Egg Ship 5

[Giichi Twinkieland]

"Sure...sure..." Giichi barely got out. He really seemed to be out of it now, between the blood loss and just barely surviving the fall. He stumbled after her towards the exit. As for finding a way out, the Soleanna Army had helped out with that. To their left, they'd see daylight pouring out of a big hole in the wall. Sounds of the battle raging outside carried in from it too.

"Falina...let's go that way..." Giichi looked like he was about to faint. Instead of a spirited run like before, he stumbled towards it instead. He blinked rapidly, as he tried to witihdraw his cloak from his sack, to wrap up the laser wound on his arm.

[Falina]

Falina immediately notices that Giichi is not himself, and she gives him a very concerned look as they begin heading out of the engine room. When she notices him stumbling, she reaches out to take his hand and help him along. "Giichi, you must have lost a lot of blood back there. I think I need to get you to the hospital as soon as possible... Hopefully Robotnik hasn't blown it up yet." She says as they leave the ship through the huge hole and onto the raging battlefield. Falina looks around to try and decide which way to go from here.

Giichi smiled a little at Falina as she voiced her concerns. "Don't worry...I am not going to die now...not after everything I've been through today..."

When they reached the hole, Giichi couldn't help but gaze in awe at the scene before them. The Soleanna Army was massacring the swatbots. He never would have expected this outcome with how peaceful Soleanna made itself out to be. But they had to get to safety...and fast.

"We gotta get out of here, because that fire will hit the fuel tanks any second." He watched as the bullets continued to fly out of the trees from the many concealed Soleanna troops. An idea occurred to him as he watched. "Maybe we can signal for help." Giichi pulled out one smoke bomb, and flung it to the left of their door. After it exploded, the smoke would definitely get the army's attention. "Start waving...we need to let them know we're here."

Giichi himself weakly began waving around his good arm. It hurt, but it would hurt a lot more if they got blown up.

[Falina]

Falina nods as Giichi's statement about not dying now after all he's been through today. She still looks a little worried about him though. Turning to the scene outside the ship, she was a bit awestruck by the ensuing battle outside as well, and figured it would probably be a bad idea to just jump down into the thick of it, particularly as injured as Giichi was.

"We gotta get out of here, because that fire will hit the fuel tanks any second."

She blinks, the worry in her eyes showing more clearly. "Eww, yeah, that would be bad..." She then starts waving her arms with him to try and attract the attention of the Soleanna military, but then gets an idea. She pulls out her sword and starts turning it in the sunlight to make flashes that would be easily visible and attract attention.

[Princess Elise]

A couple of Soleanna's ground troops spot the flashing of sunlight off Falina's sword and follow it to see her and Giichi waving for assistance. They begin fighting their way toward the hole in the ship, eventually reaching them and waving them down. "What were you guys doing in there?" One of the men calls out to them, looking shocked that the small sand cat and female deer went into one of those ships, and made it back out alive.

[Giichi Twinkieland]

"Long story...we'll explain later." Giichi said, still breathing hard. "Let's just go...the ship's about to explode." He slowly sat down at the hole's edge. Briefly releasing the hand from his wound, he used it to push himself off from the ledge and slid down the side of the ship, coming to a rough landing on the ground.

That caused Giichi to howl in pain as he landed. Regardless, the cat struggled to his feet as fast as he could, fully aware they had no time left. He stumbled towards the soldiers with an outstretched arm, obviously wanting one of them to help him across the battlefield.

[Princess Elise]

The troops blink at this news for just a moment, then the captain of the group calls out to the rest of them. "This place is going to blow! Let's move out!" The troops then begin to quickly escort Falina and Giichi away from the ship, one of the troops offering Giichi a hand as he notices that the cat is in pretty bad shape.

[Falina]

Falina nods to Giichi and the troops and follows them as they lead both of them away from the ship. She was glad they had managed to destroy one of Robotnik's ships, and that they were both getting away safely, assuming the ship didn't explode this second. She does still worry about Giichi though, and thinks he needs medical attention. She looks back at him for a moment as they walk away. "You alright back there Giichi?"

[Giichi Twinkieland]

"I'll survive...but let's worry more about getting out of--"

BOOM!

The entire back end of Egg Ship 5 went up in a gigantic fireball, totally destroying the engines and killing just about all the SWATbots on that side of the ship. Giichi found himself knocked straight to the ground from the shockwave. After recovering, he slowly rolled over so he could see his and Falina's handiwork.

Giichi actually managed a small smile.

"Not bad...not bad..." he weakly stammered out. Grunting, he pushed himself off the ground and continued to head towards the trees, just limping along. Now that half the SWATbots had been taken out in one go, the battlefield was considerably more quiet, apart from the popping of flames.

"Sir?" he said to the soldier escorting him. "Do you have...a medic close by? I lost so much blood back there..." The cat looked like he was about ready to faint.

[Maybe another topic's in order...like a field hospital or something.]
