[Espio]

Espio took a glance at Alpha; he wasn't taking no for an answer. He sighed and shrugged, closing his eyes. "All right, but time is of the essence. I'm going to need one of your rings, and for you to hold the one your standing on above you like so.", Espio said raising his right hand up. "We will be departing at full speed.", he said with a nod.

[Alpha Omega]

Omega watched the chameleon, reluctantly taking one of the two remaining rings from his fingers and putting in Espio's palm. He stepped down off the ring he was on, and raised it over his head like he said. "Hope you know what you're doing."

[Espio]

Espio grinned a bit as he took the ring in his right hand, holding it up. "Don't worry, I've done this before.", he said as he forms a handsign with his left hand, and used his right hand to hit his power ring once, twice, three times against Alpha's. On the third time, both rings shimmer, forming a static field of flickering energy between the two rings.

"Now...one of two things are going to happen.", Espio mentioned as he proceeded down to the doorway, the force between the rings actually starting to tug on Alpha, gently at first, but steadily increasing in pull the further away Espio was. The bond between the rings was similar to that of a rubber band. On top of that, Alpha would find that he -couldn't- let go of his ring. At least not without breaking the bond with his will. "Either the force of the ring will allow your speed to even out with mine for a short time, or you'll be sent flying behind me as I run. Don't worry, I'll catch you should I slow down. Only thing is...this technique is rather...chaotic in what its capable of.", he says as he exits the door back into the alley, about to take on a sprinter's stance. "Let's go and join up with the others; I'm sure they've made their way up there now given the situation."

[Alpha Omega]

Omega gave a short tug on the ring, enjoying the strength of the new bond. He then began to follow after Espio, keeping the stretch between the rings loose. "I've heard about this kind of connection... Mighty told me about it once. You guys used this on Carnival Island, right?"

He shook the hand with the ring in it, amused by the energy between them. He stretched his legs a bit, getting ready to run with the chameleon. "I've never tried to make this chain connection before. I've always wanted to, but based on how my powers work, I would imagine the connection wouldn't last long. It would probably drain the rings of power within a few minutes."

[Espio]

Espio took to his fours, about to take off when...

Espio nearly tripped over himself at the mention of Mighty. "What?! You know Mighty?!", he asks generally surprised, eyes wide open. It had been more than a good while since anyone else in the Chaotix ran into him. "When did yo- ....ahem.", he says clearing his throat, a little embarrassed about getting over excited. "I'll ask you later. For now, we move!", he said as a gust of wind blew from behind them, the ninja taking off, hedgehog in tow. He quickly turns the corner down the alleyway, making a beeline for the tower, likely leaving the drunk and already terrified human dumbstruck.

[Alpha Omega]

Omega held his ground for a moment, letting the tension between the rings build up. Once the pull was strong, but not so much it stopped Espio, he hopped a few inches into the air, letting the rings pull him up to speed, at which point he started running as well.
