but thought it better not to mention he was one. After all, he had suspicions there were people in Soleanna looking for him.

[Tails]

Tails sighs from Giichi's question. "I know I shouldn't be Sonic's rival and it pangs me to try to be the kid with all the answers. However, when I first appeared in this dimension I was on my own in my workshop with no one to comfort me. I wanted to see Sonic badly and it hurt to know that he wouldn't be back. But then this cat showed up at my door step and I met up with a few other characters.

"My problem was that I was afraid to go beyond the Great Forest because I thought that it would lead into another dimensional rift. I wanted Sonic badly and in my heart I felt like I was missing something since Sonic wasn't there. I went on an adventure with my three new friends to go beyond the Great Forest and I discovered that I didn't get sucked into another dimensional rift. So, I felt pleased. I finally did something without Sonic's help and I was getting used to the prospect of not having Sonic around. Now that he's back however, I'm not sure whether or not I need him anymore. Its just how I feel.

"Because of the fact that I did something on my own for once, I don't wanna feel like I'm following anyone's shadow. Do you know what I should do once I confront Sonic and talk to him about this? I want an adult's knowledge, please Giichi?"
