RE: Egg Command Tower
Unlike the Spybot, Rose’s first reaction would, well come first. The moment she saw the SWATbots, she opened fire. Though as soon as she did, her actions came to a halt, when she heard a familiar voice calling out to her.

“Rose---!?” it had started out, before her shots cut him off. But as soon as her gun began to react, the man began to yell out something different. “Stop, stop, Stop, STOP!!!”

She’d most likely had hit a SWATbot to Alta’s left, though most likely it wasn’t too damaging. But the rest of her shots got a little too close to the man in the elevator. With a wide-eyed expression of disbelief, she stared straight towards the man in the elevator who had his arms covering the side of his head.

“…Pansy @$$?”Rose exclaimed with a tone of surprise in her voice; as one eyebrow lifted up.

Alta, obviously didn’t care to hear his ‘old’ nick-name, as he sighed deeply. He stepped out of the elevator as he put his arms down to his side, when he saw Rose lower her gun down.

“Rose? Could you…-PLEASE- stop trying to shoot the robots?” he started off, almost as though he was her mother, “I can explain everything---”

“You-mean-how-Robotnik-is-alive-,-the-fact-that-he-took-over-Station-Square-turning-it-into-Robotoroplios;-due-to-the-rip-of-the-space-time-continuum-that-Sonic-and-Blaze-caused-while-going-super?”

Alta paused for a second as he blinked, looked at Rose with a strange look on his face. Everything Rose had blurted out had been said fairly quickly when she had cut him off. But not only that, she had said something that –he- didn’t even know. But then again, if she knew that—

“If you know that, why are you still attacking his SWATbots?” Alta blurted out, just as he was thinking about it.

He saw Rose shrug, before she replied. “Because like hell I’m listening to a bunch of robots.” She began, in a “Don’t you know?” fashion, “Plus, I like to have a –little- fun once in a while.” She crossed her arms the best she could with Hennery in her hands. She also looked to the side, with her nose a little in the air, as though she was offended by his question.

Alta simply sighed.

[Time skip. To Egg Air Field.]

RE: Egg Command Tower
[Afraid there's not much to do here with your characters kinda taking over the topic.]

The SWATbots kind of stood off to the side, confused as to what they should do. They clearly wanted to shoot Rose, with how they had their weapons up, but they also were told that Alta had some kind of relationship with her. And he did get her to stop shooting, so that was good and all. In any case, for the moment, the bots were just silent observers.

RE: Egg Command Tower
[Time skip after the Egg Air Field topic. Let me know if all of my assumptions here are okay.]

A few days or so had passed since Rampage and Rose had made themselves known to Robotnik's presence.

As for his new comrades, he arranged to have Rose heal up in a room near Alta's room, so the two of them could meet and talk easily. Per Rose's commands, he made sure that none of the medic bots spoke to Rose in that calm, soothing tone he'd programmed them for. So they spoke to Alta instead, who would relay instructions to Rose.

Today, one of the medic bots walked in and gently placed a tray of breakfast foods next to Rose, and then left just as gingerly so as not to set her off. [Assume its her favorite foods and feel free to describe them too.]

Rampage was still locked up in his cell on the prison floors. At the present time, Robotnik was sitting on a small chair outside the jail cell, with a terminal in front of him. A number of wires ran from the terminal into connections on Rampage's robotic parts. He'd expected this to be harder, but Robotnik almost had the deactivation code figured out for his new token evil (well, relatively speaking) teammate.

"Rampage...I..." Robotnik caught himself there for a second. He almost apologized for making the badger wait so long. But that just didn't seem right at all, after what he'd done.

So instead he said, "I'm almost done with the code. As soon as I get this downloaded and easy to access at any time, I will let you right out." He smirked as he continued to scan through the lines of code. "I trust that this time in the jail cell has been good for you? Plenty of time to meditate on why we don't shoot our own allies?"

RE: Egg Command Tower
----
Rose stared at the pancakes with an innocent look as she picked the tray up. After starting at the food, she then proceeded to poking it.

Her sudden change of mode frightened him. There was just something about someone going from mean and angry to happy and joyful when there was no logical explanation for her to do so. Though, granted she was still very disturbing. Saying certain things in a happy tone; while the things she said weren’t very happy at all. That and the fact that she first freaked out when they tried to place the IV in her arm and what can only be described as horrible nightmares, the sudden change didn’t simply seem right.

After taking a few bites, Rose looked towards Alta, whose thoughts were diffidently showing through. She seemed to stare at him in deep thought before she finally said something.

“…You still haven’t done it…”

Alta dawned a confused look.

“What?”

“The nurse’s outfit. You’re not wearing it.”

Alta sighed. For the past two days she had kept insisting on it; and he knew why. Because she was annoyed by the robot’s speech, he had to act as a middle man once more. Which placed him in a position very close to a nurse. She was obviously mocking him, which was normal to say the least. But, it was getting annoying.

“-No-.”

“Please~”

No.

“Prweetty please~?”

“NO.”

“But you would look so pretty~” The expression on her face when she closed her eyes could only be described as happy, cheerful, and- dare say it- cute. Which made him all the more unnerved.

“I’m going to leave to see how the Doctor is doing, do you need anything else?” He was dodging, but there wasn’t much else to do to get her to get off the subject. As he waited for a reply there was a pause as she looked at him.

“….other than the nurses outfit?-”

“-Yes.”

“Nope. Except, maybe, hand this to the doc.”

She held out a four times folded piece of paper. Looking at it bemused, he grabbed it from her and placed it in his pocket.

“Sure...”

----

Alta would soon arrive, though he said nothing when he did. Seeing Dr. Robotnik working and speaking with Rampage, he felt it was best to not interject.

RE: Egg Command Tower
Rampage sat quietly in the corner of his cell, arms folded across his chest, just as he had the entire time he'd been incarcerated. Up to now, he'd hardly paid any mind to Robotnik. He hardly even seemed bothered by all the wires sticking out of his arm, chest and face plate; as if this was all boringly familiar to him. But when Robotnik spoke about him repenting his actions, that devious, sinister grin spread across his fleshy chin.

"If you think I'm sorry about shouting Miss Prissy-whats-her-face, than you obviously still don't know me very well, do you?" Rampage's hollow voice reverberated with an eerie weight in the sparse cell.

Rampage's cyborg eye was now staring directly at Robotnik with it's cold, unblinking gaze. "Let me ask you something, why do you think I shot her?"

RE: Egg Command Tower
Robotnik continued to scan the code as he spoke back to Rampage.

"Well, you did tell me yourself when you actually shot her. You didn't want her to get away with insulting you. And that's why I have to do this. If we're going to take over the world, I can't have an ally who lacks extremely basic discipline. You need to change your attitude if you want to stick around here much longer, my friend. Rose may be a bit...euuuugh..." He accompanied that with a wavy hand motion while rolling his eyes. "...but at least she doesn't lose control the way you did."

He saw a reference to a class that looked particularly interesting, and moved out to the relevant project file in Rampage's storage. Out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw someone come in. The doctor turned, and saw Alta standing there. He gave him a brief smile.

"Oh, hello there Alta. How are things with you and my number one fan?"

RE: Egg Command Tower
“I’m fine, but Rose….Ahhhhh, well frankly, I don’t know whether to say she’s gotten better or worse.” He began, sounding concerned. “She’s taking the whole thing incredibly well. She’s all bright, happy and…cheerful. It’s quite disturbing when you knew her to be angry all the time and mean to everyone…except, you of course.”

The last part of Alta’s statement had a small amount of resentment in it. Though, he didn’t really seem to realize it himself. Whether it was unconscious or not, wouldn’t be entirely known. He placed his hands into his pockets and felt the note Rose had given him. Though instead of handing it to the Doctor right away, he decided to wait until the Doctor was done with his work. After all, he didn’t really want to interrupt him; especially if it was going to anger the badger.

RE: Egg Command Tower
"Hah! That wasn't a temper tantrum, Doc. That's what you call establishing the pecking order. I don't play second fiddle to anyone. The only reason I take orders from you is because you're one of the few people I actually respect. Besides, I know you're not above slapping your minions around to make sure they know who's boss, so you're no different than me. I'm just a bit more extreme than you've ever been willing to go; and that's why you're scared of me, isn't it? That's also why you need guys like me. You're never going to get anywhere taking over the world without the resolve to do what needs to be done. But like I said before, as long as what's-her-face keeps outta my way you won't have t' worry about me shooting anyone else up."

RE: Egg Command Tower
As he listened to Alta, Robotnik sighed, and followed that up with a little chuckle as he shook his head.

"Why am I not surprised she's acting this way? She is a kooky one, although I do like having her around."

It was at this point that Rampage decided to reply to what Robotnik had to say to him. There was the slightest of frowns when he mentioned that Robotnik was probably scared of him, but then it disappeared and he turned back to his work.

"Rampage, it's one thing to punish my minions. It's quite another to do what you did. Your punishment did not fit the crime. And besides, I don't think I need any help from you in keeping my troops in line."

He looked up from the screen once more, adjusting his glasses.

"And since you say you'll only follow my orders, then you will follow this one: you will never do anything of that magnitude to any of your allies ever again. If it happens once more, then I turn you off permanently. Your precious pecking order does zero good to helping our cause, and it'll just breed discord among us. With an enemy like Sonic, we can't afford that weakness. It's something he could exploit."

After looking back at the screen, the corner of his mouth went up into a half smile. The doctor tapped a few more keys, then disconnected a small handheld device from the computer.

"Well Rampage, I do believe I am all done. You may take off those cables and come out now."

Robotnik stood up, pressed some keys beside the cell door, and it slowly hissed open.

RE: Egg Command Tower
Shifting in place slightly, he took his hands out of his pockets; pulling the two page note that was folded four times out.

“Since you’re done, I can give this to you.” He took a step forward towards the doctor as he held the note out towards him. “I don’t know what it is, just that Rose asked me to give it to you.”
