Warning: Stress Signal

Tails flies the tornado over the princess Elise air space. He prepares for what will happpen very soon if he isn't ready. He inhales and exhales. "I'm ready for it."

A voice comes over Tails' radio. "You're on restricted air space. Please identify yourself or we'll open fire."

Tails grabs the radio on his tornado and sends a message back to the voice on the other end. "This is Miles 'Tails' Prower and I have something to tell the Princess Elise. Its a matter of life and death. There isn't much time. I need to speak with her now."

The voice responds over the radio. "You have permission to land."

Tails lands the tornado and Elise' council walk toward the air craft for further examination

RE: Warning: Stress Signal

The royal council guides Tails to Elise. He stops in her presence and explains. "We have a major crises Elise. Robotnik's coming to attack and he's bringing a whole entire army."

Elise explains. "We don't have a very big army and it'll be a few weeks before other military forces are through with boot camp. I'm afraid to say that I currrently only have enough military to protect me from harm. I will offer a suggestion though if you're willing to have a helping hand for the war against Robotnik."

Tails asks. "What is it?"

Elise explains. "I could give the soldiers in boot camp a lot more excruciating training so they can be ready for the war or would you rather me take them out of boot camp for the time being. I can do either way. However, it might be better if you did a little more convincing on your part - the military isn't as strong as you freedom fighters are. You are my military, at least the kind of military I would risk against Robotnik. Let's see how well you can convince me otherwise."

RE: Warning: Stress Signal

Tails can't believe that Elise isn't budging. "Its a matter of life and death."

Elise asks. "Its a matter of life and death to whom"

Tails explains. "Its a matter of life and death to everyone on Soleanna, including you."

Elise explains her case. "As I said, you freedom fighters are my army; however I will allow my army to help you. Except on one condition."

Tails nods. "Name it."

Elise continues. "When you tell me to raise an army next time, make sure you're not a kid. Next time you come, bring an adult with you. Then I'll give you my fleet. Until then, you work on getting older."

Tails sighs. "I'll remember this when I ask you for help next time."

Elise slams her fist on her throne. "I don't have a sufficient army to help you. I just have enough of an army to protect myself. Take him away."

RE: Warning: Stress Signal

Tails considers what to do before he is taken away. "I have proof that Robotnik is on the way."

Tails shows Elise the plans for the attack on Soleanna on his CT23 watch. "Look at this and then you can say whether or not I should leave."

The guards also look at what Tails shows Elise and looks in curiosity.

Tails asks. "What do you think? Will you help us?"

(The person that's doing Princess Elise better hurry and get approved. I don't know how much longer Robotnik is going to wait before he attacks.)

RE: Warning: Stress Signal
Elise looks down at Tails' watch and squints a little to make out the images/video on the tiny screen. She suddenly gasps as she sees a large fleet of ships, which look like they mean business, followed by a diagram of Soleanna marked as 'target'. She looked Tails over once more, then nodded once, looking up into Tails' eyes. This fox may be young, she thought to herself, but he's very serious about this, and carries himself with a maturity beyond his years. It reminded her a little of herself, what it had felt like to take the reins of leading Soleanna when she was only thirteen.

"Well, I don't know who this Robotnik you speak of is, but I feel I would be foolish to ignore your warning. I believe you Miles, but this is my city, my home. It is I that should be asking you for help. We have a small military, but have lived in peace for longer than I have been alive." She then blinks a bit, remembering the small attack on the city by a bunch of robots, and the robot in Robotnik suddenly clicks in her mind. "Well, actually, there was a small attack on the city not long ago by some robots that never really amounted to much as they were stopped fairly quickly. Was that... initiated by Robotnik too? As I said, I don't really know who he is but you do, or at least know more about him than I do. Can you help me to know how best to organize a defense against his attack? I fear he was just testing Soleanna's defenses with his first attack."

She then quickly turns to one of her royal guards. "I want you to immediately go and inform the Grand General that he is to meet me here at once. Tell him that it is a dire emergency." Finally, she turns back to Tails, to hear his response.

"Yes princess, right away." Says the guard as he bows and turns to rush out of the room.

RE: Warning: Stress Signal

Tails considers his options about the subject. He listens to Elise very calmly and nods while she speaks. As soon as she turns her face toward him, he prepares himself to speak.

Tails explains. "I saw the robots on my way here while I was flying into your airfield. I don't know when they'll show up, but it'll be a pretty huge fleet. My friends are somewhere else. The only thing I can assume is that they're getting an army of freedom fighters. I won't be the only one fighting the army of Robotnik. You'll be supported by very talented freedom fighters. I don't know if such a tiny fleet attacked the city, but if that is the case - that isn't the end of the army coming this way.

"As for the defense, we don't need a big army. Robotnik maybe capable of creating advanced machines. However, his robots are very easy to destroy. He's come across me more than once and has failed miserably. This is the first time I'll be fighting a whole army without the help of Sonic. I have to believe in myself. And you have to believe in yourself and your army. Whether or not you decided to help is entirely up to you. So what do you say, will you help? It would be greatly appreciated."

RE: Warning: Stress Signal
Elise blinks as she watches Tails, listening to him very carefully, and a look of more intense worry shows on her fair face and she bites her lip a little. "Wait, so the fleet is already on it's way?" She asks with a flustered tone, turning to look at the entrance to the throne room for a moment, thinking to herself that the general better get here soon. She then turns back to Tails. "I will definately put all the forces that the city has to offer into action to defend against the attack, but are you asking that I personally help as well? I am not a good fighter, and would probably just get in the way and risk being killed if I tried to help in such a way. Or, is there some other way that you thought I could help?"

Just then, the grand general comes walking though the door. He gives Elise a curt bow before addressing her. "Good evening Princess Elise. I understand that there is some sort of emergency that you wished to speak to me about? I would guess that it is military related." He says as he glances over at the fox. "Who's this fox kid? I haven't seen him before." He says in a somewhat suspicious tone, his attitude belittling Tails a bit by the fact that he's so young.

"This is Miles Prower. He came here to inform us of a coming attack, and has shown me proof that it is the truth. I believe him, and ask that you do the same. Miles, why don't you explain to the general what you told me." She says with a smile and nods softly to the fox.

RE: Warning: Stress Signal

Tails smiles and shows the information of the watch to the general as he explains. "Robotnik is preparing an attack on Soleanna and you need to prepare the army very soon because the army is already on the way. I think I might have got word from my news tracker that a message from one of the freedom fighters came from the forest of knothole and contacted the chief of police.

Tails turns toward Elise. "As to answer your question about whether or not you should join the war directly... I think you should stay here where its safe. I don't wanna risk losing anyone. If you're able to keep in touch with the army where you are right now, I'll be glad that you're safe. Plus, if you died, a lot of people would be sad."

RE: Warning: Stress Signal
It seems like the general begrudges taking the word of a kid to bring the whole city's military forces into action, but he knew better than to argue with the princess when she had her mind set on something, and if it involved the safety of the city, you can never be too cautious. He nods to Tails, then turns to Elise. "I will begin preparing the Navy and the city defenses immediately. Be safe Princess." He says with a bow, then turns and leaves.

"Thank you Macall." She says to the general with a smile, then turns back to Tails, and can't help but giggle a little at what he says to her. "I don't control the army directly, I don't have the training or the experience. That's General Macall's job, he just needs my permission to make any big decisions when it comes to military action. I will stay here in the castle where it is safe. I can only hope that our defenses are enough. In any case, if I were to die, people would be more than just sad, I am the only living heir to the Soleanna throne, if I die, Soleanna and her people will have no one to lead them, though I guess my father's advisors could take over, though I'm not sure how long that would last, many of them are fairly up in age these days." It was probably a good thing that Elise didn't know Robotnik well enough to know just how bad it would be if he successfully took over Soleanna.

RE: Warning: Stress Signal

Tails goes with Macall and talks to him on the way to the troops. "Do you want me to help in giving descriptions to the ships that are on there way or should I leave you to your business?"

Tails hopes that Macall complies and plus the fact that he hopes that the other troops don't remind him that he's just a kid. He may accept that without confrontation, but he knows that he has the IQ of someone much older than him. Something that far outweighs Robotnik.

Tails continues the chat with Macall. "I'm not the best with explanations. However, I like to be useful. So I'll try my best."
