[Princess Elise]

Once Tails leaves, Elise straightens her dress and smooths out any stray wrinkles, then switches on a camera that is mounted to have a good view of the throne. She looks directly into the camera and begins to speak. "People of Soleanna. I feel that you should all be aware, that a army lead by a man now known to me as Robotnik, is on it's way to attack. His troops are likely similar to the onces that came in the small attack weeks earlier that was, until now, unexplained. I wish to assure you all, that our military is being organized to defend the attack, and I hope that casualties and damage to the city will be kept to a minimum. To this end, I ask that everyone return to their homes immediately, and stay off the streets and waterways. Please be calm, and pray to Solaris, that he may protect us all from harm." She then sent the video to the local TV stations so that it could be played on every channel.

With that done, Elise leaves the throne room and moves down to where her personal flying boat is kept. She gets in along with a pair of guards, and drives it out into the open waterways of Soleanna. Her path is taking her to meet up with Tails and Macall at the military base.

Macall looks down at Tails as the young fox catches up, listening to his question, then nodding. "Our army having knowledge of what they are going up against could be invaluable in this coming battle, but no offense kid, I know the princess trusts you, and I'll take her word on you too, I think that the troops are going to need some persuasion to take the word of a young fox that no one in Soleanna knows." A hovercar would pull up and Macall gets in the back, beckoning Tails to get in on the other side. The car would then rush off toward the base.

[Tails]

Tails waves his hand and shakes his head. "I think I'll stay behind Macall. I maybe a kid, but I have a couple tricks up my sleeve. I'll be down there in a little bit. I just don't feel right taking a route where I'll only be viewed as a little kid. I know just the thing to convince you and your soldiers otherwise."

With that, Tails walks into Elise's room to see if she is still there. She isn't there and he knows he wouldn't need her to convince the soldiers or MaCall that he is more than just some kid. This is his moment to shine and bring the soldiers to his way of convincing people that no matter what anyone can succeed. Even if their little kids.

As he has beads of determination flowing through him and taking in the frailty of the situation, he takes the route he originally took and prepares himself to prove everyone wrong.

This is only the beginning.

He walks outside with a pep in his step and a look of determination to boot.

With one more thing in mind, Tails finds a nearby worker who knows what he's talking about. With a firm grip, he pulls on the workers T-shirt.

The man asks. "What is it child?"

[Tails]

Tails asks with an excited smile. "Can you tell me how to get..." Then he thought that instead of convincing the military that he's legit, that he'd try something else. He asks in a hurry. "Where's the runway?"

The man points toward the runway. Tails thanks him with a friendly wave. He gets into his plane and flies into the air with a good run along the runway.

As he flies in the air and concentrates on his new task at hand, he prepares to find the others he left behind to see if they would need any help from Robotnik. All he knows is that he'll have to fly above the clouds and rely on his GPS.

He smiles and cheers. "I hope you're ready for one hell of a surprise Eggman."

Elise continues on and ends up meeting with General Macall at the military base. She gets out of the boat and heads into a large hall after waving off her escorts and going in with just the general. Inside most of the military had assembled to be briefed for the coming battle. General Macall came to stand at the podium, with Elise at his side.\

"Alright men, the time has come. All your constant training will hopefully be enough to prepare you for the battle ahead. The army we are up against today, as far as we can tell, is going to be quite large. However, if we can assume anything based on the small attack weeks ago, these robotic warriors are relatively easy to destroy, however deadly they may be. Just be on your guard at all times, this is the big leagues boys. You all better bring everything you have, the fate of all of Soleanna rests on your shoulders. If we fail today, surely many, many lives will be lost."

Elise simply nods in agreement with the general's speech as she looks around the room at the assembled military. The men all salute and begin to march out of the building in a very orderly fashion.
