Battle of ground on Soleanna

(Three day absence rule)

Rose watched the scenes unfold carefully, making sure not to miss any details. The police, after couple of shots for fire, fled for their lives. It was expectable though, considering that the police were only for enforcing the law; not trying to fight a war. Whoever had the bright idea of putting –them- on the defensive was stupid. Their presence was completely useless as their beginning fire didn’t take out a lot of the forces. Now, as they were retreating, Shadow was going through like a hot knife through warm butter. She took careful note to record him; though she may have been at a distance it was better than nothing. He would be a hard target to take down later. But for now, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” was the key line to remember today. She would be able to kill him later, once this imposter was out of her sight and mind.

Her weapons already in place, Rose began to dart forward. Though the front was somewhat clear, though she had rather not take any chances with laser fire. Shadow could deal with them at the front; she’ll deal with them from a different angle. Keeping her usual distance, Rose managed to run to the side, eyeing a few of the trees that which bordered the vessel.

“How stupid of them to land next to a disaster.” Rose muttered to herself, “I should show them the error of their ways.”

Electricity began to surge through her blades as she gripped the handles. As she passed a few trees by, she cut them down as the blades passed through the material easily; ripping the bases of the trees badly. The two first trees where relatively small in size as far as the trunks go; but they were still quite tall. Where they would fall, she did not know. But it was at least in the vicinity of the vessel. She stopped her run as she got to a very large tree, taking to swipes before it would cut through, and kicked it hard to go forward. The line of its fall looked more diffident, it would fall straight into a line of SWATbots. And whatever damage gravity alone would make, Rose's hard kick would at a lot more force to it.

Finally escaping the grasp of the metal robots, he had only looked onward to the sky, seeing the thousands of jet propelled chromed bodies, of which his only look was one of disgust, looking to his shoulder with a small burnt mark, he had began to slowly wrap it in a gauze that he had kept in order to stop the bleeding of which was found. He hadn't said a word as he made sure to keep his security.

'Lets think about this... The fact is nothing is going good here, the sheer numbers of these bastards is making me sick... such mass production however... where the hell did he get as much material... doesn't matter... those weapons, the lights of pain... they hurt and are deafeningly fast, as if made to overcome my speed....' His foot began to arise himself, starting to look into the open landscape where the robots would walk forward, the on pursuit of destroying this place called Soleanna. 'Either way... I need to focus on regaining some ground, I didn't come here to be overtaken by some stupid lights...'

A leap came from this wolf, landing in the patches of grass as he had begun to run incredibly swiftly behind objects and obstacles at great speeds, his eyes shifting left and right leaping through a tree as he stopped and shifted his eyesight. 'A fox... a woman?' He stayed within the tree however, not moving after the leaves would shake, seemingly quiet from the excess of movements going on around him.'Is she an ally or someone I'll have to... "incapacitate"...' His hand went to his weapon and he watched quietly, his senses quietly listening to the situation, as he was ready to strike or relax, either way, he was ready.

"..." Watching what would take place below made Rock get ready to pass her by, his eyes forward as he leaped out of the tree, seeing as the damage had been done, there was no reason to hide, he would then make the decision to do so, to talk to this woman, and if need be, "incapacitate her". "Who are you..." Was his only saying, until a response would be made, he stood with his hands to his sides.

[Princess Elise]

The Soleanna ground troops that were nearby the landing site are ordered to move toward the site, and they soon take the place of the fleeing Police force, only with greater numbers and more powerful weapons. They focus their fire on the advancing bots, while the Navy ships fire at the weapons and engines on the landed troop carriers. The troops and ships stationed elsewhere throughout the city hold their position and await further orders from their general.

[Dr. Robotnik]

As Robotnik dashed to the hangar on the Egg Carrier, his personal communicator squawked. "Dr. Robotnik...we have a hedgehog attacking the LZ!"

That got the doctor's attention. He spoke back as he continued running for his destination. "A hedgehog...is it Sonic?"

"Probability: slim. Hedgehog is black, covered in medieval armor, and wielding a large sword. In any case, hedgehog is causing a lot of damage. Suggest we focus fire on him."

The doctor's eyes narrowed. "Do it. And while you're at it...get Egg Ships 2 and 4 ready to deploy their forces too." At long last though, he had reached the hangar. The doctor paused for a moment to admire his latest creation. This thing, he was sure, could single-handedly turn the battle back in his favor. Just the look of it, he hoped, would frighten the enemy into fleeing. Robotnik himself looked like a bug compared to its size. In any case, he quickly took an elevator to the cockpit to climb on board.

While Shadow had taken out a fair number of swatbots, he'd notice now a group was starting to surround him. These swatbots had shields that could block his sword. They pressed in as a group, forming a wall and only exposing one hand to fire laser pistols at him. In the meantime, a laser cannon on Egg Ship 1 started tracking Shadow specifically, and it was a gun designed to keep up with high speed targets like aircraft. It began raining down fire relentlessly on the armored hedgehog.

In the meantime, Rose's tree fell cleanly between a gap in the wall of tanks and smashed on top of about seven swatbots. The remaining swatbots began opening fire in the direction of where the tree had fallen from. But they couldn't get a clear look at Rose or Rock, since they were hidden in the brush. Still, they might get lucky.

By this time, Soleanna's military had arrived and was also opening fire on Robotnik's ships. Again, Egg Ship 1 (still hovering above) provided covering fire, raining shells, missiles, and laser fire down on the Navy's ships. Soleanna seemed to be focusing on the landed Egg Ship 5, so Egg Ship 1 itself wasn't taking much fire.

But down on the ground, it was a different story. Egg Ship 5 was sustaining heavy fire from all directions. While it had very heavy armor, it could only take the punishment for so long. In any case, all cannons bristling across the vessel were now returning fire...with the heavier weapons focusing on the Navy ships while the smaller cannons focused on enemy personnel. But several shots had already disabled a good number of the ship's weapons.

And the assault had the swatbots on the ground pinned down behind their tank corrals at the ship's exits. The tank cannons returned fire back to the enemy troops, but they had heavier weapons than the cops. A few tanks exploded on the spot, scattering more bots in their wake. Still, since the bots were machines and not people, they continued firing back from behind their cover without fear.

Egg Ship 5's crew seemed to realize it couldn't stay here. The exit ramps started to close back up again, while the engines glowed hotter. But with all the heavy fire, a takeoff would be difficult. A few engines had already been disabled.

( THREE DAY ABSENCE)

Rose only had enough time to turn before the shots rained down on both of them. Even though it was scattered and not fully focused on them, one shoot managed to graze her right shoulder; as well as a few shots grazing her jacket. Reacting quick after being hit, she took cover behind a nearby tree and crouched down as she grabbed her shoulder in pain; turning off the reactor on her back. She then replied to the wolf, obviously aggravated.

“Doesn’t really –matter- who I am as long as I’m not trying to KILL you.” she seethed through her teeth, awaiting the recent firing to stop.

[Rock]

"Good point, you wouldn't have a prayer if you did..." He said in a shallow voice, seeing as how more and more enemies would come, he made a decision. The situation would only increase and become more violent so he would follow the male or female, whatever this person was, he would only sigh, scratch the back of his head and lift his sword over his shoulder, he tapped his shoulder slowly and sighed walking forward, turning his head. "hm... we should temporarily team-up, if you are on neither side like me, that's the best possible way..."

His eyes shifted, his motions not changing, unbeknown to the individual that if the slightest misstep or motion were made with this stance, he would end this little chat with a powerful slash. 'I don't trust this person either way, however I may be able to find out the cause of this situation and what would happen next, it's also good to have someone that you can use if you need something to happen for yourself...' He said, although he was aligned good, he was not a stupid individual, knowing to use someone else for the purpose of helping himself was something he was known for, and either case he wouldn't join or help evil unless he was tricked which was unlikely.

"If you wish for this, come, if you don't however, I shall take my leave."

(spot saved, rewriting post. Sorry :/ I'm used to fighting people, not npcs, and it's obviously rather difficult for me to gauge how strong/fast/whatever they are. I need to work on that :/)

((Blitz, if you do another post like that, I'm going to force hit you in the next round. You'll get an injury that'll put you out of commission for the rest of the battle. This is your second warning about godding, and I'm not gonna put up with this crap any more. Shadow may be a badass, but he is not badass enough to hurl himself into a swarm of enemies, kill tons of them, and emerge completely unharmed...ESPECIALLY with a cannon tracking him that's designed to shoot down aircraft that can travel much, much faster than Shadow is right now.))

But if you tone down your last post, I will be a little more forgiving. I know you're a better roleplayer than this Blitz. Don't ruin your reputation here over this.))
