RE: The Battle of Soleanna
As glad as Qesun was to find the one he shot dead, he found it highly disconcerting that many more were about to take its place. Especially since he knew both his magazines would not hold out against the numbers coming in. While keeping out of sight, trying to figure out someway to make some headway, the debris and dust cloud from the falling building rushed through, obscuring everything. Which gave Qesun an opportunity to try a different tactic. 'I don't want to waste my ammunition, right? Well, here's that chance. Lets see if some hack and slash works.' He came out from the other side of his cover and began moving back up the street, along the right side, towards where the bots were, listening carefully for their movement. He moved with a low, quick walk, trying his best to minimize his own noise.

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
Dulcy watches as Robotnik destroys the building and pulls up as the dust cloud envelops the battlefield. "Hmm, I don't think he liked me breathing fire into his exhaust vents. I think we may have found his machine's weakness! Let's see if we can exploit it some!"She exclaims as she glances back at Chadin.
She then notices that Sonic is clearing the dust cloud, and smiles. "Way to go Sonic!" She calls out, then turns back to Chadin for a moment. "Alright, let's make this count!" She says in a hopeful tone as she starts to move in again as the dust clears, looking for that exhaust vent. Once she spots it, she goes into a dive and takes another deep breath, belting out another stream of fire breath toward the vent once she's within range. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
I watched in awe as the massive structure came crashing down in a spectacular display of rubble dust and debris. Unfortunately as I watched, my hand inadvertently loosed its grip on Dulcy's harness and as the massive wall of dust exploded outwards the force of the rushing wind threw clean off. I never heard Dulcy's discovery of Robotnik's weak point.
Instead, I hit the ground: hard. My right shoulder took the brunt of the impact, but with my inertia, I tumbled across the ground, scraping my knees and elbows to bloody messes. Bad enough that I gave my knees and elbows a good case of road rash, the dust that got into my wounds made them burn with such searing pain that it was almost too much to will my limbs to move. On top of that the thick dust cloud made it almost impossible to breath. (cough) "Dulcy!!!" (cough) "Where are you?" (cough, cough) Despite the tremendous pain I force myself to rise to my feet. I cover my nose and mouth with my left arm in a meek effort to block out the dust. But the dust is every where. Out of the gloom a vague shape appears. I can barely make out in this dust. My eyes sting from the incessant dust that flutters into them. The shape seems familiar but with so many other environmental distractions to contend with my brain is wracked to capacity to remember why. And then the figure turns towards me. Even in the thick cloud of dust, its cold, red slit of an eye shone through. In an instant my ears shoot straight up in fright as I realize I'm standing face to face with a Swatbot. My body reacts on instinct and adrenaline. My crossbow is up and fires of a shot at the single red slit of light before my conscious command even forms in my mind. Suddenly a new fear washed over me with a new realization. I am alone, blind and dumb in an impenetrable haze filled with enemies. I suddenly felt incredibly alone and vulnerable. I didn't know which way I should turn. I knew that Swatbots were descending upon the city like rain. I could be completely surrounded by a dozen of the wretched things and couldn't even seem them standing two feet away. I felt a rushing wind. Sonic was using his speed to create a tornado to blow the dust cloud away. But I didn't know that at the moment. I was still too far away from Sonic to benefit from his efforts. For the moment I could only hope I either find someplace safe to hunker down and wait for the dust to settle on its own or pray I find a friendly face in this maelstrom. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
Tails feels extra weight on his Tornado and he doesn't know what it is. There is a swat bot on the front of the airplane. The robot fires a few shots straight at Tails. Tails dodges the lasers without any fear or hesitation. He navigates toward Robotnik and keeps a firm grip on the steering wheel. The airplane won't be able to take much more of this. The weight is too much. As soon as Tails gets close enough to Robotnik, he flips the airplane over in a barrel roll and the swat bot comes crashing down in the vicinity where Robotnik is. The robot lets off one last shot before its departure on the way down, since Tails didn't dodge any laser to get the plane upside down. A laser shot him in the shoulder. Tails, once the airplane is upright, screams in pain. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
As Dulcy flew in for her attack, Robo sighted her with the laser pistol. "THERE YOU ARE!" He fired off one shot straight at her. However, this left him open to her blasting another wave of heat into the exhaust vent. Once more, the engine briefly shot into dangerous heat levels, but now it was starting to do lasting damage. The robot's response felt slightly more sluggish now.
"Foreign objects on hull! Foreign objects on hull!" Robo's computer squawked at him. "Where?!" "One climbing up the chest, another on your shoulder." The swatbot falling off of Tails' plane landed right next to the cackling Bokkun on Mecha Robo's shoulder, and would no doubt scare the wits out of the little guy. "AAAAAGH! How am I supposed to fight with all these distractions?!" Wait...what about those people that want to help you? "Hey...you guys who called me Eggman-Sama...how about you get whoever's climbing up my mecha off of it?" --- Chadin's shot hits the SWATbot in the neck. For a flesh being, this would be fatal, but not for the bot. Instead, its head hanged off of its neck by the wires connecting the two together. The SWATbot used one hand to hold its head in place. Once that was done, it used its other hand to try to grab the deer round his neck. --- Qesun certainly would not be lacking for SWATbots to hunt, now that he was going after them. He'd hear several clunking footsteps very close by. The SWATbots repeatedly paused to scan and look for targets, keeping their stun guns at the ready. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
By now, thanks to Sonic’s own brand of whirlwind, most of the smoke had cleared. Seeing this he quickly stopped to let out a deep breath of air as well as get his head straight. This was the second time he’d had to do that, so he was bit dizzy. Closing his eyes for a second, he sighed; scratching behind his right ear. Okay, that was enough resting; it was time to get to work! As soon as he cracked his eyes open, he saw the SWATbots surrounding and outnumbering what looked to be…a deer. Smirking, he started to run towards a SWATbot that was straight behind him, and quickly did a Sonic Spindash straight towards him. The hit probably would send a SWATbot off flying, and to Sonic’s hope, hit another SWATbot in the process. Getting out of the Sonic Spindash position, he quickly ran right in front of the deer, with a usual smug look as he held out a hand towards.
“Hey there, bud. Need some help?” he exclaimed, quietly smugly as he didn’t drift his attention completely away from the fact that more SWATbots where still around. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
Thanks to the friendly, neighborhood hedgehog Decoe and Bocoe both could see the Mech clearly once more; which made Decoe frown in worriment.
“Well THAT was short lived.” He exclaimed to himself as he looked up to at the Mech. As he did, he blinked in curiosity, squinting a bit to make sure he wasn’t seeing things. Was it just him, or did it look like- "Hey...you guys who called me Eggman-Sama...how about you get whoever's climbing up my mecha off of it?" Well, that had certainly answered his question. His eyes facing on the object on the hull, he messaged back to Eggman. “Yes, Doctor Eggman! We’ll be right on it!” As soon as it finished he began to bullet off until he got within the area. Bocoe on the other hand, was lagging behind. He wouldn’t get to the area for a while, which made him irritated. He needed to remind the Doctor to give him something to keep up with Decoe. He was simply too fast, and he was simply too slow. Grumbling under his breath he pressed on. Decoe on the other hand, had already gotten to the area and had stopped to look up. The person-or thing- was climbing up the hull quiet fast, and was already out of range for his yo-yo’s to reach. Grumbling over his own discontent, he reached for the yo-yo’s on his belt and started to look up for anything within range. And as he found his only option was to hook the yo-yo’s onto the lowest part of the arm and go from there. At least it was a start. With the three yo-yo’s held tight in his hand, he threw them at the lowest part of the arm; as soon as it was secure, he began to grapple up quickly. -- Bokkun had indeed had the wits scared out of him. He was just sitting there, minding his own business before he heard something up above and saw an incoming falling SWATbot. Panicking immediately, he jumped and then flew out of the way; the little robot now in the Mech’s sight, which would mean Dr. Eggman would see him too. After calming down, he looked up into the air to see that it was Tails’s doing. His expression became angry as he shouted out at him, in vain. “HEY!!! WATCH WHAT YOUR DOING!!!” , he yelled as he gripped his hands into fists, “ HOW DARE YOU DENT DR. EGGMAN-SAMA’S ROBOT!!! DON’T YOU REALIZE HOW LONG IT TAKES TO MAKE ONE!?!” |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
Rose didn’t pay much attention to what was going around, since her main concern was getting on top of the mech. Though when a SWAT bot was dropping down her way, she quickly took her left blade out and swung to the side, the robot barely missing her. She hung there a few seconds in what looked to be an un-comfortable position for her arm to be in as she sneered; watching the bot tumble down. Though her attention was quickly grabbed when she saw, in the corner of her eye, someone grappling onto the arm. Hissing, she swung herself back to the position she once was; beginning her climb up. She decided to ignore it, her target was the imposter now.

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
Dulcy was so focused on Robo's Mecha, particularly as he started shooting at her, that she didn't even notice that Chadin had fallen off her back at first. She quickly banked to the side as Robotnik took aim and narrowly avoided his laser shot as she went in to fry his engines. Once she had gotten her attack off though, it finally hit her and she looked back to see that her back was now devoid of passengers.
"Chadin? Chadin!" She cries out and quickly starts searching the ground below her for any sign of the deer. She does soon spot him down there, and sees that he seems to be alright now that Sonic is helping take care of the SWAT bots. However, in her distraction of looking for Chadin, Dulcy misses a pair of parachuting SWAT bots that come in behind her. They both take aim and fire a stun shot at her back. Dulcy winces in pain for a moment, and suddenly her wings go numb and she starts to fall like a stone. She tries desperately to make her muscles work and at least slow her decent, but it's useless, and she comes crashing to the ground a few dozen yards from Chadin and Sonic, tumbling end over end a few times, then fainting from the effects of the stun combined with the impact of her hard landing. |

RE: The Battle of Soleanna
I certainly wasn't expecting the Swatbot to remain active after I shot it. Of course it was pretty obvious after it pressed its head back into place that I'd only done a glancing blow. I only realized that of course AFTER the thing grabbed me by the neck and hoisted me up into the air.
My hands instantly reached up to grab the Swatbot's arm out of reflex; dropping my crossbow in the process. Not like it would do much good however as my weak hands couldn't even compare with the unyielding strength of the Swatbots robotic grip. I was gasping desperately for air when all of a sudden a vaguely familiar voice called out to me. My ears instinctively shot up in surprise and confusion as I glanced over to the source of the voice. Lo and behold, it was none other than Sonic the hedgehog standing next to me. If I hadn't been clenching my jaw and neck trying to resist the Swatbots strangle hold my mouth would have dropped to the floor. “Hey there, bud. Need some help?” He said to me. "Sure..." Was about the only thing I could manage to wheeze out of my mouth. I was starting to feel light headed now. If Sonic didn't do something and quick I was going to black-out, maybe even die. I guess what startled me most though about the whole thing was just how darn casual Sonic was. Here I am being strangled to death and he's saying hi like there's nothing in wrong with anything. |
