Duel: Dulcy vs Relic

RE: Duel: Dulcy vs Relic
Dulcy continues to watch Relic closely as he explains who he is, albeit vaguely. She immediately decides that she doesn't like him any more than the she-wolf that he took the place of. When he moves closer so suddenly, she takes a step back.

She is still caught by surprise at just how fast and easily he moves when he jumps into the air, and the kick catches her off guard, landing solidly on her upper chest. She utters a pained grunt and staggers back a few steps, taking a moment to recover. At this point, if given the chance, she takes in a deep breath and breaths out a tight stream of icy breath through her nose, aimed directly at Relic.

RE: Duel: Dulcy vs Relic
Drake made sure his shield was kept as far from his body as he could hold it out. Landing on front side with a solid thud. The stream of ice him just as he was sarting to get up on all fours. The majority of it though seemed to concentrate around his right side. The blast also seemed to expand a little, maybe even surprising Dulcy at the above normal amount she breathed.

The dread knigth slammed the ground with his left gauntlet, cracking the ice keeping him pinned to the ground. He stood with his right side frozen, his shield was nothing but a giant ball of ice, roughly half size. He couldn't bend his right leg do to the ice either. With his left gauntlet he slammed his own body as he began to try and chip the ice from himself.

RE: Duel: Dulcy vs Relic
She looked down to see how well her breath attack had worked, finding that Relic was now fairly occupied with chipping the ice away that was keeping him rooted to the ground. She decides to not waste any time, and takes the opportunity to take to the air. She gets a good running start and flapped her wings hard, before long lifting off the ground and climbing slowly up into the sky. If Relic wanted to get her now, he'd have to fight her in the air.

RE: Duel: Dulcy vs Relic
DRake managed to chip most of the ice from his joints, giving him back his range of movement. Though he still kept the giant ball of ice attached to his right arm. crouching down once more, he began storing energy for a massive jump. Springing forth, he launched himself in a large arc, as he passed the dragon he took a huge swing with the block of ice.

His flailing body landed with a loud solid thump, he bounced off the ground before coming to a complete stop. His heavy body left a small impact creator from landing, sending a wave of dirt and grass into the air.

RE: Duel: Dulcy vs Relic
She does see him coming, but it's a bit too late. While she tries to avoid his attack, she's not able to really do much in time. As he soars over her, she lets out a scream of pain as his ice block hammer arm strikes her back and one of her wings. Her wing now damaged by the attack, possibly broken, it hurts too much for her to flap it anymore, so she goes down to land. However, landing proves to be rather difficult with an injured wing as well, and she ends up crashing rather roughly belly first into the ground. "I'll clean my room later ma..." She says in a disoriented voice, remaining dazed for a few moments before she recovered and ultimately stood up, looking back at Relic. Seemed like they would both be forced to fight on land now.

RE: Duel: Dulcy vs Relic
The ice globe, having been softened by impacts, cracked in two. His hand free he open and closed it a few times. Seeing no signs of frost bite, he once again took his battle ready stance. With Dulcy farther away he would have to spend a little more on movement. He took one of his large steps forward, placing his hands on the ground and moving himself even farther forward. The erratic movement wouldn't make him a hard target to hit due to his size, but it would make it difficult to get critically precise hit on the fox.

RE: Duel: Dulcy vs Relic
She noticed as Relic started to move toward her in an odd hand and foot gait. She blinked a bit as she watched him for a moment finding it a very strange way to get around, but she soon charged forward, turning to the side when she got in range and taking a swipe at his midsection with her thick, heavy tail.

RE: Duel: Dulcy vs Relic
Relic watched the tail swing towards him, He leaned his midsection back as far as it could go. Forcing the tail to travel inwards as much as possible. Taking the hit, the side of his armor buckled, some of the force transferring over, though it wouldn't bother the dread knight in the least. His talons firmly dug into the ground made sure he was as solid as a building.
Relic reached out with his arms attempting to grab the tail, He aimed for the wider part of the tail, basicaly attempting a bear hug on it. He was planning on going to a hammer swing.

RE: Duel: Dulcy vs Relic
Her eyes grow wide as she feels him grasp her tail, and she quickly twists away as she tries to pull her tail free of his grasp, while aiming a kick back at him with one leg while she looks back to aim it as best she can. She feels rather vulnerable in this position, and hates to think of what he'll do if he keeps his grip on her tail.

RE: Duel: Dulcy vs Relic
Relic pushed head forward, meeting the sole of her foot with his forehead. He began to swing the dragon around after taking a second smashing kick to the face. Denting the top of his helm, though He still refused to let go of the tail. Quickly picking up speed he did almost 2 dozen rotation before throwing the dragon straight up almost 20 feet into the air. Taking only a split second to recover himself, He jumped up after Dulcy aiming for a combination grab.
His plan was simple, land with the dragon on his shoulders and force her to take the combined impact force of her and him landing.
