RE: The Battle of Soleanna
Qesun looked up at the giant barrel of the gun being pointed in his general direction with very deadly intent if he didn't do as its wielder said. ...And yet all he could think about was how he was going to die by a Lascannon strait out of WH40K. He looked about at the robots as they stopped in their tracks at their master's orders and wondered if Robotnik would be really so stupid as to do as Sonic was asking of him. But it didn't matter. He heard the thunder crack-a-boom of the AA fire hitting the building and looked up as it began to topple.
It was amazing to Qesun, just how quickly a situation could fall apart. And go from what you thought was the worst possible, to something even worse. As if being surrounded and held prisoner at Lascannon point was bad enough, now an entire building was headed their way. He was a lot less worried about the laser gun suddenly. His feet begin to carry him before he could properly collate his thoughts on the situation. He began to run in the opposite direction the building was coming. Laser gun be damned, he'd have been dead either way. He spared no energy in getting his ass moving. But something couldn't escape him. That... Fox kid was just standing there. For some reason there was some sort of burning focus for him and Dulcy as he ran. He couldn't simply ignore the people not moving. Watching Robotnik's machine, as if waiting for something to happen to it, likely the building. In another world, it probably would have been Sonic who would try. He didn't care. He didn't really even much think. It just looked like someone who was about to be in deep ****. Someone he could get out of it. He tossed his one gun as far ahead of him as possible to empty his hands and went strait for Tails in an attempt to scoop him up. He wasn't thinking, just reacting. It would have been the perfect time for a one liner if he could do anything more then move his ass as fast as possible over rough terrain while carrying something. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
"Do you just want to win this the cowardly way, like the BIG, FAT, COWARD you are; instead of winning this the way that will put you in legends!!”
Robotnik belt out a big whooping laugh at that. His pistol did not waver from its target. "You fool. History's written by the victor. I don't NEED to have a legendary battle for it to be recorded that way. After you're all dealt with, I'll just come up with my own version of this fight. I'll make it a glorious, honorable triumph over you, and since I'll the new ruler THAT will be the official truth! Anyone who disagrees will be--" “DOCTOR ROBOTNIK!!! SOMEONE’S COMING UP YOUR ARM!!!” "OH NOW WHAT?!" Suddenly Decoe got pushed aside from the eye cameras to reveal...a man with blades for arms. And he looked positively furious, with those red irises. Robotnik actually jumped back in his seat a bit, openly gasping at the sight. Was THIS what kept trying to climb up his robot? An explosion overhead cut him off before he could do anything else. The gigantic Mecha Robo head suddenly peered upwards, away from Rose. If the robot was alive, its eyes would be bulging wide open now, but all it could do was watch. Huge chunks of concrete falling out of the sky...right towards him. Robotnik quickly worked the controls to run, but a piece slammed right into Mecha Robo's back, knocking it flat onto the ground. Inside the cockpit, the doctor slammed his head on the controls in front of him, smashing one of the lenses of his glasses and giving him a nice bloody cut on his forehead. Now he was hanging from his seat above what would now be the floor...the control panel. He scrambled to get the robot back on its feet, but the chunks of concrete rapidly piled up on him, making it difficult to move. As the dust cleared, the heroes wouldn't even be able to see Mecha Robo. A huge pile of rubble covered the last place it was standing. --- The SWATbots too had tried to flee, and many of them got crushed under the collapsing rubble. Those that could still move could be heard trying to dig their way out. For the moment, the heroes wouldn't have any opposition from Robotnik or the SWATbots, but that might change fast. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
(Sorry for taking so long! There are too many people to worry about in this topic!!! Dx )
With the sudden eruption of chaos happening, Sonic’s head was getting a little dizzy. It was too much! Too much was happening for him to handle every little problem. Well, at least he didn’t have to worry about Robotnik anymore, but that fact was not much better than the amount shattering of the torn building. First thing was first he supposed as he quickly ran over to Dulcy; trying his best to get her over his shoulders. “You mind helping me here? I need to get you out of here before things get crazier than they are!! After all, I ain’t no Knuckles or anything!” |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
(College is so horrible to meeee~ DX I shall also say to excuse the bad writing; right now, I’m just trying to get this done and post it.)
As he was hanging from the arm, looking dully into the view, he noticed something strange. He saw an aircraft suddenly duck behind a building. Was that one of Dr. Eggaman’s ships? He couldn’t tell. In fact, when he thought about it, the design of everything the Doctor had her was a lot different from what he knew. It just didn’t look like the typical Eggman design. But his thoughts were soon cut off as he saw the craft pop up quickly, and blasted a shot, straight at a building. Of course, by then, Decoe no longer paid attention to the craft and more at the incoming debris. “Well, I guess it’s time to abandon ship!” Ignoring the fact that his voice now sounded weird, he unwrapped the yo-yo off the arm and began to fall downwards. Though thankfully for him, he could land soft from the half-way height he was already at. Turning his gears on, he managed to land softly….before simply tripping over himself as soon as he managed to get his feet safely on the ground. Getting up quickly he began to jolt out of the vicinity. --- Bocoe was quick to get the message too. As soon as he saw the incoming rumble, he began to get out of the area as quick as he possible could; which in his case, far enough to not get hit. Unfortunately though, he ended up leaving his weapon behind since it was dead weight to him. Looking back to see the mech robo completely covered, he immediately began trying to establish a connection. “Well, at least that guy didn’t survive.” Bocoe looked over to see Decoe walking over to him. Seeing the cut, he commented. “Looks like you got hit pretty bad.” “Ehhh. What about Eggman-sama?” Decoe looked towards the side as he replied, changing the subject. “I’m trying to get in contact now.” Unfortunately, the signal was hard for him to grab. The concrete was most likely to be the culprit in this, but he still had to try and reach a connection. It wasn’t be long before Bokkun appeared, flying over towards them. He looked as though he was worn out by all commotion. But seeing Decoe showed that he wasn’t traumatically scared from it. “You know, you really bad at defending.” He said with a smirk on his face. “Shut up.” Decoe replied back with a dull expression. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
The explosion didn’t seem to faze her, but then again, it didn’t seem like she knew what was going on in the first place. All she knew, was she wanted to get inside the robot, which is exactly what she did. Before the Mecha Robo would get hit, she had already started on carving the metal of the side of the head; trying to make an opening to get inside. Once she managed to get an opening, the bombardment began as the mech began to fall to the ground. Finally seeing the danger before her, she quickly got inside what appeared to be the hollowed-out head of the mech; though was quickly thrown to the side at the downward fall. She felt an extra throb in her head; as she slammed into some of the components inside. Once the mech had stopped, and was completely covered in rubble, Rose started to stand up.
She could no longer tell where the opening she made was since she saw no light; the only light being that of the components inside the head. She put her right hand up to the side of her head, where the majority of throbbing was coming from. Touching it, she winced at the pain of it, and then looked at her hand. The gloves showed a little bit of red; which meant she was bleeding, but not that much. It was probably a small scrap. Once she felt she had some of her bearings, she looked around. (Note: Hey Nail, a nice description of what it looks like inside the head and where an opening might be would be nice. ) |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
Rampage grinned from ear to ear after seeing the chaos and destruction caused by the falling debris. Ironically enough, he wasn't even the one who caused it. The Solenna military was a little too over zealous in their attempts to clear the skies of Robotnik's ships. He just made himself a seemingly easy target, the Solenna military did the rest.
But now it was his turn to have some fun. As Rampage swept over the battlefield, he couldn't quite make out all of the Freedom Fighters through the dust cloud that was already starting to settle. So much for a little fun strafing them. On the other hand, not much of a challenge in that; he'd rather fight these Freedom Fighters face to face. So, Rampage set his ship down beside the rubble pile where Robotnik's Mech had been buried. He could have easily landed on the opposite side of the street and cut the Freedom Fighters off, but if he did, they might conclude the fight was too risky to continue and run off. Now who wants that? Certainly not him. With the exit hatch visible to any Freedom Fighters who had watched him land, they'd see a glowing orange light appear inside the dark cabin within. As Rampage emerged into the light the glowing light became his cybernetic eye, set within a metallic face that covered half his face and jaw. Light glinted off his metallic face, arm and chest. For anyone who'd never seen a cyborg before, Rampage would truly be a horrific sight to behold. A grotesque mixture of flesh and machine that lacked any sort of aesthetic charm that other bionics like Bunnie Rabbot possessed. This cyborg badger looked all mean and totally ruthless. "Come on out, Freedom Fighters, it's time to play!!" Rampage shouted out. His voice carrying over the uneasy stillness in the street. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
Dulcy quickly takes a look of shock on her face as a strange aircraft comes flying in and shoots at one of the taller buildings around, causing it's rubble to rain down upon the area and encase Robotnik and his giant mecha in a pile of broken concrete. She has mixed feelings about all this, as she's glad that Robotnik is out of the fight for now, but wonders who the pilot of that ship was, as she didn't recognize it as being of Robotnik's fleet, or the Soleanna military either.
She really wanted to assume that if they had attacked Robotnik, they must be on their side, but what if they weren't? As Sonic came to try and help her up, it was likely a good thing that Dulcy was already recovered enough to stand and walk on her own, being a little too heavy for the blue hedgehog to hope to move very much. His statement of wanting to get her out of her has her confused though. "What? You want me out of here? I came here to help, and that's what I plan on doing. So what if I can't fly, I can still fight!" Seems it's not long before Dulcy's questions about who's side the pilot of the ship from before was on were answered, as it came back around and landed nearby. She watches the cyborg badger exit the ship and begin walking toward them, before calling out to them. She blinks in shock at what he says, and stands firm next to Sonic, ready to fight. She glances down at Sonic firmly. "Sonic, I'm not leaving till this is over." |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
It was hard to miss the unidentified ship fly over head, even with my head spinning from that knock to the head. From where I was, I had to get to my feet and move through the debris field in order to watch the ship land. But what came out was like something out of a freakish nightmare. I got a terribly ominous lump in my throat as he called out to us. Who ever this was, he was looking for a fight in a big way. I flexed my fingers holding my crossbow in anticipation. Somehow this I had a sinking feeling this wasn't going to end well.
"Yeah? And just who, or what are you supposed to be?" I shouted back while I kept a firm grip on my weapon, just in case. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
Tails feels utter surprise as Qeson lifts him off his feet. It is something that he didn't expect to come. However, its also something that just blows his mind.
Tails doesn't know why Qeson lifts him off his feet and takes him away from something as quickly as possible. All he can bring himself to do without knowing what he did have a savior in the mist. Tails looks as at the person that did save him from something. (I know its a laser, but Tails doesn't). He smiles. "Thanks for saving me." He feels confusion. "What did you save me from?" |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
"Take your pick," Qesun said in response as he started to slow down breathing heavy. He'd been making a lot of dashes today. It was starting to weigh on his reserves. "The giant laser... death cannon... Or the collapsing building," Qesun said taking his breaths in between statements. "Are you going... to be Ok from here on? Sounds like Robotnik... got reinforcements... The others might need help."
Qesun sets Tails down and looks around, seeing if he could spot where he threw his gun. However, he only wastes a moment on this proposal before pulling the other one out. As much as he'd like both, it wouldn't matter if no one made it. However, he won't let himself run off just yet without getting a response from Tails. He waits as patiently as manageable given the situation. Despite the fact he knew the kid flew down in what was best referred to as a knock of of a Veritech fighter and had been fighting in the air a minute ago, he can't help but think 'Kid' about Tails because he looked it. Deep down somewhere in Qesun's mind, there was a sick feeling about how a kid shouldn't have to fight for his own freedom. Hell, no one should have to do that, but so much for that right? |
